Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, always have a plan B.
The cars after us shot at us but the bullet couldn’t penetrate the car, it happened that it was a bulletproof car.
We didn’t fire back, John continue driving straight as the cars were still after us and the helicopter flying over us.
Some distance away from us was a road block and police blocking the road and immediately John swings to the left into the bush path, the road was not smooth so it was difficult moving on it and it also slowed down those after us.
This moment felt like deje vu to me, I could feel it in my stomach that something is no adding up but we had to get away.
We got to the end of the rough road, there was no parth ahead, just trees.
We couldn’t turn back because they were coming towards our direction, we jumped down pulling down the law, we moved into the bush going without turning back.
Everything around looked familiar, like I have been on this parth before but that was not in Ore road but in Lagos, I tried to push the thought to the back of my mind as we made to escape.
The police was still far away from us but we could hear them from a distance, the helicopter was no longer flying over us, we continued going forward dragging the Law along, he couldn’t walk on his own due to the bullet wound on his leg.
We stopped by a big tree but something unexpected happened.
The weather changed immediately and wind began to blow shaking the trees to their root.
“They are here,” the law said as we looked at him confused.
“Who is here,” I asked him but he refused to say who.
“Just kill me don’t let them get me,” he said, shouting.
“What are you talking about,” Peter shouted back.
We could see some men dressed in a red robe covering their head and reaching to the ground and tied a black cloth around their waist, they walked towards our direction.
And immediately everywhere changed and we found our self in the cave just like before, we looked around confused as at what was happening, the law fell facedown before the people that were gathered there.
“Michael, you and your friends have done absolutely wonderful, we would take over from here,” the man said.
“We need an explanation as to how this man here know about us and about you too,” said Peter.
“That is no important to you, all you need to know is that you have completed your mission successful,” the man sitting on the throne said.
“Now our work is done, you have to fulfill your own part of the bargain,” I said to the man.
“Not so fast,” he said as I looked up at him surprised.
“What else do you want with us?” I asked.
“I would like to make your a proposal,” he said with a smirk on his face.
“And what other proposal do you have this time around?” I asked.
“I want you guys to continue on such missions, helping people from the shadows and in return we will make your guys rich,” he said still have that smirk on his face, which looked like something was wrong somewhere.
