No Room For Love Episode 54
Kate felt Nectars wet lips on hers in no time and slowly gave in and vice versa. For close to two minutes, he was everywhere on her body.
His emotions were out of place and he was making headway with the pleasures they both needed by touching the right places, when a knock came on the door. He jumped to his feet like a cheating husband caught by his wife.
“Who is there?’ He asked while Kate quickly pulled up her blouse which was almost taken off by Nectar.
“Katie are you okay in there.” Matts asked concerned.
“Matilda go away.” Nectar shouted and interrupted Kate’s thoughts.
“Saint I need Katie now with something urgent.”
‘What is that?’ Nectar asked.
‘Katie, I have a lead on that mail we talked about the last time.’ Matts shouted to her because she hasn’t heard her voice yet.
Nectar shoved Kate an eye. ‘Please can we continue this later,’ Kate asked Nectar who just nodded his head. She quickly rushed herself downstairs meeting Matt’s half way who pulled up her zipper for her with a weird look.
When they got there, a tall man in suit was waiting for them.
‘Meet my Confidential Informant.’ Matts introduced!
‘Okay! Tell me the anonymous person behind the username LITDEVIL5.’ Kate asked rather in a hurry to go back upstairs.
‘You won’t believe this. I think you need to sit down for this.’ Kate forgot she was standing all along.
“Talk Matts, what is it?” Kate asked curiously.
“Drake set you up.”
“Huh! No way.”
‘Yes, way Katie! He did everything electronically and hired Bradley who initially was just in for the money but well you know how that story ended.’
‘Wait, start again.’ Kate obviously was in shock.
‘When he realized he was getting so close to liking you, he had to get him off the way that was when the murder and rape story of the girl came about.’
‘No, I refuse to believe this. Why would he do that?’ Kate just lost appetite for whatever she was in a hurry to go back to.
‘I don’t know yet.’
‘Let me call him,’ She said in a rush.
‘No you will do no such thing, we have to thread carefully.’
‘Alright but what should i do now.’
‘Allow me handle this mess, while you have all the time to fix your marriage.’ Matts offered.
“Thank you Matts.’ They shook hands with the C.I and who Matt’s didn’t allow to speak a word in there until he walked out.
They both sighed for a while and kept staring at the file the C.I brought earlier. Matt’s knew she had to make her happy before she goes upstairs with the sadness on her face.
‘Katie how is that going up there with you two.’ Matts asked pointing to the direction to which she was headed earlier before she stopped her.
‘Matts let me gist you later,’ Kate replied grinning.
Her friend was happy she wasn’t sad about the earlier development.
‘Okay but I hope you are not planning to tell him anything yet.’ Matts asked.
‘Of course, Yes, I have to. I can’t start this new journey on secrets and lies.’ Kate said shaking her head to agree she has made the right decision.
She wriggled her hands and rushed upstairs.
‘What was that all about?’ Nectar asked when Kate entered her matrimonial room.
Kate didn’t see the need to answer him right at that moment when all she was thinking about was the kiss earlier she knew she had to start giving him the benefits of the doubt.
“I think you might not believe me but then you ask Matts.” Kate said having second thoughts.
‘Kate, I think I can trust you, so talk. If you are not ready to do that now, then it’s fine.’ Nectar said honestly.
She smiled and glanced at him walk away to the washroom and she quickly searched through her wardrobe. Kate forgot her bag was still in Matt’s car but she remembered keeping a new Pajamas in one of the small drawers. It was neatly folded when she checked and she grabbed it smiling.

Sleeping on the other side of the bed, he came in smelling like fresh water. ‘That earlier was about Mandy.’ Kate examined the look on Nectars face.
And It’s not what you think please.’ Kate said politely. ‘I will tell you about it on one condition.’
“Which is? Nectar asked curiously smiling at her.
‘Tell me about Keisha, I have the right to know if she has done anything to bring about those episodes.’ Kate demanded.
Nectar became sad all of a sudden then heaved a loud and painful sigh and made to talk. ‘How much exactly did Matts tell you?’ He asked.
“Just about the marriage to how you tried saving Keisha and failed. That was all.”
‘I think that is it then.’ Nectar tried to hide the fact that he was not comfortable with talking about his past.
‘No what happened? Nectar I’m trying here to open up, that’s a good thing.’ Kate said rather shyly.
Kate wondered how she was so comfortable for the past one hour with him when she thought getting back with him would be difficult.
Nectar looked at her with a frown and cleared his throat. ‘Keisha and I had a little argument over leaving the Hamptons back home. She wanted to stay but I insisted we go because I had to resume work soon, which I needed to handle some few things beforehand.’
He swallowed hard and paused.
‘Are you okay?’ She asked concerned.
Yeah, i’m fine. So some other words followed and she was angry I already packed up her things. But she was taking long to come out of the washroom and i was wondering why and went in search of her. I realized she slipped and was in her own pool of blood.’
‘Ohh i’m sorry.’
‘Just a stupid argument, why couldn’t i put her need first. I was just stupid then.’
‘You were not stupid Nectar.’ Kate announced before she realized she said something new.
‘And i don’t want to make that mistake with you, the reason i paid no attention to your rudeness. Because i might just commit another murder if i do.’
Nectar finally said with tears strolling down his cheeks.
Kate wasn’t sure if she should be holding him in her arms but he quickly spoke up. ‘Now your turn Kate. I want to hear it all.’
She grinned and raised herself up a bit.
After what looks like an hour, Kate realized she just told him everything about her dad and down to Drake the last fool in love with her.
‘Thank you for trusting me with this let me know what I can do to help.’ Nectar finally found his voice and wiped his face.
Kate then realized Nectar is just an ordinary man who had a bitter experience and may never recover. She kept thinking to herself and longing for that kiss from earlier.
‘Can we continue what we started earlier?’ Nectar finally asked!
‘What did we start earlier?’ Kate pretended not to know when she just thought about it a while ago.
‘You do want me to say it right?’ Kate feigned a smile at Nectar’s sarcastic question.
‘Ahuh!’ She exclaimed.
‘I want to kiss you again. Just a Kiss.’ Nectar said grinning.
No gentle man, i’ m not ready and I don’t want to disappoint you again moaning someone else’s name.’
Over excitement took over Kate’s lips as she cursed herself that instant for refusing that golden opportunity.
‘I don’t care Kate; you can even mention Matt’s name that is not a big thing.’
‘How can you make a joke right now when I am serious?’ Kate said still not sure of her feelings. As she thought about it for a minute she felt it was a good idea not to jump the fence yet, as she had no idea what to expect.
‘Sorry, I just….’ Nectar was about to say when she held her middle finger on his lips and told him to give her time.
‘I can hold you in my arms right.’
‘Says, who?’ They giggled and drifted to sleep as if they were not the same people who hated each other from the start.
Matt’s waited in the hall to hear noise from arguments but nothing came up and she was glad her brother and Kate were having a good time.

‘Why did you ask me here Matts? Has something happened to Kate?’
After learning Drake did all that, Matts arranged a meeting with him, though she has her own personal agenda to push around.
“I must admit I admire his stature, which i’m lusting over right now sitting in front of him.” Matts thoughts were loud but Drake didn’t hear her because a noisy truck passed by suddenly.
‘Matts, are you just going to stare at me?’ Drake asked wondering what was going on with her.
‘Emmm pardon my stare.’ Matts came out of her reverie stammering.
‘Why did you bring me here Matts?’ Drake asked again, confused why Matts kept staring and swallowing saliva as if she was thirsty.
‘I wa…n..’ She was stuttering and Drake felt she was thirsty.
‘Waiter, kindly give the lady here some juice. Pineapple preferably because she hasn’t touched the coffee in front of her.’ Drake ordered.
Matt’s was suddenly dumb. She couldn’t explain her feelings towards Drake. It wasn’t as if he is her type but the feeling was just intense. Maybe she just wanted to sleep with him. Matts thought silently.
By the time, she realized she saw him dropping money on the table, probably for the coffee she ordered but had not touched yet.
Matts quickly stood up and blocked his way. ‘I’m sorry Drake. Don’t go because Katie’s life depends on it.’
He looked back into Matts eyes and she feigned a smile.
‘Okay make it snappy, I have somewhere else to be.’ Drake said without reading meaning into what Matts said earlier, or he just didn’t care anymore.
‘Who is LITDEVIL5?’ Matts asked and saw the look on Drake’s face. He was surprised and that tells her he knew what she was talking about now. He was silent for an extra two minutes as Matts kept looking into his eyes and each time, he made to talk nothing came out.
‘Drake, you did this to someone you claim you love? Come on, to think I came here hoping you would actually prove me wrong.’ Matts said just hoping that somehow, she was wrong in accusing Drake.
He regained his composure suddenly. ‘Look Matts, who else knows about this.’
“Wow so it is true.” Matts said losing all hope.
He held her hands firmly, which she slapped on the table earlier. The spark she couldn’t control but she needs to focus on his answers.
“Matts get over yourself now,” She murmured to her inner being.
‘What did you say?’ He asked her curiously.
“I asked a question and I need an answer.” Matts said annoyingly now.
‘See I can explain but only to Kate.’ He said calmly.
‘She doesn’t want to see you. What point of that don’t you get Drake.’ Matts said trying to control her anger and emotions.

‘Thank you,’ Drake said with a serious face, while he drove alongside Matts.

Her marriage has been at peace since her reconcillation with Nectar. Though it’s not yet a strong bond, they were able to get through the past week successfully.
Nectar had insisted she stayed home for the week and she obeyed after giving it a lot of thought.
‘Stacy!’ Kate called up to her assistance who was looking around the living room while Kate was yet to attend to the reason she came by.
Kate walked down the stairs, while Nectar followed.
Hello Miss, I brought the documents as you asked. But the investors want a meeting with you soon or they pull out.’ Stacy stated while avoiding Nectar’s gaze which was on her since he came down.
‘Don’t I know you from somewhere?’ Nectar asked, distracting them from their conversation. Kate shoved him an eye.
‘Nectar of course you know her, Stacy my assistance. Now can you please let us have this meeting?’
‘Kate but i’m sure I know her from somewhere else.’
‘Nectar, leave us alone. Remember I’m in the house because you asked me to.’
‘Yes, but she……’
‘I think I should go to work now.’ Kate feigned standing up.
‘No, Kate! I give up, but let’s talk about this when you are done.’ Nectar said and took a second look at Stacy whose heartbeat can be heard from afar and her confused gaze was all over the room.
When she left Kate apologized on Nectar’s behalf.
‘So, Stacy, I would be at work next week. Send them an invite, then we see how best we can handle that.’
‘Thank you, Miss I have to get going now.’ Stacy said rather in a hurry.
Why don’t you wait for lunch, i’m sure my husband wont mind though you are avoiding him for some reason he tried to state earlier.’
‘I don’t want to Miss Santa.’
‘Do you know him because you usually wait for lunch at my moms when you visit.’ Kate said curiously.
‘No Miss, I just have many reports I need to handle.’ Stacy said struggling with her voice.
‘But i’m the Boss, the reports can hang on for now.’ Kate said smiling.
‘But Miss, the truth is I have a date and I need to prepare for it.
‘Ohh I see! Good luck then,’ Kate said and walked her to the door.

‘Nectar, what was that all about earlier, you scared the poor girl. I’ve been trying for years to get through to her but she keeps to herself and then you pulled that stunt out there.’
‘Sorry Kate, her face struck someone I know.’ Nectar said still trying to remember.
‘Someone like the many girls you took advantage of.’ Kate spilled that trash out before coming to her senses.
‘Wow! Is someone jealous?’ Nectar couldn’t stop smiling but managed to ask.
‘You wish.’ Kate said smiling.
‘Jealousy is a good step.’ He teased and Kate grinned.
‘Well if you happen to remember then you let me know because I figured she knows you too because I saw her earlier staring at your image on the wall.’
Nectar jerked up and wondered why Stacy was interested in his mere image.
‘Are you sure Kate?’
‘Yes, but it’s not a big deal. Besides, she could just be admiring you that’s all.’ Kate said now smiling.
‘If you say so, but be careful around her.’ Nectar advised.
‘Alright Bishop Glover.’ They both ended up laughing.

‘Mom I’m not sure I can continue this anymore, every time I get the opportunity to take revenge for how I was abandoned like a chicken; she just makes me feel welcomed.’
‘Don’t be fooled.’ Her mom replied.
‘Shouldn’t I be going after her Dad rather?’
‘No if you do, you might not get enough money. If Kate is out of the way, there you can get everything.’
‘Mom is that necessary, I mean I could just ask because and she wouldn’t hesitate.’

Stacy’s mom on the other side of the phone said to her when she left the Glover premises earlier on one of her missions.

‘What is happening here?’ Katie asked coming down the stairs, and staring at Drake and Matts sitting watching each other weirdly.
‘Relax dear he has answers.’ Matts tried to defend. Kate missed her friend but she had to be tough on him.
“Kate! Look at me! After all these years, I was wondering if my face hasn’t struck your memory yet.” Drake said with difficulty.
‘What are you talking about now?’ Kate said frowning her face.
“Grade 5.”
‘What happened to Grade 5.’ Kate muttered eyeing him.
‘The sluggish dude who always had a crush on you but you were always withdrawn and reserved back then. I looked for you after you changed school and i heard you went to Beacon Hills.’
‘I’ve never met you Drake.’ She stared at him weirdly.

Drake was near to tears, but pushed it back.

‘Who has the username now?’ She asked and saw a shock on his face. ‘Don’t worry Matts texted me with the details before you came.’ Kate said after she saw the surprise look on Drakes face when she popped the question.
‘Drake, just tell her what you told me.’ Matt’s chipped in when she saw the hesitation on his face.

‘You know what fix it. You made me vulnerable to a vulture out there, who could swallow me soon.’ Kate said getting angry within herself.
‘Okay I will find a way.’ He said with sorrow, whiles Matt’s watched on.
‘Now you can get out.’ Kate spew out with emotions and was returning upstairs when he called out.
‘Kate i’m sorry for the mean words I used on you the last time. Please forgive me.’ Drake announced apologetically.
‘Katie listen to him. You can’t lose your best friend.’ Matts said without jealousy this time.
‘Is he God that I can’t lose?’ She sfrowned. ‘Okay fine on two conditions!’ She reconsidered.
‘Name anything possible!’ Drake said cheerfully.
“Look for the one responsible and second try and kill whatever you feel for me.”
‘Kate that is not possible. You of all people should understand.’ Drake tried to reason with Kate.
‘Understand what?’ Kate asked.
Okay, how do I do that?’
‘I don’t care, do that and you have my forgiveness.’ Kate said seriously now.
‘I would try.’ Drake assured her.
“Maybe you could just sleep with Matts here that would break the love charm. She is good at breaking charms and hearts.” Kate said without thinking.
“Katie!” Matts yelled!

‘You are a sellout.” Matts said and grinned with anger towards Katie but for Drake she couldn’t figure it out.
She saw Drake leaving when Nectar walked in.
“Hey,” they greeted each other. Kate stood on the stairs watching Matt’s running her hands through her hair.
“Hello Sis, how is it.” Then he walked to where Kate was standing.
“Hi Kate. Hope you are fine.”
Kate replied with a “Yes “. He passed by to the room tapping her shoulder briefly.
Kate kept grinning until Matt’s cleared at her throat.
‘Am I missing something here, Katie?’ Matts asked surprising her.
‘What?’ She pretended not to know what Matts was referring to.
‘You just answered Nectar in a smooth manner.’
‘So?’
‘Has he slept with you again?’ Matts said with a loud tone.
Kate rushed to her. ‘Calm down.’ She said with her hands covering Matts mouth and dragged her to her room.
‘You want him to hear you.’
‘Tell me or I go out there and shout.’ Matts threatened.
‘Matts nothing happened. You ruined our Kiss with that knock.’
‘Wow, you are a slut Katie.’
Kate threw her pillow at her. ‘You called me a slut right, then you are a brat Matts.’
‘Slut.’ Matt’s stressed.
‘Seriously, between the two of us, who sleeps around most? Katie asked.
‘You Katie,’ Matts replied covering her face with the pillow thrown earlier.
‘Matts i sleep with my boyfriend’s not random hairy dudes.’ Matts gave her a slap on the back and they all laughed.
‘At least i’m having fun unlike you.’ Matt’s teased.
‘You need to get a man soon Matts. At least one to sleep with better than sleeping with everything in trousers.’ Kate advised Matts who was looking on sternly.
‘I know right,’ matts replied.
‘I know you don’t like the marriage stuffs but a personal booty call will do no harm Matts.’ Kate tried not to sound offensive.
‘Thanks mom,’ matts teased.
‘Silly you.’ Kate hit her gently. ‘I need to see nectar and i would be back.’
‘Don’t rub it in my face,’ Matts said while Kate smiled back.
Nectar within the week had asked Kate to speak with Matt’s to stop sleeping around and it seemed their plan had worked.

‘Stacy who is chasing you. Is there a problem?’ Kate asked Stacy who just barged into her office without any notice.
‘Miss I’m sorry,’ Stacy apologized looking around as if she lost something.
‘Stacy you can go!’ Kate raised her head up from her pile of work and realized she was still standing there looking around her office. ‘Stacy, I said you can go.’
She still stood there looking around weirdly.
‘You want to tell me something?’ Kate asked wishing she could just open up to her for once, she has always liked Stacy since she came for that interview which she didn’t qualify for in the first place.
Kate gave her a job thinking she could make a friend out of her.
‘Miss have you taken the juice I brought earlier,’ Stacy asked waking Kate out of her thoughts.
‘No Stacy, it smelled so funny so I dropped it in the bin.’ Kate said and Stacy sighed a big ‘Thank Goodness.’
Kate finally dropped her pen.
‘Stacy are you sure you are fine. Do you need some time off?’
‘No Miss, I just wanted to check if you needed anything.’ Stacy managed to say covering her tracks.
‘Are you sure, because earlier you looked like you had committed a crime.’ Kate said lost in her thoughts.
‘I just realized I got the wrong juice type for you and I was scared to tell you, since I’ve been making many mistakes lately.’
‘Stacy you don’t have to be scared of me at all. I’m grateful you are always giving this company your best.’
‘Thank you, Miss,’ Stacy smiled after Kate’s compliments.
She was walking out when she asked Kate a question that she assumed was weird.
“Miss do you have any siblings?” Stacy asked avoiding Kate’s gaze.
‘Why did you ask Stacy?’
‘I was just curious because you seem to be handling this whole place alone.’
‘Well my mom died before she could give me a brother or a sister though it would have been so nice to have one.’
‘Really! You would love to have a sibling.’ Stacy asked with excitement.

Kate realized Stacy was trying to open up to her, so she invited her over for dinner on Saturday.
‘Miss i’m not sure your husband would like me there.’ Stacy tried to reject the invitation.
‘Why wouldn’t he want you there?’ Kate asked wondering what Nectar has done now.
‘The way he was staring at me the last time I brought the documents over, tells me he doesn’t like me that much.’ Stacy said bluntly.
‘Ooh come on Stacy, I’m sure my husband will be just fine with you around.’ Kate said loosening up.
‘Okay Miss I will think about it.’ She said with a hesistant tone and rushed off before Kate could try to stress the invitation.

Nectar woke up drenching in sweat and found himself in Kate’s arm, while she was dozing off.
‘Kate, are you alright.’ Nectar gently tapped her on the shoulder.
‘You are awake.’ Kate asked with sleep calling her back.
‘Yes, what happened!’ Nectar asked confused.
‘Your episodes.’ Kate said releasing herself from Nectars grasp.
‘That makes it four days in a row Kate.’ Nectar said weakly.
‘Yes, and I think you should consider talking to a Psychologist. Sorry to say this but you need a special kind of help that I can’t offer.’
Nectar gave his wife a quick Kiss, got down from the bed and walked straight out of the door.
He was obviously embarrased so he spent the whole night in the washroom waiting for her to sleep off.
Kate slept off for a while and went in search of him. She found him in the hall with a frown on his face.
‘This is where you are?’ Kate sighed and asked Nectar who directed Kate’s phone in her face.
‘I thought you cut all ties with your so called ex, so why does he keep calling you.’ Nectar said trying to control himself.
‘So you were going through my phone, why didn’t you answer and ask him why he keeps calling your wife.’ She hissed and walked down to check on Matts.
She came to check on how he was doing but it seemed to her, Nectar didn’t need her help.
Nectar just nodded his head to Kate’s stubbornness.

‘Mom, stop whoever you sent after Kate. I want to tell her the truth now.’
Stacy was sitting with her mother who was so angry her daughter wasn’t thinking straight.
‘Young woman, if you are tired of this, just allow me handle it and keep your mouth shut.’ Stacy’s Mom told her daughter sternly.
‘Mom be careful, because if you are caught, I will deny you.’
‘You wish i should be caught?’
‘No but investigations are ongoing with the last stunt we pulled.’ Stacy advised her mom.
Just then, Stacy’s phone rang. She quickly answered Kate couldn’t wait to talk so they skipped the greetings.
‘Are you coming for dinner this evening?’ Kate was on the other side of the phone with Stacy.
‘Sorry Miss, I cant make it! I’m stuck with my mom tonight.’ She explained!
‘Though I’m disappointed but that’s fine.’ Kate told Stacy over the phone.
Stacy apologized and hanged up. Her mom stared at her for a while and told her to be careful.

‘Nectar can I see you for a moment.’ Matt’s asked Nectar who was enjoying an alone time with his wife’s well-prepared lunch. He gets to enjoy that all the time now.
‘Matilda can you at least let me finish this meal, why are you a torn in my flesh these days.’ Nectar said trying to finish the last spoon of meal.
“Saint trust me, this one can’t wait and Katie’s life depends on it now”.
Nectar sprung up from where he sat earlier. ‘Matilda start talking.’ Nectar almost couldn’t control his anger when Matt’s delayed in talking.
She then handed over the envelope to Nectar who quickly glanced through and snapped.
‘Where did you get this from and it’s outdated.’
‘I have my ways.’ Matt’s replied.
‘You had this all this while and never said anything.’ Nectar questioned.
‘Kate was going through a lot already and there was no need for me rubbing in the fact that the only person she trusted had been her worse nightmare.’
‘But still, she had the right to know.’
‘Yes and besides, I’ve been monitoring her movements and so far nothing but whatever reasons she did that in the past i guess Kate has to handle that herself now.’
‘Handle what myself!’
Matts and Nectar turned their attention to the door, which was left opened when Matts came in earlier.
Nectar had a sorry grimace on and Matt’s eyes were betraying her. They both tried to say something but their tongues couldn’t move.
‘Why are you both staring as if you were gossiping about me.’ Kate asked suspecting they were hiding something.
‘You are back early, what happened.?’ Nectar found his voice.
‘Nectar, that doesn’t answer my question. What should I handle?’ She asked again.
‘Ooh that?’
‘Yes that.’ Kate replied him while glancing at Matt’s who was avoiding her gaze.
‘Matts was suggesting a baby shower and I told her I would let you handle that yourself.’ Nectar lied.
‘Oh really, Matts! You are a genius but i’m not stupid to believe the tension going on between you two when I came in was about an ordinary baby shower.’ Kate said with curiosity. ‘Now someone should start talking before I lose it.’ Kate threatened.
‘Kate it hasn’t come to that, Lets go to the room and we would talk.’
She thought about it for a while and since she didn’t want to disrespect her husband anymore, Kate led the way quietly without another word.
Immediately they got in, She didn’t wait for them to have a seat but faced him instantly.
‘Nectar we are here now and you are not talking.’
‘Becau….’
‘Okay keep it to yourself, let it eat you up.’ Kate said interrupting his earlier speech. She flunged her wardrobe open and changed up.
She actually came home to relax a little and go back, but at the look of things she cant. She was still in her thoughts when she felt Nectars hands running through her hair.
‘Nectar stop it, I thought we agreed no secrets from now on.’ Kate muttered curiously.
‘I know but this is a messed up one. Promise me you are going to thread carefully for the sake of the little ones.’
‘I’m listening.’ She tried to smile but knew Nectar might stop talking when she does and besides she figured it was bad news.
Nectar took his time and cuddled her for a while before narrating everything to her. She started weeping even before the story ended.
‘Whatever happened she might have a genuine reason.’ Nectar advised Kate who couldn’t handle the truth staring her in the face. She yelled, cried and drifted to sleep.
By the time Nectar got back from the washroom, Kate has disappeared, locking Nectar in doors. She drove on top speed to her father’s house.

Kate waited for a while at the door before she flung it open and spotted her mom resting.
‘Mom I can’t believe you could mess up my life. I thought my worst nightmare was Dad who never loved me but not my mom whom I held so dear.’
‘Kate, wh….’ Catherine paused when she realised her daughter was really angry. Wilson just stared at them both.
‘You’ve caused me all these pains and emotional stress all in the name of motherly love. Come on Catherine i’m not even your daughter so for whatever reason you did all that is still weird.’
‘You don’t get to walk in in here and shout.’ Her dad cautioned.
Kate just ignored him and focused on her mom who couldn’t look into her daughter’s eyes.
‘I get it, you love me too much, then what! Do you have to drive all the men in my life away?’ She snarled with a weak tone.
‘Young woman, give your mom some respect.’
‘Respect?’ She glared at him.
‘Yes and get out already.’
‘This isn’t about you Dad so stop making things worse.’
‘
‘Gosh you are stubborn’ Her Dad muttered angrily.
‘I know i’m stubborn because you talk and I don’t listen but that doesn’t make you any angel from God. Did I ever complain to you about any of my boyfriends and how would you even know they are not good enough for me when you keep threatening and paying them off.’
Now Wilson was confused when he wasn’t sure Kate was referring to him or his wife.
Just then Nectar came in following the noise from outside. He actually drove on top speed when he got the door opened with a spare key. Though he was furious for being locked up, at that moment he needed to be a husband not a teacher.
‘Kat……’ Nectar tried to hold her back but she shoved his hands away and glanced at her mom again.
‘Somehow, Kate knew he would follow her whether she locked him up or not so she wasn’t surprised to see him at all.
“Is that what you use my money for? No wonder Dad doesn’t look after you like he should”.
Wilson glared at her and his eyes met with that of Nectar who signaled him to relax.
‘See, i’m leaving and don’t try anything funny with this one standing here or I will deal with you before you do.’ Kate said pointing to Nectar rudely.
She finally paused, took another stare at her mum who was just sitting quietly listening to her daughter rant over the mistakes she has done just to protect her.
‘And you Dad,’ She turned facing Wilson, ‘how could you hold this against her. So this was the reason she doesn’t want to leave but what did you threaten her with! Jail time or murder.’ Kate said pointing her finger in her dads direction harshly.
‘Lea….’ Wilson couldn’t finish his statement because Nectar gave him another long stare.
‘Now it’s in the open, allow the poor woman leave now. Or there is something else holding her here.’ Kate stormed out after that statement and Nectar followed immediately.
‘Kate wait, let me drive before you kill us both.’ Nectar said with concern.
‘Nectar, why did they treat me this way. I just wanted a father’s love, which I never got. I found that in my boyfriends, just for my mom to ruin it all.’
‘I understand but let’s go home first so we can talk about it.’
‘Do you know how hard it was for me to fall back in love and the men just wake up one day with excuses, you are not good enough, I have found someone else. It was never love; I just needed your money.’ She heaved a sigh of sorrow. ‘I woke up today and found out those excuses were plotted by my own mother, a woman I’ve been living my entire life for.’
Kate just fell in Nectars arms after that and there was silence for a while.
Nectar carried her back into the car after checking her pulse, which indicated everything was fine, then he fished out the car keys from her bag and drove out of the Santa mansion.
He was disturbed some few minutes into his drive and decided to call his sister.
‘Matt’s on your way back home, get someone to drive my car from the Santa Mansion. I’m driving Kate home who rushed out earlier to her mom’s and I had to quickly chase her up.’
‘Is she okay.’ Matt’s asked from the other side of the phone.
‘Not now but she will be.’ Nectar assured her. After some few hours of getting home since there was huge traffic on the road, Nectar was still waiting for his wife to wake up.
‘Saint,’ Matt’s called peeping through the small opening of the bedroom door.
‘Keep quiet and come in already Matts.’ Nectar said.
‘How bad is it?’ Matt’s asked when she got closer.
She is shattered and relieving the past all over again. Her mom keeps calling, here handle that because i’m not sure I can.’ Nectar said handing over to Matt’s his wife’s phone.
After a few more hours, they heard a sniffing sound and looked closely.
‘Finally you are awake.’ Nectar and Matts chorused. Nectar tried to touch her and she flared up.
‘Leave me alone. How do I know you haven’t been paid off as well. Get out of my way.’ Kate yelled.
‘Because i mar..ried you.’ Nectar tried to explain to her if he were paid off, he wouldn’t have married her.
Kate tried to look up at him but ended up eyeing Matt’s who didn’t realize she was standing in her way. She quickly gave Kate way. Matt’s knew that wasn’t the time to interfere and she understood when Kate needs her, she knows where to find her.
She found her dress hanged up. Kate quickly wore it and left both Matts and Nectar stunned. ‘Don’t try to stop me.’ She said and walked out on them to the main gate and got a cab.
She gave the driver the direction and they zoomed off before Nectar and Matt’s could rush down.
‘Really Saints?’
‘What?’
‘You couldn’t stop her from going out.’ Matt’s questioned.
‘You could have also stopped her.’ Nectar said scratching his head.
‘It’s high time you toughen up on her, else your marriage would be over before you even start.’ Matt’s announced and walked out on him.
Nectar slumped himself onto the couch and tried to think about what Matt’s said but he could only worry where his wife had gone to.
When Kate got to her destination after an hour she knocked on the gate which finally got opened after two minutes.
‘Drake please sort out the driver, I don’t have my purse on me.’ Kate announced after arriving at Drakes end. She knew it was a bad idea but she just wanted to get out of the house and that was the only place she had in mind.
Drake stared confusedly at both the driver and Kate, which he finally paid and closed the gate, ushering Kate in.

‘Are you just going to stare at me, at least get me something to eat Drake.’ Kate asked Drake who was standing in one corner watching her since she came in.
He regained his composure. ‘I would get you something just wait here.’ Drake finally found his voice and told Kate who just changed her position from sitting to lying on the couch.
She smiled and heaved a sigh of relief.
Drake looked back at her then brought out his phone while rushing into his kitchen. He contemplated on calling Matt’s but finally did.
‘Hello Matts, Sorry for bothering you by this time.’ Drake said on the other side of the phone to Matts when he excused himself earlier from Kate.
‘That’s okay, i was going to call you earlier in the morning myself.’ Matt’s revealed.
‘Look I don’t want trouble, come for your sister in law because I don’t know what kind of trouble she’s in but she is tempting me already.’ Drake said with worry.
‘Katie?’ Matt’s asked surprised.
‘Yes, she’s on my couch.’
‘Drake, thank you for informing me, I would come over to pick her up.’ Matts said still on the call.
‘Wait, tell me what her problem is because if she came here probably she wants me to advise her.’ Drake said.
After Matts narrated everything to Drake, he only sighed and offered to drive her over to the house. He served her with rice and vegetables while he went upstairs to get himself changed.
When he came back, she was whispering quietly to herself unawares.
‘Hey, do you need anything else?’ Drake asked Kate who had finished eating and went back to her lying position.
‘I’m okay. Thanks.’
Drake walked closer and sat down.
‘You haven’t told me anything and I don’t want to end up in jail for harboring a pregnant married woman. So talk to me.’
‘Why?’ She frowned.
‘You definitely came here because you know I can help. Should I call someone for you please?’ He asked scratching his jaw.
‘No don’t, and if you don’t want me here, I can go.’ Kate said instantly standing up.
‘Look Kate, i’m not asking you to leave, but you are married. How would you feel if Nectar had left home without a call over an argument? At least call the poor dude. He must be worried sick by now.’
‘Nectar?’ She murmured.
‘You know I love you, but whatever reason you came here for I cant do that.’ Drake said with calmness.
Kate found herself smiling now.
‘Chill Drake, I didn’t come here for you to sleep with me, I just wanted a place to cool down.’ Kate said.
‘That’s fine, but whatever it is, you need to go home to your husband. If I were in his shoes, I would be so worried by now. So please let me drive you home.’
‘I don’t want to go back now.’ She crossed her arms like a small girl.
‘Do this for me, I think whatever love I have for you I want to kill that now.’ Drake advised with emotions.
His statement struck Kate so hard and she wondered why he was reacting that way because most men would have taken her situation as their golden opportunity but there he was trying to get her back to her husband. Kate kept thinking for a while.
Her husband quickly flashed her mind and she immediately felt sorry for her actions earlier. Kate admitted to herself Nectar has been helpful the past few weeks and she was beginning to like him especially the sad look on his face when she told him not to stop her.
She smiled again with the thought of admitting she liked him now.
‘Kate are you with me.’ Drake tapped Kate on her shoulder.
‘Yes i’m here, we can go now. I think you are right and thank you so much.’ Kate finally came to her senses.
The drive back to her house with Drake behind the steering was very silent.
‘Drake i’m sorry, if I can’t love you back. I hope you understand but thank you for not taking advantage of me.’
‘Don’t worry Kate, its fine. I didn’t do this for you. I did it for Matts.’ Drake said without even knowing it.
‘Oh really! What’s that about?’ Kate asked smiling.
‘Nothing, she just threatened me not to touch you because she could throw me in jail.’ Drake said.
‘That’s not the Matts I know and it doesn’t sound like her but all the same, I hope we can still be friends somehow.’ Kate asked and Drake just nodded and drove on in silence again until they got to her house.
‘You want me to go in there with you Kate.’ Drake asked when she dropped Kate in front of her house.
‘No I think I just have to do this by myself.’ Kate said wisely.
‘Okay all the best, just apologize to your husband and don’t run your mouth wild. You are at fault here you know.’ Drake advised.
‘Yeah, i would be quiet Drake.’
‘Okay go on, I will wait here till you close the door behind you.’ Drake said and Kate gave him a smile.
She hesitated a while before opening the door.
‘Where do you think you are coming from by this time?’ Nectar sprung up from his sitting position towards Kate who was still hanging on to the door she came through earlier.
Nectar allow her settle down first.’ Matts said from where she stood since Drake texted they were on their way.
‘Matilda stay out of this because this friend of yours need to learn to give me some respect as her husband.’ Nectar said with anger.
Matt’s just smiled because she felt her earlier advise has worked.
‘I’m…….’ Kate tried to say and kept quiet.
‘Now I’m asking you for the last time, tell me where you went. You want me to be hard on you in this house right?’
She shook her head and Nectar wasn’t paying attention.
‘I have tried the softness, what haven’t I done but you can’t just think for yourself.’ Nectar said with anger. ‘What if something had happened to you and my children out there.’ Nectar asked this time moving towards Kate’s direction.
‘Please don’t hit me,’ Kate said covering her head with her hands, when Nectar wasn’t even close yet. ‘And i’m sorry, I left to Drake’s thinking I could just calm down before getting home. Please I know it’s wrong but i’m home now.’ Kate said almost in tears.
‘You see why your Mom had to intervene in every aspect of your life. You cant take care of yourself and she had to do that for you all the time.’
Kate frowned at the mention of her mom and Nectar noticed.
‘This should be your last time running off as if your ass is on fire.’
Matt’s frowned as she felt he was overreacting now. ‘Saint.’ She called softly and got ignored.
‘What happened to this house that you couldn’t calm down here and you run off to another man’s house when you knew his history with you. Kate, you are messed up, get yourself together then we can continue this marriage.’
Just then Matts interrupted again. ‘Saint that’s enough, let her be. You are the one ranting now, cant you see she is just quiet and apologizing with her whole being. Give her a break.’
‘I told you to stay out of it.’ Her brother looked back at her.
‘Katie come here,’ Matts offered dragging her from where she stood.
‘Matts stop pampering her because that’s what is getting into her head.’ Nectar said following them towards Matts bedroom.
‘I won’t let you keep disrespecting her either.’ Matt’s paused at a point and heard a heavy sigh from her brother.
‘If you enter that room, don’t bother coming back to your matrimonial bed because we are not done here yet.’ Nectar said when they got to the door.
Kate tried to retract her steps but Matts pushed her in, leaving Nectar out there.
He hit his leg on the door and went upstairs.

‘Here, you must be thirsty now!’ Matts said handing the glass of water to Kate who seem to be worried. ‘Katie, you know you were wrong.’ Matts said further!
‘But Matts nothing happened.’ Kate tried to clarify.
‘Katie, I know because I spoke with Drake but that hasn’t changed the fact that you were still wrong, you can’t keep running off all the time when an issue pops up.’
‘Okay, but what do i do now.’ Kate asked weakly.
‘For now relax and talk to Nectar tomorrow or maybe you can just go in there once he is asleep.’ Matts advised.
‘I think I will go in there when he has gone to bed.’
‘Okay but how do you plan to handle your mom? I need to know because Mandy can decide to take legal action against her. She is the reason he went to jail in the first place over false witnesses and evidence.’ Matts narrated using legal terms.
‘Look, whatever punishment she deserves, make it double.’
‘Huh!’ Matt’s exclaimed.
‘Yes, I don’t care anymore because she has caused me enough pain already. Her betrayal is more than been cheated on.’ Kate said sadly.
‘Katie that’s your Mom, she had genuine reasons for what she did to every man that came your way but she went about it wrongly.’ Matts advised.
‘So I should jump to her rescue again? Not this time Matts. Among all those men, do you want to tell me none of them were innocent? At least there should be one, who genuinely loved me and my mom just had to brainwash them all.’ Kate analyzed.
‘Maybe Andy, because so far he had no red flags as to whatever game the rest were playing with you.’ Matts said trying to make Kate see the bigger picture.
‘Yeah right.’ Katie muttered.
‘Catherine keeps calling, worried about you. Here she has left a lot of messages.’ Matts handed over Kate’s phone.
Kate hesitated before taking her phone, then she turned it off.
‘Thank you Matts, I will see you tomorrow.’
‘But i thought you would sleep here.’ Matt’s said tapping her side of the bed.
‘Let me try and talk to Nectar. Goodnight.’ Kate said and headed back to her room. She seemed to know what was right for her at that moment.
Matt’s smiled and seemed impressed.
Kate opened the door gently when she got upstairs and entered trying not to disturb her sleeping husband. She tiptoed to the washroom for a while then to her bedside. She was about to cover herself when Nectar spoke up.
‘When you are done sneaking around you can turn off the lights.’ Nectar said and she froze upon hearing his voice. There was silence after a while, then Kate spoke up.
‘I know I was wrong and i won’t try to justify what I did but I promise it wont happen again. Besides what do you expect me to do when everyone else in my life seems to be fake. I wont be surprised if my Personal assistant wakes up the next day and tells me he slept with my husband or my father.’
‘There you go again Kate.’
‘Nectar everything around me is just going the wrong way. Betrayals and secrets everywhere, I don’t know who to trust.’ Kate said crying now.
‘Come here.’ Nectar pulled her into his arms instantly. ‘You can trust me, Matts is there too. What else do you need?’ Nectar consoled.
‘I want the secrets to end; I want a normal life Nectar. God knows what else my parents are hiding from me and I can’t take another blow because it will destroy me.’ Kate said with emotions.
‘Then you have to prepare for it because life is such that you can’t always get it right. You need to understand that so you can move on.’ Nectar still had his hands all over Kate.
‘What are you saying?’ She asked wiping her face dry.
‘Nobody will do the moving on for you; you have to teach yourself how to be tough when troubles come your way. Your mom pampered you too much and that has clouded your actions but learn not to depend on others too much.’ Nectar paused while caressing her face.
Kate looked up and tried not to smile. She felt so comfortable in his arms.
‘Thank you.’ Kate sniffed. But does this mean you forgive me.’
Kate said and Nectar replied frowning. “No.”
‘You said some mean things out there this evening and I have forgiven you so you should forgive me or I take my forgiveness back.’ Kate said trying to make a joke. They kept talking till she drifted to sleep.
Nectar laid her back and watched her sleep for a while. He grabbed his phone and placed a call out to one of his contacts.
‘How is the investigation going, I need answers because this is taking too long and you know it.’
As if he didn’t like the answer he got, Nectar hanged up quickly when Kate rolled over to his sleeping space hence covering the whole bed. He smiled, kissed her forehead and then took over the couch.

Kate and Nectar seemed to have resolved all their issues. Though Nectar wished she could respond back when he tells her he loves her, he was also aware she needed time.
He drives her to work and Matt’s picks her up. Kate seemed to be enjoying herself with the pampering.
Before she left that morning to work, she hanged up on her mom several times when she called on Nectar’s phone.
They nearly fought over that and she drove to work angry while trying to avoid Nectar’s call all day.
Kate was still staring at her ringing phone on her table when her office door opened.
‘Miss Santa.’ Stacy called.
Kate flared up. “Stacy I told you just yesterday I’m married now. You still call me by that name again and you are fired.”
‘Emmm, i’m sorry.’
”Now what is that important thing you rushed all the way here instead of just buzzing me.’ Kate asked in a rather unfriendly tone.
“Your mom is at the reception.” Stacy managed to say.
“Tell her I’m not around.’ Kate said.
‘Mrs. Glover I did but she wouldn’t leave.’ Stacy replied with fear.
Kate looked up at her thinking she had left when there was silence.
‘What are you still standing there for; ask the securities to handle that.’ Kate said without a smile and Stacy rushed out crying.
She couldn’t even relay the information to the securities but quickly rushed out. Catherine on the other hand got tired and left.

‘Can we proceed now! I have changed my mind mom. I think tomorrow morning is the perfect time to hit as she will be going for antenatal.’ Stacy called her mom up after that small argument earlier with Kate.
‘Are you sure, she will be there this time around?’ Mom trust me.
‘I handle the bitch’s schedule.’ Stacy replied.
“What changed your mind my dear”. Stacy’s mom asked.
‘She just made me look incompetent for the first time.’
‘She’s really a bitch.’ Her mom muttered over the phone.
‘But please, don’t let her suffer too much. I do care about her final breathe. I just wish we don’t have to carry on with this.’ Stacy said regretting whatever she had planned for Kate.

‘Hello Mr. Glover,’ the deep voice from the other side of the phone mentioned with respect.
‘I’m listening.’
‘Sir I followed her as you asked! She is the one as you suspected, but there is no connection with you from the past. But there is something else you need to know.’ The detective mentioned to Nectar.
‘Yes detective!’ Nectar replied to announce his attention to the caller.
‘But Mr Glover, there is something else,’ the detective said again forgetting he had said that earlier.
‘What is it? Talk already.’ Nectar asked in a hurry because he just opened the door for his mother in law.
‘I thought you said Kate’s grand mom doesn’t stay in George town but I saw her during one of my stalking times.’ The detective said in a shocking manner.
‘Lets talk about this later, I have a guest, Nectar hanged up quickly to avoid his mother in law who came in earlier during the call to suspect anything at the mention of Jane.
Kate left her office earlier due to her mind struggling to accept many things. Besides she needed to talk to Nectar about the their argument in the morning. She walked into her house and met her mom happily chatting with Nectar.
Kate walked briskly and passed by rudely. Knowing very well all eyes were on her.
‘Kate don’t pretend you didn’t notice your mom sitting right here on your favorite couch.’ Nectar cautioned.
“So?” Kate asked rudely.
‘Don’t start another drama young woman.’ Nectar tried to put Kate in her place. He has been doing that a lot lately.
‘Sorry.’ She said and walked a step forward.
‘Please get back here and greet your mom. Whatever feud it is, you sort it out before you step upstairs.’ Nectar said.
‘Nectar that is not necessary, I just don’t want to face her now.’ Kate said shying away from her mom.
‘But she is here and can hear you so you must as well start the toughing up now.’ Nectar said reminding Kate of their other night talk.
Kate stood there indecisive for a few moments and walked closer. “Good afternoon, Catherine.” Kate said without a smile.
Her mom nodded and Nectar dragged her to sit beside him.
For what looks like no one was ready to talk, Nectar interrupted.
‘You ladies really need to drop your ego. It doesn’t look like any of you here was right.’ Nectar had to set the ball rolling.
He gestured Catherine to talk when Kate coiled herself back on the couch.
‘Kate I’m sorry but you should know I would do more than that over again until you come to your senses when choosing your men. Your stubbornness breaks my heart every second, and I just had to do something so you don’t waste your life.’ Catherine said without remorse.
‘Gosh, this woman i……’ Nectar quickly covered her mouth and she rolled her eyes.
Catherine found it funny so she smiled and continued.
‘Now I don’t have to do all that because you have finally found that special man and so far I like what I see here. Your submissiveness that is all I ever wanted.’
‘Nectar, i have to go.’ Kate said interrupting her mom.
‘Why?’
‘I don’t feel well.’ She said honestly but Nectar thought she was acting up again.
‘We talked about this Kate.’ He whispered and Catherine kept looking at them.
‘Okay, i’m doing this for you and not her.’ Kate stressed.
‘Good.’ He sighed.
‘Thank you Kate but trust me you would have had a tough one with each one of those men. I know what I did was wrong but paying them off and they gladly accepted, wass enough to tell me, they never loved you.’
‘So?’ Kate hissed silently.
‘I’ve carried that entire burden with your dad rubbing it in my face all the time when he wants something from me. Your silence right now is enough punishment for me and I’m sorry, can we start all over.’ Catherine said and paused.
There was a long silence suddenly and everyone was looking weirdly at each other.
Kate was deep in thoughts; she wasn’t touched by what her mom said at all.
Just then, Nectar whispered in her ears. “Say something, and then you can think about it later.” Nectar advised.
‘Okay Catherine, I will think about it. So you can go now because i have to rest.’ Kate said and watched her mom raise herself up sadly. Catherine was about to walk out when Kate stopped her.
‘Wait Catherine do you have any other secrets you think I should know about.’ Kate said avoiding her mom’s gaze while she was almost out of the door.
‘No baby, that is all!’ Catherine said almost choking on the rest of her words.
“For your sake I just hope so.” Kate cautioned her mom. Catherine walked out and for a moment her daughter thought she saw her wiping her eyes.
‘Kate hold on let me drop her home. She came with a cab.’ Nectar said.
‘Just give her some money she will find her way.’ Kate said still with anger.
Nectar shook his head. Kissed her bump and rushed out after Catherine.
Kate hissed and went straight to her room.

Kate couldn’t rest as she was still feeling unwell. She tossed on the bed and the thoughts of her mom was making matters worse. She picked up her phone and dialed her assistant’s number. She answered on the first beep.
‘Stacy you were not answering your call earlier. And you left the office without my knowledge, why is that?’ Kate asked her assistant in a rather worried tone.
‘Sorry Miss, I mean Mrs Glover, I had an emergency at home. Do you need me for anything?’ Stacy asked.
‘That’s fine Stacy, I just wanted us to talk about this morning. Sorry I lashed out on you. I had some personal problems and I took it out on you, forgive me!’ Kate pleaded with emotions in her voice.
‘Emmmm Mrs……’ Stacy was surprised her boss was apologising to her.
‘You know what take the rest of the week off and sort out that issue bothering you, you can return back to work when you are fine.’ Kate offered.
‘Mrs Glover, i’m fine so I can come to work, that’s not a problem.’ Stacy wanted to refuse for reasons known to her.
‘No Stacy, you have worked your whole life with me without an appreciation from me. Take it as an order from your boss. And I will send you some money once I finish with you here.’ Kate tried to be bossy.
‘Miss can I ask a question.’
‘Go ahead Stacy.’ Kate instantly replied to Stacy’s request. She couldn’t fathom why she’s so attached to that girl. Her investigations on her still was in the dark.
‘Why are you so good to me, I mean all I do is plan your schedules, fetch your coffee and you still pay me more than an ordinary PA should earn.’
‘What’s the question here Stacy?’
‘I know I don’t deserve it but why do you treat me different from the other workers.’ Stacy asked.
‘Well Stacy let’s just take it as I took a liking to you during that interview and I did some digging on you.’
‘And?’ Stacy’s heart skipped.
‘Stacy you just happen to be quite naive and sincere. That’s all.’ Kate finally paused and sighed.
‘But Miss hope whatever you found out is nothing bad.’ Stacy asked with an already heavy beating heart.
‘Stacy, that’s a story for another day. My husband is in now let me attend to him.’ Kate announced Nectar’s presence.
“Nice talking to you Mrs Glover”.
Stacy said and Kate hanged up while turning to Nectar who didn’t hesitate to draw her into his arms for a few minutes before releasing her.
‘How was she when you left?’ Kate managed to ask Nectar when he pulled a chair beside her in the dinning.
‘Stressed out Kate.’ Nectar replied sounding he was displeased with Kate’s actions earlier.
‘What else Nectar?’
“I’m hungry”, Nectar suddenly said to avoid the topic at hand.
‘Did you just ditch the topic at hand?’ Kate asked nectar.
‘Seriously I’m hungry.’ Nectar said again with a raised brows.
‘Okay, fine.’ Kate replied harshly! She hates it when things are not going her way.
They both went into the Kitchen so Nectar could help her fix his meal. Though Kate was giving him attitude in the Kitchen he finally got his meal while she left him and went upstairs.

An hour later, Kate came back to the dinning. ‘You are still not done eating, so we discuss what my mom told you?’ Kate sounded concerned.
‘Kate, what makes you think your mom told me anything.’ Nectar asked.
‘Nectar, you came in looking so funny and withdrawn as if I contracted some disease.’ Kate said.
‘Really Kate, you are so funny, you know that! Why do you always have to read meaning into my expressions all the time?’ Nectar asked.
‘Because you are unpredictable.’
‘This time around you are wrong my dear. Your mom on the other hand didn’t utter a word until we got home.’ Nectar said with pretense.
‘I don’t believe you Nectar but that’s fine, don’t let me find out.’ Kate stressed.
Nectar just managed a smile and shook his head while Kate retracted her steps upstairs.
