SAVE MY MOTHER Episode 16 – Samlex LOP
The joy I felt when I opened the message cannot be explained.
The message were three pictures and two short videos of my mom, she was still in the hospital but out of coma, the second video showed her sitting and talking to a doctor, I was overwhelmed.
I gave the phone to the guys and they all watched the video smiling, I took the phone watching the videos again and I just feel the need to finish up and be with her, “I will be home soon mom,” I said to the phone with a smile on my face.
“Time to get to work Matthew,” Peter said drawing my attention back to them.
They have opened the box but are yet to go through the contents of the box.
Michael picked up the flash drive that was on the file and plugged into the television in the room.
I took the remote and opened the flash drive and a picture of a man appeared who happens to be an influential person, we were confused seeing him on the screen then a voice came on narrating as it displays different pictures of the man in different gathering.
“This is Ademola Okonkwo ( not real name), an oil Mongol, but beneath the surface he is a drug lord and human trafficker, he is heavily guarded with well trained security personnels, your mission is to get evidence of his dealings both on hard and soft copy which will be released to the press and police and also stop the shipping of his victims three weeks from now, any other information you need will be in the box, this flash drive will self destruct in three, two and…,” Said the narrator and immediately we could see spark of light from where the flash drive was plugged and it melted into liquid dropping to the floor.
We were left in awl at what happened.
We dug into the files in the box to see other information about him, he has a wife with four kids, three girls and a boy, two of the girl are abroad while one of the girl is a university student in Lagos while the last boy was in secondary school. He has a side chick and a very sexy secretary, his location were all in the file but there was no clue of his shady business, that is what we have to find out.
“We are left with a difficult task in front of us, this will require both mental and physical effort,” said Peter, “we will need all hand on desk, we will need plan A, B, C and even D, let brain storm guys.”
We laid out all the files on the bed, we all stood over it, thinking cretically.
“We would need to get more information before we lay out a plan, we need to study his movements,” said John.
“His activities,” said Micheal.
“The people he meets,” said Peter.
“So that means we would be going back to lagos by dawn tomorrow,” I said.
We parked up everything ready to move out the next day.
