(tales of two lovers)
When Logan saw the puzzled look on my face, he moved his head back to his food and apologized
“I’m sorry if I was being annoying”
“it’s okay” I said and faced the floor, I can’t believe he just offered me to kiss him..
Classic Logan, I thought he hates me, or. Is he just playing me. .??
After breakfast, i cleared the table and washed the mugs and then dropped it in its respective place, I saw that our parents really tried In getting everything done, the kitchen was fabulous and everytime was just perfect, there was a mini fridge in the kitchen and it was loaded with different kind of food stuff, well good thing I learnt how to cook..
I went back to the room upstairs and I met Logan staring at window, I sighed and sat down on the bed, and he suddenly notices me and turned, he wanted to say something but he kept quiet and turned his gaze away.. And then laid down while I broke the silence occurring between us and trust me it was killing me..
I miss derrick!!

“Logan!” I called
He suddenly turned and arched an eyebrow at me
“how do you spend your Sunday” I asked
“I don’t really, know actually, I just stuff my face in popcorn and watch TV all day I think” he replied
“I can’t actually watch movie without my movie buddy” I said while he scoffed
“movie buddy? Who’s that” he asked
“Derrick!” I replied truthfully and he laughed
“wow you just can’t get enough of that boy”
“what is that supposed to mean” I snapped at him
“I mean he’s your bestfriend and your movie buddy, you know it doesn’t work that way” he said sitting upright
“yeah,right” I said sarcastically..
“seriously you can always have a new movie buddy” he said and flashed me a smile I could have sworn I saw a dimple
“like who? ” I said and sit up also
“like me! ” he said and smiled again.. Okay I’m not used to this smile, but I’ll take it..
“no thanks” I said
He rolled his eyes and said “your loss”..
I huffed and stood up
“if you’d excuse me I’ll be downstairs watching TV on my own” I said heading out the door
“you can’t watch movies without your movie buddy!!” he yelled from inside as I was already going down the stairs and I couldn’t help it but smile,
But wait why am I smiling,

As I switched on the TV, I was thrilled to hear the bell ringing, who could that be,
I walked to the door and opened it and I almost screamed.. It was Derrick I quickly threw my arms around him and gave him a sisterly hug..
“I missed you” I mumbled In his shoulder and he chuckled
“I miss you too, princess” he said and disengaged the hug coming in while I close the door, he starts to look around admiring every piece of the house and I couldn’t help the stupid grin that Laid on my face..
“so how did you get to know this place” I said and sat down on the couch, and gestured him to come sit with me..
“for starters you know there’s your mom, your dad and your grandma any of them can’t resist to tell me” he said and I smiled I rolled my eyes..
He leaned closer to me and whispered in my ear “how’s Mr Brown doing, hope he isn’t doing anything to piss you off or annoy you cause I’ll totally rip his head off”
I laughed and shook my head saying “thanks for caring but, he’s way too nice Now than I could ever imagine and trust me, it’s kind of awkward and weird but I prefer it”
“good” he mumbled and I laughed
“what?” he asked
“what? ” I asked back
“why did you laugh” he asks and I realised i did laughed and laughed
“no it’s just so cute when you try to act all serious and protective around me” I said and ruffled his hair … He removed my hand from his hair and said “watch the hair” and then Smoothed it..

“I was also planing to watch a marathon of KC undercover, care to join” I said and arch an eyebrow
“I’d prefer fast and furious” he said and rested his head on the couch..
“this is why choosing you as my movie buddy was a wrong idea” I teased and sighed playfully
“like there was anyone else you could choose” he said sarcastically and rolled his eyes..
“there is” I said defensively
“okay who?” he asks and fold his arm..
“there’s Logan” I said and a pained look suddenly flashed on his face but he suddenly wore it off.. Speaking of Logan, he stared to come down the stairs and Derrick gave me a worried look..
Seeing derrick Logan mood changed but he sighed and I know he forced out a smile..
“hey Derrick, good to see you” he said and walked inside the kitchen
“did he.. Just..
“yep, that’s the new Logan” I said and derrick smiled and said .. “I like the new Logan” While I just shrugged,
Logan’s trying to be friends with me and now Derrick, but wow that must have taken a lot of guts … Maybe he wasn’t who I think he was before.. Huh! So nice of him..
“wait here, while I get us lemonade there’s some In the fridge” I said and stood up walking In the kitchen,
I met Logan staring at the cup of coffee he held, “thanks” I said snapping him out of his reverie,
“oh Uhm.. What?” he jerked looking at me..
“thanks” I repeated and smiled
“for what, exactly?” he asked
“for being nice to Derrick, I know you guys are going to be perfect friends and so as you and i” I said and he turned his gaze away then at me
“yeah, sure, but just know you’re not my friend Lia, you’re my wife don’t pretend you don’t know that when the whole world knows” he said and took a sip from his coffee..
“whatever” I said and tucked some strands of hair behind my ear, he smiled while I walked to the fridge and brought out the glass jar of lemonade, I poured the lemonade in two glass cups and set them carefully on the tray,
“so care to join us to watch tv” I offered while he nodded and said “wouldn’t miss it, go ahead I’ll join” he said and I poured one more glass of Lemonade before hearing to the living room..
“the first episode is over” derrick announced
“what!” I said and dropped the tray,
” I was just joking you spent like fifty nine hours in the kitchen, what were you doing in there” he asked
“ohh….just making new friends” I smiled
I sat down beside him and we started the TV series.. Few minutes later Logan joined us, sitting beside me making me in between him and Derrick..

Derrick finally left after the three of us had lunch which I made and I couldn’t be more glad.. I was happy,
After giving Derrick a goodbye hug and him telling me he’ll see me in school tomorrow, I sighed I almost forgot I go to school ..

I glanced at the wall clock and it was 5:40pm, I went back to the room and sat down sat on a bean bag chair, at the edge of the bed,
And I suffered wonders where Logan went to..
Just thinking of him he walked inside and plopped on the bed,
“thanks for today you guys made my day” Logan said
“I should be the one thanking you” I smiled and i could hear him chuckle
“okay then don’t thank me and make it up to me” he said and I could imagine him smile at that cause I couldn’t see him I was on the floor and he was on the bed..
“what do you mean” I asked
“don’t thank me just make up for it instead of thanking me, just make me your movie buddy” he said and I Laughed..

“movie buddy, really? If that’s what you want then fine” I said and I could sense he was smiling,
I really love that we’re getting along real fine I expected us to be shouting at each other now, but he just changed all of a sudden or maybe he’s like this before I don’t know..
During nighttime, after dinner and all, we both laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling with everywhere real quiet,
Assuming he’s someone I know, or he’s someone I dated and got Married to, the air won’t be as tensed as this one.. I quickly switch off the light and then heard Logan sighed, I could feel as he scoot closet to me and i stiffened.
He turned to me and in my ear he said “do you hate me” he Said his breath warm and smelled like the chocolate we just had for dessert. ..earlier
“of course I don’t, why would I hate you” I said and turned to him
“because I’ve been a jerk” he added and I was almost lost when his breath took on over my face
“well you kind of have been, but it’s okay actually ,it’s perfectly fine” I said smiling even though he couldn’t see me as the room was dark..
I ruffled his hair like I always do to Derrick but he just laughed and said “hey my hair is the first most important thing In my body”
“you are such a cliché” I said laughing and rolling my eyes, he’s suddenly acting like derrick even just spending only half a day with him..
“I’m not, well let’s sleep there’s school tomorrow” he said and I nodded and said “sure”
I felt his hand on mine and he clutched our palms together, “can we sleep this way?” he asked sympathetically,
“why not!” I smiled
“you’re my husband’ anyway” I added and burst Into laughter
“you’re right that’s so weird to say” I said still laughing ,
We both shared a great laugh before falling asleep and I could say, our friendship is really paying off..
That night we both slept peacefully with our hands clutched together and with smiles on our faces”
