Queen mother the only way to eliminate her is through the help of a human! A human? But how white witch? Mariah is in love with a human and it’s a taboo for a mermaid to fall in love with a human.
So the only way to get her is by using what she valued the most, with that she will throw away the hairpin and return back to the human world.
Queen Lucy: White witch how do you think this idea of yours will work, remember the prophecy that no harm must befall her else repercussion will be disastrous.
White Witch: With the help of the crystal, we can manipulate him to come over to the sea, use that opportunity to kidnap him. You’re going to fed him with lies about Mariah.
So they planned on getting the hairpin through Derick, what they don’t no is that; whoever is in love with Mariah must be protected with the help of that crystal no manipulation shall work on him.
Derick couldn’t stop thinking about Mariah to the extent he’s parents and siblings found out, that Derick was in love with someone. But the question is who since they haven’t seen him with anyone. Derick stop fishing ever since he set he’s eyes on Mariah but always going to the sea to met her.
There bound grew stronger.
Derick: Mom is true I have some one I really love but I have not yet tell her how I feel about her, I am afraid if she will accept me
Derick Mom : Don’t worry she won’t reject you even if I haven’t seen her I no she is a good person and I will like to see her as soon as possible
Derick: (thinking) hope mom will accept her when she found out she is a mermaid

Derick: Nothing mom ,I need to be on my way.
Derick went to the sea and place the crystal into the water all of a sudden a very flasher lights came out from the crystal and head to where Mariah is sitting down in her chamber. He’s calling me I need to sneak out to the surface, she sneak out from the sea to the surface on getting their the lights stopped. They saw each other and embrace each other a tight hug .
Derick: Mariah I want to tell you something
Mariah:Go ahead, I also have something I want to tell you .
Derick: I love you Mariah
Mariah: I love you too
But how will our parents accept the fact that we are in love with each other ,they both looked at each other and say but we have to tell them somehow.
After two weeks of dating she was about to sneak to the surface as usual when Marina saw her and became Jealous and angry.
Why will it be Mariah everytime, none of th Merman find interest in me, always getting close to Mariah, I think I’ll follow her and find out what’s she’s up.
Mariah swim to the surface not knowing that her twin sister was following her. She got there but couldn’t see Derick. But the crystal was on the ground, it was then Mariah sensed that there’s danger. But why could her have dropped this, these the only thing that can protect now!
Marina got back to the Oceania before her twin sister and reported what she saw to her mother, who didn’t take it lightly with Mariah immediately she got back.
