Baby Husband Final Part 2 – Mary Ogun’s

*A week later*

After several pleas from my mom and dad to forgive my husband, I forgive him with a condition to join for counseling without telling his mom

“My husband is a baby trapped in an adult body if I didn’t give him that condition, He’s going to tell his mom”

.

.

“So childish” I groaned and My dad gave me a stern look

“I told my mom that you want to setup a business and she told me not to allow you that you’re better off being a housewife” He confessed, scratching his neck

“Huh?” I grabbed his left ear and twisted it while he yelp in pain

“Leave your husband alone” my dad intervened and I shook my head negatively

“Dad, That was supposed to be our top secret and he leaked it out” I aimed to punch him and he dodged it

“A_a_am sorry, I didn’t mean to… It don’t_

“Stop talking jor or I will cut that mouth for you” I sneered giving him an empty threat and he shivered in fear

“Stop scaring him” my dad chuckled and I snorted

“B_ba_baby, You know I love you” He held my hand and I almost blushed, I said “almost”

“Don’t baby me, Am still angry” I frowned though am melting inside

“Should I kiss you to melt your heart then?” He said shamelessly and my dad cleared his throat

“Typical Nigerian parent” I rolled my eyes mentally

.

.

I entered our matrimonial home with my husband trailing behind me with my box.

“Ehhn, what’re you doing here?” My mother in law said as she sighted me

“In my husband’s house abi who are you talking to?” I asked then I sighted one dark lady sitting comfortably on my chair and I frowned

“Omo mhi, You’re back” my mother in-law embraced my husband and I snorted

“Mama, Who’s she?” I asked hoping it’s not what am thinking cos this woman is capable of doing anything

“Omo mhi, Come and meet your new wife jare” She said and pushed me off while dragging my husband’s hand

“WHAT?” My husband and I said aloud

“I don’t understand” My husband said, shock written on his face which shows he knows nothing

“This is your new wife”

I stared at my mother in-law in disbeliefand the way my husband is calm about it scare me.

“Let’s sit” My husband said calmly and it seems I heard wrongly

“Omo mhi, I know you will like her… She will be pregnant in three weeks time” My mother in-law said and My husband smiled

“Why are you smiling?” I asked him and blinked back my tears

“Calm down na” He mumbled and I breath in and out

“Mom, I want to ask you a question” He said

“Oyaa, Moungbo e (Am listening)” My mother in-law said with a smirk

“When you and my father got married, Did your mother in-law comes to visit you often?” He asked

“Not at all, It ws only me and my husband even when I gave birth t you and your sister, She will come to spend three days and leave” She explained

“Did your mother in-law frustrate or order you arnd?” My husband asked

“No, She’s not living with us so it ain’t possible” She said and I smiled

“Did your mother in-law gave my dad another wife to marry?” He asked again

“No, She didn’t” She replied

“Did_

“Ewo gan ni(What’s it)?” My mother in-law cut him off

“Why are you questioning me?” She raised her voice

“Bcos I don’t want to see you here again” He said and I gasped

“Ehhn?” My mother in-law’s eyes widened

“I don’t want to see you here again, Act the way your mother in-law did and stop complicating my marriage, I can handle my home… Am nt a baby” He gritted

“Haaa, Ur wife jazz u to send me away abi?” She cried out and I was tongue-tied

“Nobody jazz me, You’ve made her suffer emotionally”

“You can’t do this to me, I gave birth to u” she said

“Don’t use that on me, Ko le work” He said

“If u love and respect me as your son u will leave, I will be be checking on you”

“Take your wife along,You can give it to dad as a gift” He said harshly

“That’s harsh” I said and he shrugged

“Bby, Let’s go inside”He lifted me up

“I promise I won’t let anybody come btwn us again”He said and kissed me

“I love u”

“I love you more than u do” He said
