?Anel’s POV?

Balls of fire rolled out of it coming directly to us.

“Noooooo!” I screamed expecting to feel the pain of the fire on my body but i felt cold instead,i felt wet,i was floating,my nose and ears was being covered by someone.
I couldn’t open my eyes,all i could hear is the sound of bubbles.

?I’ll be back? I heard Felia’s deep voice faintly.

My body started moving upwards and my legs were flapping in the water.
I’m not a good swimmer…Dan must be the one helping me.

My head was suddenly out of the water but my whole body was still in.
Dan removed his hand from my ear and nose and i finally had the chance to breath properly.

“Open your eyes Anel” He said and i did.
I looked around and saw that we were inside the lake,only our heads were up.
“Dan” I called with ragged breath.
“Huh?” He answered,his eyes were red.
“What just happened?” I asked.
“Let’s go over to the edge” He said and it was then i knew that he was holding me.

I should better learn how to swim.

We both got to the edge of the lake and sat, our legs dipped into the water.
My jumpsuit was damn wet and my my hair was sticking to my cheeks.
I shivered as cool breeze hit my face and body.

“What just happened?” I asked again.
I was expecting us to have died but here we are or;

“Dan! Are we ghosts!” I screamed and he laughed.
“Of course not. We’re not ghosts” He said.
“Then what just happened? I know Felia sent fireballs to us, how did we survive it?” I asked.
“Well,i jumped into the water and dragged you along before the fireballs could get to us” He said and i gasped.

“How did you manage to do that ?” I asked.
“What? It was nothing difficult,that was the only thing i could do at that moment ” He said.
“I mean,you were swimming and also covering my nose and ears with your hands, how?” I asked.
“Well…i applied a rare swimming method” He said.
“That was great” I said amusingly.

“Thanks,but we can’t be discussing that now. Felia said she’ll be back” He said worriedly.
“Yeah,i heard that too. I don’t know what to do anymore cause it seems she’s now monitoring our every move. I’m scared” I said.
“Don’t be scared,solution is the next thing we should look for” He said.
“She’ll keep appearing whenever we try to look for a solution. OMG! Let’s get out of here” I said and quickly stood up.
Dan also stood up and we both ran towards the cabins.

“She might just appear to us there” I said as we approached my cabin.
“And what makes you think she won’t appear to us here?” He asked.
“I believe our necklaces is around here,it will be inside one of the cabins,it should protect us” I said and he nodded.
“So when do we start the necklace search?” He asked.

“Are we going on adventure today?” I asked.
“Of course we are” He said.
“Then we won’t go with them” He said.
“Why?” He asked.
“Dan like seriously? You’re thinking of going on adventure when we’re in this deep shit?” I asked.

“Don’t get me wrong Anel,i didn’t mention that . I only asked for the reason you said so” He said.
“Is Felia not enough reason to skip adventure. Anyway,my main reason is that once everyone leaves, we’re gonna search their boxes one after the other” I said.

“What!” He exclaimed and stopped walking.
“Yeah” I said and stopped walking too.
“The students boxes are up to hundred” He said.
“Ofcourse i know,well be very fast with it,we search and move to the next one. It’ll be faster with the both of us working together” I said and he nodded.
“No problem with that but do you think the people that exchange our necklaces will leave it in their box?” He asked.
“Yeah, stolen items are usually hidden” I said.

“Okay,you have to go take a warm bath,you’re cold” He said and i nodded.
“You should go take one too” I said.
“Okay,see you after everyone is gone” He said.
“You’ll come to my cabin right?” I asked and he nodded.
“Bye” I smiled and started walking towards my cabin.

I turned and saw him still standing.
“Go have your bath,you stink” I said playfully to him, he laughed and turned towards his cabin.
I smiled and watched his back disappear into the direction of his cabin.

I opened the door to my cabin and walked in.

They are all fully dressed and done with their breakfast,mine was placed on the bed.
“Asanel,where have you been?” Ashlyn asked.
“Plus your cloth and hair is wet” Theresa said.

“Yeah,i was in the lake” I said.
“Ohh … With Dan right?” She asked and i nodded.
“Are you guys dating?” Ashlyn asked and i saw Jacq quickly turned to me.
“No we are not, we’re just close friends” I said.
“Really?” They both asked.

“Yeah” I said and smiled when i saw Jacq grinned widely.
“He’s still gonna ask you out,that feeling between you two can’t be denied” Theresa said.
“He already did” I said and laughed when i saw Jacq’s face fused together.

“OMG! Really?” Ashlyn smiled and i nodded.
“Did you say yes?” Theresa asked.
“I didn’t” I said and walked to my bed.
I heard them gasp.
“Why?” Theresa asked, looking disappointed.

“I wish i was in your shoes” Ashlyn said dreamily.
“That’s the reason it’s a ‘wish’ ” I said and opened my box.
“You should hurry, we’ll be leaving on another adventure soon” Theresa said and i nodded.

I selected a pink mini gown with black pop-socks, I grabbed my toothbrush and paste before walking into the bathroom.
I hung my clothes on the rail beside my body towel before heading to the sink to brush my teeth.

Why should i still wear this fake thing!
It isn’t even sparkling a bit.
So fakeeeee!
I can’t wait to get my real necklace back..

I walked out of the shower and grabbed my towel.
I started drying my body.

“Asanel we’re about leaving” I heard Theresa said from the room.
“Okay,I’ll join you soon” I said.
“Should i inform Mrs Claude that we need to wait for you” she asked.
“No..no,I’ll come join you guys” I said.
“Okay bye and you are free to make use of my hair dryer” Ashlyn said.
I smiled…i think it’s nice to have friends.
“Thanks,bye” I said.

I heard the door close.

I should go dress up in the room then .
I wrapped the towel round my body and then picked my clothes before walking out of the bathroom.
I dropped my clothes on the bed just beside my breakfast tray and continued drying my body.

I picked my body lotion and applied it smoothly on my skin.
I started dressing up and in five minutes i was done.
I need to dry my hair.

I walked to Ashlyn’s bed and picked the hairdryer she left there for me.

I walked back to my bed and plugged it into the socket.
I switched it on and started drying my hair.

“Seems you need my help” I heard dan said, startling the hell out of me.
I switched off the socket before turning to him.

He stood by Jacq’s bed,dressed in a blue t-shirt and white shorts,seems he just finished bathing and didn’t even dried his body before putting on his clothes and coming here,he gat sexy hairy legs though.
His hair was still wet,looking more curled,some strands fell on his forehead.

I released the breath i didn’t even know i was holding.

Dan is damn handsome.

“You startled me” I finally said to cover my nervousness.
“Ohh.. really? You thought it was Felia” He laughed.
“Com’on,stop calling her name, aren’t you afraid?” I asked.
“I’m not,cause according to what you said,the necklaces will be in one of the cabins so we’re protected already,we don’t need to be afraid” He said.

“True” i said.
“I saw Vie while she was coming to your cabin to call you,i told her we’ll join them soon so she left” He said.
“Have you been here for long?” I asked.
“Yeah,since you plugged that dryer” He said.
“You’re starting to scare me” I said.
He laughed.
“How come i didn’t heard the sound of the door when you came in” I said.
“The sound coming from the dryer didn’t let you to” He said.

“Ohhkay, no one gat hair dryer in your cabin? Why’s your hair still wet?” I asked.
“Well..Travis has one but i didn’t even bothered to ask”
“Of course” I said.
“You’ve not had your breakfast” He said walking closer to me.
“I will, after I’m done with my hair” I said.
“Let me help you with it” He said and bent beside me,he took the hairdryer from me and turned on the socket.
He started drying my hair.

That damn feeling that normally claim my heart whenever I’m close to him returned and I loved it.
I feel like hugging him tight.

“Do you remember the day you helped me dry my hair in your room?” He asked and i nodded.
“Yeah,the day you were wet like a poor chicken” I laughed.
“You were a real psycho then and i was praying hard you won’t hit the dryer on my head” He said and i laughed.

“Seems everyone has gone” I said observing the huge silence.
“I’m done with your hair” He said about to switch off the socket.
“Don’t switch it off yet,i want to help you dry yours too” I said.
“Ohh… I’ll be glad” he smiled and brought his head closer.

“I hope you dont mind if i hit it hard on your head?” I teased, holding my laughter.
“Ahh!” he said,and quickly removed. his head from my grip.
I laughed so hard…
“Com’on i was only teasing” I said still laughing.

“I’m not drying my hair anymore” He said and i laughed harder .

I was eating while he talked to his dad on the phone.

?Okay Dad. You wanna talk to her?” I heard him say into the phone.
He glanced at me.
“D..Dad wants to speak to you” He said.
“I don’t want to speak to him” I said.
He sighed.

?Dad,I’ll call you soon” He said and disconnected the call.
I continued eating without glancing his way.

“I’ll be done soon, then we can start searching” I said.
“Okay” He said.

“I’ll start searching from my cabin” I said.
“Okay,I’ll also go start searching from my cabin” He said and walked out of my cabin.
It seems he’s pissed that i didn’t talk to his dad.

Like… he expected me to?

I packed my hair in a high ponytail before drawing Ashlyn’s box closer.
I started searching.

“Ahh!,I’m so exhausted” I said after searching the 50th cabin.
I stretched before walking out of the cabin.

I wonder how many cabins Dan has searched.
There are hundred cabins here,50 goes to the boys and another 50 to the girls. I already finished searching the girls cabins but couldn’t find anything relating to our necklaces.

What if we don’t find it?
Then Felia will kill us.
Oh..no!

I stood outside and waited for Dan.
I hope he finds it.
The cool breeze helped cool my nerves a little.

“Anel” I heard and turned to see Dan approaching.

“Did you find anything?” We asked at the same time.
“No” we said together and we both laughed at how funny it sounded.

He got to me.

“You mean you didn’t find anything?” He asked.
“Yeah,i didn’t. I searched the boxes and even the nooks and crannies of the cabins” I said tiredly.
“Same here” He said.
“That means the necklaces are not in any of the cabins,the person who stole it has taken it along for adventure” I said.

“What are we gonna do next?” He asked and checked his wrist watch.

“2:30pm” He said.
“Wow! We spent a whole lot of time searching the cabins and we couldn’t even find what we were searching for” I said unhappily.
“It’s fine,trust me we are gonna get out of this shit soon” Dan said and smoothened my hair.

I looked into his eyes and that alone assured me.

I returned his smile and wrapped my hands round him.
He kissed my hair and placed my head on his broad chest.
He gat an amazing body for a 16 year old.

Awwn…I can stay this way forever.

“Where could our necklaces be?” I said worriedly.
“It’s worn around someone’s neck” He said.
“Our necklaces are not in any of this ca..” I was saying but suddenly stopped when i realised something.

I gasped and removed my head from Dan’s chest.

“What?” He asked.
“Our necklaces are not in any of the cabins,that means we’re not safe from Felia. S..she can appear any minute” I said in fear.
“OMG! That’s true” Dan said.

“What shou…”
“Let’s runnnn” I shouted and we both took to our heels running to only where God knows.

I was panting heavily when we’ve gotten half of the way.

“Sorry” he said.
“Thanks” I said.
“Get on my back” He said.
I did so without hesitating.
I’m damn tired and exhausted.

“We found them” He said and i raised my head from his back.
“Thank goodness” I smiled seeing the students and teachers.

We quickly went to join them.

“You mean you saw Jacq with my necklace?” I asked Ashlyn who nodded.
“Why didn’t you tell me immediately?” I asked.
“I thought she was only checking out your necklace and i didn’t bother when i saw it back on your neck the next morning,but today i saw her hiding the exact replica of the necklace in her palm,she was putting it on while we were on adventure but she quickly removed it immediately she saw you and Dan approaching so i thought it’s best to tell you” She said.
“Damn!” I exclaimed,i can’t believe Jacq was the one who exchanged my necklace.

“Thanks Ashlyn” I said and barged back into the cabin,i met Jacq resting on her bed.

“Jacq!” I yelled and she quickly sat up.
“What’s with the yell?” She hissed.
“Where’s my necklace?” I asked and could read the shock in her eyes.
“I’m not with your necklace” she said.
“What’s going on?” Theresa asked, getting up from her bed.
Ashlyn also came in.

I felt more furious when i saw the necklace on her neck.
She even had the gut to put it on!
I drew her up from her bed.

“You’re a bitch!” I fumed trying to unhook my necklace from her neck but she wasn’t letting me.
“Asanel,but that’s your necklace on your neck” Theresa said trying to separate us.
“It’s not my necklace,this is a fake one. Jacq exchanged my necklace” I said.
“Jacq is that true?” Theresa asked but she didn’t say a word.

“Give me back my necklace now!” I yelled not wanting to cut it off her neck and not wanting to hit her.
“I won’t!” She said breathing heavily.
“Give me back my necklace now!” I repeated.
“What’s wrong with you both?” Theresa asked.

“This is my necklace, Jacq you’re a real bitch” I said angrily.
“Asanel,i think you should look at your neck,there’s this same necklace on your neck. I guess you’re mistaken” Theresa said.

“No,I’m not! She exchanged my necklace” I said and walked into the bathroom.
I scooped some water into a bowl and returned back to the room but i found her gone.

Damn!

I walked out of my cabin and hurried to Dan’s.

“Dan” I called knocking the door.
The door opened and he appeared.
“Dan,I’ve found my necklace” I said.
“Really? Where?” He asked.
“You wanna know who exchanged my necklace right” I asked.
“Yeah”
“Jacq did! Your bitchy friend did!” I fumed.
“Jacq?” He said in disbelief.
“Yeah and she doesn’t wanna give it back” I said.

“Like seriously?”
“Yeah and i can’t find her in the cabin anymore do you know where karissa’s cabin is?” I asked.
“No” He shook his head.

I ran my hand through my hair and sighed.

“Take it easy Anel” He said.
“Dan,i just can’t take this. Jacq is so evil,she’s capable of murder. How could she?” I fumed.
“I’m also surprised,i didn’t know she could do that. Let’s go report this to the teachers” He took my hand and started leading me to the teachers cabin.

We got there and walked in.
I was surprised to find Jacq,Karissa and Travis sitting opposite Mr Jones,our necklaces were laid on the table.
“That’s my necklace!” Dan said.
“OMG!”

“Why are you both here? You followed them here to collect their necklaces?” Mr Jones asked.
“Mr Jones,those are our necklaces not theirs” Dan said.
“This is their necklaces,they said you both want to collect it from them cause you found out it shines” He said.

What!

I hate this teacher but now i think i need to talk.

“Sir! Excuse me,they lied to you. Those are our necklaces” I said and felt like hitting the hell out of someone here.
“These are your necklaces? and yet this same necklaces are on your neck,i think you both are lieing instead” He said.

“It was exchanged! we’re not telling lies. This is just so frustrating. Our lives is at stake here!” I yelled.
“That’s a lie Mr Jones,this necklace belongs to me while this one belongs to Travis” Jacq said pointing them out.
“How could you give me a fake one!” Karissa scoffed at Jacq.

“Sir,just sprinkle water on the necklaces,it’s gonna sparkle. Dan and anel saw that and that’s the reason they want to collect it from us” jacq said and i couldn’t hold my anger anymore.
I pulled her hair and she screamed in pain but i didn’t let go.
“Anel please let her go” Dan pleaded and tried to remove her hair from my grip but i didn’t let him.
I held on tightly.

“What’s happening! Com’on let go of her hair” Mr Jones yelled and at that moment,i knew he’ll be biased with his judgement.
He hates me so he won’t judge in my favour but I’m ready to fight this out.

I let go of jacq’s hair.

“You both are wearing this same necklaces on your necks and you’re claiming the ones on the table,you expect me to believe you?” He asked.
“What we’re saying is that our necklaces got exchanged,the ones on our necks are fake! We are the real owners of the ones on the table. Please believe us” Dan said.

“Well…what’s your proof?” He asked.
“Someone can testify to this! Ashlyn can testify to this. I’ll go call her now” I said and turned to leave.

“Come back here! You think I’ll allow you go call that girl so you can tell her what to say on the way right?” Mr Jones said.
“Another person should go call her then” Dan said.
“This necklaces are not yours! I’m not giving it to you” Mr Jones said, pissing me off.

“You don’t behave like a good teacher should” I snarled.
“Ofcourse i know you to be a very rude girl” He said crossly.

He picked a bottle of water on his table and poured it on the necklaces.
It sparkled brightly and my heart beat faster.
I’ve missed my necklace.

“Wow!” Mr Jones exclaimed and quickly picked the necklaces.
He stared at them lovingly and then smiled.

“You all should leave,I’m not giving any of you this necklaces back” he said and stood up, dipping the shiny necklaces in his pocket.
“But sir..”Jacq was saying but i didn’t allow her finish talking before landing a slap across her face.

She caused this!

I was about hitting more slap before Dan held me back.
Mr Jones already turned to leave a..and i ..i saw;

My heart was stuck in shock for a moment.
“D..Dan” I called slowly.
“Huh?” He asked.
“T.. the tattoo” I said pointing to Mr Jones neck.
“What!” He exclaimed.

Mr Jones was so obsessed with the necklaces that he didn’t even know what was going on.
“Dan.. he’s the one who hurt you” I said,still in shock.

He walked out of the cabin with Jacq, Karissa and Travis trailing behind him.

“He’s the perpetrator” Dan gasped.
“I thought as much!” I said reminiscing over the familiar fragrance.
“He’s the one” I said.

“How could Mr Jones hurt me? I never offended him” He said.
“I’ve always hated him from the start,i knew something wasn’t just right about him” I said.
“This is unbelievable, is he really the one?” Dan asked.
“Of course he is. Everything is just making sense to me now” I said and sat down.
I couldn’t stand any longer.

“I knew the perpetrator was from our school but i never thought it to be Mr Jones. This is..this is completely absurd” He said.
“Yeah,it is. If i was the one he did that too,I’ll understand and get the fact that he did that because he hates me but you! What’s the connection between you two?” I asked.
“I don’t know!” Dan said, looking hurt.

“What do we do?” I asked.
“I’ll make sure he gets sued, i will” He said and started fetching his phone from his pocket.

“Com’on Dan” I stopped him.
“I could have died” He said.
“Yeah i know but do you think it’s okay to get him arrested now? Here? We need to chill” I said.
“Anel,you can imagine the pain i went through pain, for days” He said.
“I know” I said and rubbed his shoulder trying to calm him.
“Good thing we now know the identity of the perpetrator,we just have to keep mute about it for now until we get back home” I said.

“Why do we have to wait till we get back home? I can just call my dad now and he’ll send down cops here” He said.
“I know but remember our necklaces are still with him. We need to get that first! Have you forgotten Felia, she’ll be back and i know her coming back means death to us. We need our necklaces and that’s what we should focus on now,any other thing can wait till we get home” I said.

“Ahh!” He sighed and brushed back his hair with his fingers.
“What are we gonna do?” I asked.
“We should get our necklaces back of course” He said.
“How? Mr Jones won’t give it back to us,he already knows that the necklaces do shine and he’s a greedy nincompoop” I said angrily and Dan laughed.

I was forced to laugh too.

“That was what Jacq and co also discovered before they exchanged our necklaces with fake ones. I still can’t believe they’ll do this..i mean Jacq and Karissa” He said.

What if i had told him that Jacq and Karissa are responsible for those silly messages.

“How are we gonna get back our necklaces?” I asked.
“Sincerely, i don’t know cause it’ll be damn hard to get those things from Mr Jones,he’s capable of murder and i don’t want us to risk our lives. We can’t fight this alone Anel” He said.

“We’re fighting this alone Dan. We’re capable. We just need time to plan things out” I said.
“By risking our lives?” He asked.
“If we don’t risk our lives for those necklaces, we’ll die eventually” I said.

“Ah! I can’t believe we’re facing so much at sixteen!” He breathed deeply.
“It’s fine, we will overcome it soon” I said.
“Should we call Liam to help us get the necklaces from Mr Jones?” He asked.

“Huh!” I nearly screamed.
“What?” He asked.
“Liam is just gonna turn everything into violence, you know that” I said.
“Ohh” He said, obviously having a rethink.
“What should we do then?” He asked.
“I don’t know,I’m as confused as you are” I said.

“What are you both still doing in the teacher’s cabin!” We heard Mr Jones shouted.
He walked in and i got so pissed when i saw the two necklaces on his neck, sparkling brightly.

Dan hissed loudly before walking out of the cabin.

“She has taught you her rude manners huh?” He shouted after Dan before turning to me.
“What are you still doing here? Go after your puppy” He laughed.
“I wonder if there’s a special gain in being cruel” I said slowly dipping my hands into my pocket.
I brought out my phone,unlocked it and quickly clicked on the record app.

“And i wonder if there’s a special gain in being rude” He said and walked to his chair.

“I hate you!” I said.
“Hate me all you want,that doesn’t change my mind. I’m not giving you back this necklaces even though i know well that it’s yours. Make do with the fake ones, you don’t need it more than i do. I’m gonna earn billions of dollars from it. I’ve been searching for this necklaces for years and i won’t let it go,now that i have it” He said.

“You know that those are our necklaces and you don’t wanna give it back?”
“Yeah” He smiled.
“That shows how greedy you are and did you just say you wanna sell it?” I asked.
“Of course,do you expect me to wear this things round my neck like a bulldog?” He asked.
“That’s exactly what you are” I said.
“What!” He shouted,his face turning furious.
“Yeah,cause those necklaces are on your necks now” I said.

“Where the hell did you got your guts from?” He growled.
“You just confirmed the fact that you’re a bulldog” I said and stood up.

My phone still on recording.

“How dare you talk to your teacher that way!” He said.
“I disregard teachers who disregard themselves” I said and started walking to the door.
“Whatever. All i know is you won’t get your necklaces back” He said.
“We shall see. Criminal” I snarled before walking out of the door.

I saved the recording and smiled.

I met Dan standing by the door, laughing.

“Why are you laughing?” I asked.
“I heard everything” He said.
“Really?”
“Yeah,the funniest part was when you called him a bulldog. He’s your teacher for goodness sake” Dan laughed harder and i joined him.

“My teacher indeed! I didn’t even knew you were standing by the door” I said.
“I had to cause he’s a dangerous man,he might want to hurt you” He said.
“I was also careful,i didn’t get too close to him and i had to quickly stand up when i saw how furious he was, I recorded everything that transpired between us” I said.

“Really?”
“Of course” I said.
“OMG, I’ve gat a smart girlfriend” He smiled and i rolled my eyes at him which gat him laughing.

I hit his chest playfully.
“Let’s be serious Dan, we’re in a deep shit and we keep laughing every minute” I said.
“We’re truly in a deep shit, it’s a good thing you recorded what transpired between you and him, we’re gonna use that against him cause he will definitely wanna deny it” He said.
“Of course.” I said.

“Okay,that aside,how are we gonna get our necklaces back?” He asked.
“Let’s get away from here first” I said and took his hand.

We both walked away from the teachers cabin.
We stood in front of my cabin.

“Mr Jones is really bent on not giving us our necklaces and now we have to plan on how to get it cause that’s the only thing that can save us” Dan said.
“You think so?” I asked.
“Of course,are there other ways to keep us safe?” He asked.

I remembered my dream.
It was so confusing that i didn’t get a thing Mum said.

I think i should tell Dan about it.

“Da..” I was saying.
“We have to go for adventure tomorrow” He said cutting me off.
“Why?” I asked.
“Mr Jones will be with the necklaces and we have to be around him cause that’s the only thing that’ll keep us protected” He said.
“True” I nodded.
“So we won’t leave this surrounding till we get our necklaces back cause i know Felia is somewhere waiting to pounce on us” He said.

“Vie was right,we shouldn’t have come here” I said.
“We never knew too, let’s just plan on getting our necklaces back” He said.
“That would be after we’re done with the our lunch. I’m hungry and exhausted plus i need to freshen up” I said.

“Okay then,see you after lunch” He said and turned to leave.
“Make sure you don’t fight Travis okay?” I said and he nodded.
“And make you don’t fight Jacq” He said.
“I won’t but i might if she gets on my nerves” I said.
“Just overlook anything she does huh?” He said.
“Fine,i will” I said and held my door knob.

“See you soon” He said and blew me a kiss.
I laughed and tried to hide my blush.
I opened the door.
He was still standing there, peering into my eyes.

“Won’t you leave?” I asked.
“I will. Anel i think my love for you has gone beyond control” He said and my cheeks grew hot immediately.

“Awwwn” I heard Theresa and Ashlyn said from inside.

Ah! They heard..

“Thank you” I said to him and stepped into my cabin.
He was still standing there when i closed the door and faced Theresa and ashlyn.
They were both grinning widely.

Jacq wasn’t in.

I ignored them and walked down to my bed.
I sat down and sighed tiredly.

“Someone’s cheeks has gone completely red” Theresa said.
“Just like rose” Ashlyn said and they both laughed.

“Asanel looks damn beautiful when blushing” Theresa said.
“You girls should quit teasing” I said trying to hide my smile.
“But seriously, you know Dan really loves you” Ashlyn said.
“I know”
“Then why don’t you give it a go. Don’t you love him?” She asked.

I love him!
I freaking love him when I’m not supposed to!

“I’ll go have a shower” I said and drew my box closer.
I opened it and searched for my favourite simple gown.
I brought it out and placed in on my laps before searching for new set of undies.

I stood up and walked into the bathroom.

I walked back to the room feeling so refreshed after bathing.
I’m now changed into my blue gown.

I sat on my bed and didn’t bother combing my hair…I’m so stressed out.

“Have you girls been served lunch?” I asked Theresa and ashlyn.
They were both watching a movie on Theresa’s laptop.

“Yeah,while we were on adventure” Ashlyn said.
“Ohh…I’m damn hungry” I said, rubbing my stomach.
“I have some biscuits and gravy,if you don’t mind” Theresa said.

“Of course i don’t” I said.
She opened her small backpack and passed a packet of biscuits and gravy to me.
“Thanks Theresa” I muttered.
“You’re welcome” She smiled.
“I also have some chocolates,do you for some pieces?” Ashlyn asked.

OMG!
Chocolates!

“Yeah.. yeah i want..i want” I said happily.
“It seems you’re a lover of chocolate” Ashlyn said.
“I am” I smiled.
“Me too” She said and brought it out for me.
“Thanks” I smiled and collected it.

It’s my second best chocolate “pure bite”.

I should have the biscuits first,cause i would love the chocolate to remain in my mouth till i sleep off.

I was about opening the biscuits when i remembered Dan.
He also haven’t had lunch.
I should better share this with him.

I stood up and started walking to the door holding the chocolates and biscuits.
“Where to?” Theresa asked.
“I’m going to share this with Dan” I said.
“Ohhkay” They both grinned.

Ah?

I opened the door and was surprised when i saw Dan, holding a plate of steaming noodles and two bottles of water.

I walked out and closed the door behind me.

“We can share this” we said together.
“I brought this for us to share,i know you haven’t had lunch” He said and tears gathered in my eyes.

Dan is selfless,he cares greatly about people.

“Thanks Dan,i also bought this for us to share,i knew you haven’t had lunch also” I said and he smiled.
“Thanks for caring for me” He said and i nodded, feeling so emotional.

“Well..that makes our lunch double,come over here baby girl” He smiled and i smiled back.

“Where’s the venue for our adventure?” I asked Theresa and ashlyn.
We’ve all gotten dressed and had our breakfast, we’re waiting for the teachers to call us out.

“I think it’s the underground tunnel”
“Wow” I smiled.

Dan and i couldn’t come up with any plan yesterday so we decided to continue after we’re back from adventure.

I smiled when his message popped on my screen .

? Great,urs?” I sent.

“Asanel” Ashlyn called.
“Huh?” I asked.
“Have you been given back your necklace?” She asked.
“No, Mr Jones wouldn’t give it to any of us,he seized it” I scoffed.
“Didn’t you made it clear to him that it was yours?” She asked.
“I did but he didn’t believe me” I said.

“I bet Jacq didn’t come in here because of guilt” Theresa said.
“Or the fear that you might hit her” Ashlyn said.

She’ll surely be in karissa’s cabin.

“I don’t even care about her,all I’m after is my necklace” I said.
“Is it very important to you?” Theresa asked.
“Of course it is”
“But it’s same with the one on your neck so why don’t you let that go?” She asked.
“Only if you know what mine entails. It’s capable of saving my life ‘our lives’ ”

I wonder why I’m talking this much.

“Really?” Theresa asked.
“Yeah” I said.

?All students should head out for day 4 adventure in Venice underground tunnel” A teacher announced loudly and we all stood up.

I adjusted my pontsplait and slide my feet into my sandals,i buckled it.

“You’ll need to teach me how to make that style, it’s beautiful” Ashlyn said.
“What’s it called?” Theresa asked.
“It’s actually an old style called pontsplait” I smiled.
“Wow.. pontsplait?” They asked looking amused. I nodded.

?Are there students still left in any of these cabins?

“Yes” we shouted before running out of the cabin.

I saw Vie and Dan and quickly walked to them.

“The adventure was interesting,i had so much fun” Vie said.
“Me too,it was great” I smiled.
My hands were tucked in Dan’s.

We were all heading home after our awesome adventure.
Everything was just too great.
I made sure i took lots of pictures.

I glanced at Dan and noted the worried look on his face.
“What happened? Didn’t you enjoyed the adventure?” I asked.
“I did” He said.
“Then why are you looking bothered?” I asked.
“Have you forgotten the deep shit we’re into” He whispered to me,not wanting Vie to know anything.

I sighed..
“We’ll plan out everything once we get to cabin okay? Be happy for the time being huh?” I said and he nodded,still wearing that worried look.

“Com’on smile for me” I said and he did.
“Thanks baby” I said and gasped a little realising what i just said.

Baby?

“You just called me baby?” He asked his smile growing wider.

Vie bursted out laughing.

Dan and i sat on a mat outside our cabin.
Most of the students are also out.

“I’ve been thinking and thinking of a way to get our necklaces back but nothing is coming in.
It’s just like my head is about to burst” I said.
“Same here” Dan sighed.

“Dan,i had a dream” I said.
“Really? What’s the dream about?” He asked.
“It’s about my mum….” I started.

“Damn! Anel,why didn’t you tell me that before now?” Dan asked after i finished narrating my dream to him.
“I was confused about it. I didn’t understand what Mum meant by ‘water from the lake’ ” I said.

“I perfectly understand Anel” He said.
“Really? What does that means?” I asked.
“We can use the water from that lake to defeat Felia” He said and my eyes widened.
“OMG!” I gasped “I didn’t even think in that direction”

“And i think i know the reason for that” He said.
“What reason?” I asked.
“Remember the night we dipped our necklaces into the lake…”
“Oh..my…goodness! No wonder the terrible headache i felt relieved me immediately my head was massaged with the lake water” I said.

“Same happened to me when i dipped my head in the lake.” He said.
“And it seems she isn’t aware that the lake water can defeat her” I said.
“Of course she’s not. She only thinks about the necklaces” He said.

“Wow! Dan, we’ve seen solution to this deep shit without even using our necklaces?” I smiled.
“Yeah” he smiled and we exchanged high-five.

“Now, we’ll go down to the lake and show Felia the consequences of messing with a son of the Shaw and a daughter of the Yates” He said and i grinned.

“Are you sure she’ll be here?” I whispered to Dan.

We were standing at the edge of the lake, holding a bowl of the lake water each behind our back.
We planned to pour it on Felia once she appears.

I’m so prepared for her!

“She’s definitely gonna come,she had been expecting us to get away from the surrounding of our necklaces” Dan said.
“I bet she doesn’t know what we also have in stock for her. I’m so prepared for her” I said bravely and Dan laughed.

“I hope you’ll keep to your words” He said and i sent him a look.
“What do you mean? That I’m a weakling right?” I asked.
“No…” He was saying when the ground started shaking beneath our feet.

Wind started blowing but it stopped almost immediately.
I was shaking all the while,the bowl of water already fell off my hands.

Felia suddenly appeared and the ground shook violently.
Her appearance was terrifying,her hair was blue this time and her robe was stained with thick black blood,her staff oozed fire not smoke,the anger in her now-green-eyeball was visible.

?I’m FELIA the evil goddess of wishes? She growled.

I screamed in fear and started crying.
