Jerry’s anger smoldered as he stormed into ST school hall.

His eyes darted across the faces of students, scanning the entire building in desperate hope.

“Where is Susan?”.

He accosted passing students, his voice sharp and urgent.

“Have you seen this lady, that looks this way?”.

He demanded, describing her with fervor. Susan, with her chestnut hair that cascaded like a waterfall, her eyes the color of stormy seas, and the faint scar on her left cheek a souvenir from a childhood accident.

The students pointed down the corridor, their expressions wary. “Principal’s office,” they murmured.

Jerry followed their directions, heart pounding, he pushed open the heavy wooden door to the principal’s office, Susan’s name echoing in his mind.

Inside, Susan sat composed, her gaze steady as she met his furious eyes.

“What’s this?” Jerry snapped, anger boiling over. But Susan blinked her eyes gentle, a silent plea for restraint. She signaled him to reconstruct his behavior.

Principal Thompson cleared his throat, about to continue their conversation, when the room plunged into darkness.

The door creaked shut, and the flickering fluorescent lights played a macabre game of hide-and-seek.

Jerry’s breath hitched fear clawed at his chest. What was happening?

Then, as if conjured from the shadows, Richard appeared.

His form was ethereal, clad in ghostly apparel. Beside him stood other phantoms, their eyes hollow yet accusing.

Jerry’s sanity teetered on the edge. Was he hallucinating? He tried to hide behind Susan, whispering Richard’s name in terror.

Principal Thompson and Susan exchanged bewildered glances.

Only Adanna, the same girl who had visited their doorstep the previous night, remained unfazed. She stood there, eyes wide, as if privy to secrets beyond mortal comprehension.

The room vibrated with unseen energy. Heavy voices echoed in Jerry’s ears, urging him to confess. Richard’s hollow gaze bore into him.

“Tell them,” the ghost whispered, and Jerry’s tongue betrayed him.

He confessed, the truth spilling out like blo0d from an open w0und.

Susan’s face crumpled as he revealed how he had killed Richard for money rituals.

And then it happened. Richard’s confession triggered màdness.

Jerry watched in horror as the ghostly veil lifted.

Susan’s tears flowed freely with tears, her son was dead all this while, and she had been living a lie. “My son,” she choked out, “My son is dead all this while?”

Susan shook her head, feeling the guilt of Killing her son by the man she loves.

“I will make sure you are locked behind bars ” Susan’s voice trembled accompanied with tears on her eyes, while calling the police.

Jerry’s màdness found its reckoning behind bars, along with the native doctor Jerry had gone to seek wealth from.

As the police led Jerry away with handcuffs.

After the drama of guilt and retribution.

Adanna collapsed to the ground, her eyes wide and unblinking.

Her body quivered, as if caught in the grip of an unseen force. The school hallway buzzed with whispers, students and teachers alike gathering around, their faces etched with concern.

Mr. Thompson, the stern school principal, pushed through the crowd. His graying hair was disheveled, and his eyes held a mix of fear and determination. He knew this was no ordinary force, Adanna was possessed by a ghost.

He sent for Pastor Williams, a man known for his unwavering faith and ability to confront the supernatural. The pastor arrived swiftly, clutching a worn Bible. His gaze fell upon Adanna, and he muttered a prayer under his breath. The air thickened, charged with an otherworldly energy.

Richard, the restless spirit, struggled within Adanna’s body. He had been tethered to this earthly plane for too long, seeking solace, seeking closure.

Now, here was another chance a vessel to inhabit, a way to reunite with his living mother.

He fought against Adanna’s consciousness, pushing her aside. The memories of his own death haunted him, the sleepless night trying to interact with the living, the pain of not seeing his mother again after crossing to the ghost world.

He yearned for release, for the warmth of his mother’s embrace just for the last time.

But Adanna was not an empty vessel. She fought back, her mind a battleground.

She clung to her identity, her essence. Richard’s desperation grew. He attempted to bind himself to her forever, to send Adanna’s soul into the ghostly abyss.

And then, the unexpected happened. the other ghost intervened. She had once walked the same path as Richard, seeking justice for his tragic death.

She had helped him find the rightfully justice he deserves. uncovering the secrets that bound him to this realm.

Now, they stood beside Adanna, their presence calming. “Adanna,” they whispered, his voice echoing through the corridors of Adanna’s mind. “she had suffered enough. Let her be.”

Richard hesitated. The other ghost was right. Adanna was innocent, caught in the crossfire of his own pain. He had no right to drag her down with him.

After what felt like an eternity, he released his grip on Adanna’s soul. The quivering ceased, and her eyes regained their sparkle. The restless spirit seeking justice had left her consciousness, leaving behind a sense of peace.

And in the realms beyond, Richard faded into the mist. His ghost finally met redemption, finding solace in the embrace of the unknown.

Everyone learned the hard way.

Susan covered her eyes, still unable to believe her son had passed on all these days, grief weighed heavy on her heart, a relentless ache that threatened to consume her.

Jerry, once full of bravado, now found himself locked behind cold, unforgiving bars, his willingness for wealth and power had brought had led him down a treacherous path. The price of his actions made him nuts, just like the herbalist had said, and he paid it with every echoing clang of the prison gates.

Esther, who had once reveled in tormenting her peers, now understood that bullying students was not only cruel but also perilous.

The shadows of her past deeds haunted her, whispering reminders of the pain she had inflicted. Redemption seemed elusive, but she vowed to change after regaining her sight.

Except of Amaka, who has a heart of cruelty towards richard meet her Death after bìtten by a spectral snake, the venom had taken its toll on her immediately.

Adanna, who had always hungered for knowledge, seeking answers to life’s mysteries, trying to know everything came with a steep cost by the restless spirit of Richard taking refuge within her mind.

His memories merged with hers, blurring the boundaries between sanity and màdness.

In this tangled web of lessons and consequences. Life had etched its scars upon them, leaving no room for innocence.

The hard way was the only way, and they clung to the fragile hope that redemption awaited them.
