Episode 4

Mr Lawrence arrived home,he came down from his car,his heart was beating fast.He knocked the door and his wife opened the door,she was already waiting for him.

“Where are you coming from?”Mrs Joanah asked

“From work”Mr Lawrence replied

“Liar,is it the time you normally close from work?”Mrs Joanah asked

“Honey oh sorry,I mean after work I went to meet Alfred”Mr Lawrence replied

“You are lieing to me now abi,you are not going to enter inside this house until you tell me where you are coming from?”Mrs Joanah said

“Honey I can’t lie to you, I’m coming from work,I also met Alfred, can I enter inside the house now”Mr Lawrence replied

“No, until you tell me where you are coming from, you’ll not enter this house,so you have started cheating on me already”Mrs Joanah said,she held her husband shirt

“Baby understand me nah,I didn’t go to club or meet any lady,here is my phone,call Alfred and ask him…”Mr Lawrence said

Before Mr Lawrence could finish talking,his wife grabbed the phone from his hand,she dialed Mr Alfred number it rang twice he didn’t answer,the third time he answered

“Ehm Mr Alfred Good evening is Mr Lawrence wife on the line, please be sincere did you meet my husband this evening”Mrs Joanah asked

“Yes I did ma”Mr Alfred answered

“Alright thank you,I just wanted to confirm something, goodnight”Mrs Joanah replied and hang up the call,she gave her husband his phone back

“You’re welcome Sugar”Mrs Joanah said she was ashamed of her reaction she allowed her husband in..

Mr Lawrence smiled and gave his wife the suya he bought for her

“It’s alright have this”He said

“Thank you My sugar”Mrs Joanah replied.

Mrs Joanah served her husband dinner and they ate together.

The next morning.Mr Lawrence woke up late,he looked at the clock the time was 7:31am,he hurried got up from the bed,took his bath, dressed fast and woke his wife.

“Honey I’m in the sitting room waiting for you for breakfast”Mr Lawrence said and left the room

In the sitting room he prepared breakfast which was tea and bread.He prayed for his wife to accept the food

“Please Lord I’m late for work, please let my wife don’t complain about the breakfast I prepare for her”He prayed to God and seated on the chair.

In few minutes Mrs Joanah walked in to the dinning, looking very beautiful,she was putting on a long flay gown designed with beads,the beads on the gown was glittering,the gown looks expensive.immediately Mr Lawrence saw her,he gasped and confessed how beautiful she was

“Honey you are beautiful,where are you going to?”Mr Lawrence asked

“To artenetal”Mrs Joanah replied

“Alright come let’s eat, I’m already late for work”Mr Lawrence said

Luckily for Mr Lawrence,God indeed answered his prayers his wife didn’t complained about the food,they both ate together.

Mr Lawrence was about leaving,his wife called him

“Honey you will take me to the hospital”Mrs Joanah said

“Darling the driver will take you to the hospital,I’m already late for work”Mr Lawrence pleaded

Mr Joanah face suddenly changed

“It’s alright let me drop you off at the hospital”Mr Lawrence replied

Mr Lawrence took his wife to the hospital.

Mrs Joanah came down from the car and bade her husband goodbye.

“My sugar goodbye have a nice day at work”Mrs Joanah said

“Thank you Baby, Take good care of yourself”Mr Lawrence replied as he drove his car

Everyone in the hospital admired Mrs Joanah gown,the nurses talked about her,they whispered to each other

“Her husband is taking good care of her,wow look at the type of gown she is putting on”One of the nurse said
