..
My Elara is back,am so happy it seems she isn’t avoiding me again..
I sat in the sitting room with granny when my phone rang..
I brought it out from my pocket..

“Sweet Nanny”

I swiped it to the left to recieve the call..
“Braylen you need to come now,your parents require yohur attention urgently at the station..Please Braylen,go” Nanny said through the phone..
“Ok” I mumbled getting up ‘a little pissed’ Granny tell Elara i will check on her later..”
“Ok braylen,is anything the matter?” Granny asked..
“No granny,i will be back in few minutes” I said and she replied with an ‘ok’.
I walked out of the door,closing it gently behind me..I walked to my car,opened the door to the driver seat and hopped in..Started the car heading to the station..

💕💕Nicky’s POV💕💕
Braylen’s driver parked in front of our house,i alighted with a ‘thank you’..He drove off..

I knocked on our gate and the security man opened it..
His mouth dropped on seeing me..
“Good evening” I greeted calmly and he looked more surprised..I mean i’ve never greeted the workers..

“Nicky is back” He yelled and i heard footsteps coming to the gate..

“OMG”
“She’s really back”
“She’s not looking good”
“I hope she’s ok”
“Her face looks calm”
“Nicky your dad is worried sick”

They all said together making my head ache..
I would have shouted at them but i promised not to do so again..
I greeted them all walking to the main door..They were obviously surprised at my greetings..
The maids scurried after me…

I entered the house and perceived the aroma of soup..
‘I’ve really missed this house,the warmth and everything’ I thought..

“Where is dad ?” I asked..
“He went to the station,he should be coming back by now” A maid replied bowing..

“Boss Nicky,we’ve prepared your bath and your meal is also on the dining” The maid said bowing..

“From now on,just call me ‘Nicky’ and don’t bow for me anymore..I’m sorry for the way i’ve treated you all. I promise not to mistreat any of you again,let’s all act like one..Treat me as your sister and daughter,don’t be afraid of me anymore..I hope you all forgive me” I said..
The look on their faces was unreadable…

I was surprised when they all engulfed me in a hug,i hugged them back feeling so happy..

“After i’ve finished bathing and eating,i will tell you all what happened to me while i was kidnapped..I guess you are all dying to know..” I said..

“Yes Bos..Yes Nicky” They all said and i smiled going upstairs to my room..

I entered my room and found it sparkling clean….I sat on my soft bed hugging my pillow..

I stood up after some minutes going into the bathroom..

I have a lot of cleaning up to do ‘on my body’..

We headed back to the sitting room after Ela finished bathing and dressing up..

“Granny where is Braylen? Ela asked..
“He will be back in few minutes” Granny said..

“Ohh..ok”

“Ara come to the dining,you must be starving. Kristin bought sopes ingredient and she has prepared it” Granny said.
“Really ?…Thanks Kristin” Ela said walking to the dining..
Granny and i followed her and we all sat on the dining chair,i dished the sopes for everyone and we started eating..

“Thanks Kristin,the meal is delicious,do you stay with Aunt Nora in the kitchen?” Ela asked..
“Yes,i normally assist her in the kitchen” I replied..

“Ara, how were you kidnapped ?,what really happened?,how did you escape?..Just tell me everything i need to know” Granny said..

“Granny,kristin..The person who ordered my kidnap was braylen’s parents” Ela said..

“What !” I exclaimed.
“But they are locked up” Granny said..

“Yes granny, i also found out the person who shot at my parents that night..

“Who ?” Granny and i asked anxiously..

“The principal of Edron college” Ela said.

“OMG, that innocent looking man” I said shockingly and Ela nodded..
“He shot on the order of Braylen’s father and he was also the one ordered to kidnap me,i am to be killed tomorrow if not for the sake of Nicky” Ela said..

“Nicky ?” I asked..

“Yes we were both kidnapped and kept in the same place,she hatched the plan and it was by her plan that made us escape” Ela said..
“Miss Vivian and the teacher Nicky sacked recently were also involved” Ela said..

“What !” I exclaimed..

“Yes it’s unbelievable,but they were also involved..They kidnapped Nicky so her father could hand the school over to them as ransom..
They kidnapped me cos Braylen’s parents ordered them to do it with the believe that i have the evidence that can ruin them and also the fear that i may take over my father companies…And i’m gonna do that soon..” Ela said..

“Am speechless” Granny said..
“I too” I said..

“Can you believe braylen..” Ela was saying but was interrupted by the sound of the door..Braylen slowly walked in looking gloomy..

“Elara,i heard all you said..I know my parents murdered your parents but i can’t believe they also ordered your kidnap with the involvement of the principal and Miss vivian..
Well am not surprised cos i went to see my parents earlier and i found miss vivian,principal and Tina locked up in a cell..I was so surprised to see them locked up,i asked the officer and he told me what their offence is,saying they will be in court by a day after tomorrow with my parents..
My parents has been confirmed murderers due to an evidence someone sent to the station,they called me to say their last goodbye cos it’s obvious i won’t see them anymore after the court judgement..
Elara i plead on behalf of my parents,they seek your forgiveness and i hope you forgive them..” Braylen said holding back his tears..

“Braylen i’ve forgiven them..” Ela said standing up,she hugged Braylen cleaning his tears..

“Elara i love you” Braylen said and granny signalled me to follow her to her room..We left them both..

💕💕Elara’s POV💕💕

Did he just say he love me..

Awwwn..I know my cheeks are already in colour purple..
I’m fighting the urge to say ‘i love you too braylen’..

Merely looking into his eyes send goosebumps all over my body..

I leaned a little and gave him a kiss on his lips,he was startled but responded the kiss..
I planned only for a short kiss but it seems it will take forever..

And i’m ready to kiss him till eternity😘.

He left after he told me he will come back tomorrow with his Nanny..I escorted him out to this car and he gave me a ‘goodnight kiss’ before entering his car..
I blushed and waved at him,he waved back before driving off..

I went to granny’s room..She and kristin was sitting on the bed..

They cleared their throats when i entered..
“What ?” I asked.
“Ela how was the kiss ?” Kristin teased and i hit her playfully..

“Were you guys peeping ?” I asked..
“Ofcourse yes” Granny said and my face turned red..

“Granny she’s blushing” Kristin said playfully and i gave her a look..
“Yes. She doesn’t want to talk about it” Granny said and i nodded..

“Ara, kristin really helped a great deal while you were away..You just have to thank her” Granny said.
“Thanks so much Kristin,i love you” I said hugging her..

“Uh..you should have told Braylen that” She teased again and i smacked her on her butt..

“Ela there is something i need to tell you”
“What ?” I asked..

“I found out about the video containing your parents murder” She said and i felt my head spark..

“Why the hell did you go through my things,why the hell did you?” I yelled boiling with rage..
“I’m sorry,i was thinking i could find a link to your kidnap” She said..
” I’ve been keeping that video for years without sending it to the station but you just saw it once and sent it off..Did i ask you to do that” I yelled..
” I’m sor..”
“Shuush” I interrupted her storming out of granny’s room.

“Ara” I heard granny called and i turned back..
“Please forgive her,she did it for your sake..Please Ara” Granny pleaded..
” I’m sorry” She also said and her my heart was softened by her tears..

I walked closer to her and pulled her in a hug..
” I’m sorry Ela” She said..
“I don’t like people going through my things especially the video part. I’m sorry i yelled at you” I said with a small smile cleaning her tears.

“I’m sorry” She said again..
“If you keep saying you are sorry,am gonna smack your butt real hard” I joked and we all laughed…
