(The next morning)..
..💕💕Braylen’s POV💕💕
I woke up with a banging headache and a stomach rumbling with hunger,i rubbed my eyes and stood up from my bed..Am still in my uniform..
Oh..So i’ve been sleeping since yesterday when i came back from school..
Wow!
I entered the bathroom,rinsed my face with water before going over to the sink to brush my teeth,i pulled my uniform after brushing and got under the shower

I went back to the room in a towel,about to open my wardrobe for the second uniform when i heard a soft knock on the door..
“Braylen please open up,you’ve been inside since yesterday afternoon and haven’t eaten anything..Braylen please just open the door for my sake” I heard nanny’s worried voice through the door…
I brought out my second uniform,pulled on my undies before wearing the uniform..I brushed my hair and applied some body lotion..I wore my socks and shoes,dropped my phone in my pocket..Carried my bag and walked to the door..
Nanny hugged me immediately i opened the door and i held the tears threatening to flow…
“OMG Braylen are you ok,your face isn’t looking bright..Ooh…I understand.
“Come to the dining,you must be feeling hungry” Nanny said touching my stomach and looking up at me..She held my wrist taking me along to the dining..
I heard laughters as we passed the door of their room..I did not regard them as my parents..I let out the tears i was holding still standing a little near from their room..
They aren’t even bothered about me,i’ve been in that room since yesterday and none..i mean none of them could check on me..
Nanny cleaned my tears with her fingers and i saw her eyes also built up in tears…She’s about crying..
I cried more louding sliding to the floor and i saw nanny’s tears also flowing from her eyes..
“What noise is that?” I heard dad’s voice and Nanny quickly pulled me up,taking me to the dining..She sat me down cleaning my tears before going into the kitchen to bring my breakfast..
Am feeling hungry but have no appetite..Nanny forced some toasted bread and tea into my stomach..
I stood up and pecked her ‘Bye’..
“Bye braylen,am there for you ok?”
I nodded and went out of the house..I greeted the driver and hopped into my car..
“We are going to pick jerry” I told him and he nodded, driving off..
💕💕Elara’s POV💕💕
“Piiiin-piiin” I heard the sound of Kristin’s Car, immediately i finished having my breakfast..
“She came right on time” I thought..
I backed my bag and grabbed my lunch box from the dining..
“Bye granny” I said about to open the door when Kristin walked in..
“Good morning granny” She greeted..
“Morning Kristin,how are you?” Granny asked.
“Fine granny,thanks for the cookies”
“Oh…you are welcome” Granny said..
“Bye granny” Kristin said holding my wrist..
“Bye girls”..
We entered the car and the driver started driving..
“Ela you know today is the sleepover right?”
“Yes once we get back from school. I will change and pick some necessary things then follow you” I said..
“Ok then that’s better” Kristin said..
“Aunt senora loved the cookies and she asked me to ask granny about the recipe but i don’t think it’s necessary cos she left this morning”..
“Ofcourse it is,you ask granny when we are back and am sure she will tell you” I said..
“Ok,the weather forecasts rain today by noon” Kristin said..
“Really?” I asked..
“Yes”
We talked and laughed about yesterday’s fight till we got to school..

We entered the class and they all went silent..We walked to our seats and i saw Braylen’s eyes looking swollen and red,jerry was also beside him looking unhappy..
“OMG what happened to them” Kristin whispered to me..
“They are both looking unhappy” I replied as we sat…
“Hey guys” We both said..
Braylen just nodded…
“Hey” Jerry replied with a small wave..
“What happened?” I asked but none answered..
“Braylen” I called but he just shook his head without removing his gaze from his locker..
“Braylen, Jerry please what’s wrong? Kristin also asked..
“Braylen came to pick me looking sad and staring into space,i’ve been asking him what’s wrong but he isn’t saying anything and am damn worried..” Jerry said..
“Oh..My..God, Braylen please talk..What’s happening?” I asked already getting worried..
“Braylen please talk” Kristin also said..
“Braylen..” I called about to start pestering him when a teacher came in..
The teacher started teaching and we have no choice than to face the teacher but my mind wasn’t in what the teacher was teaching..I kept looking worriedly at Braylen who does not even seems to notice the teacher..
Jerry and Kristin was also looking worriedly at him..
“This isn’t the playful Braylen i know”…
“What could be wrong”..I kept thinking..

(lunch break)..
Braylen stood up from his seat,going out of the class and we all followed him..
He got to the garden,laid on the grass staring at the sky..We all bent over him..
” Braylen please talk to us” Jerry said..
“Braylen, what’s wrong?” Kristin asked..
“Braylen, please tell us what’s bothering you,we are all here for you” I also said..
Just then we heard the bleeping of a phone,
‘i think it’s a message’
Braylen brought out his phone from his po ket,stared at the screen and started crying..
We all looked at ourselves ‘confused’ i grabbed the phone from him and it’s a message..It reads;
Braylen your parents are gone again
*Hope you are ok?”
Have you had your lunch?”
“Please make sure you eat,you know you didn’t eat yesterday,and you just ate little this morning..
*Don’t bother about your parents ok?
” I’m here for you”

We all stared at him now understanding tge reason he has been sad all through..
The phone vibrated again in my hand and i checked the screen..Another message has popped in..I clicked on it and it reads;
*Braylen, an urgent business came up..
We’ve sent cash into your account..
*I hope it will last you for 3 months..

I quickly hid the message from him cos i know it will make him more sad..
He stood up and we all stood with him..Standing in the middle of the garden he started crying loud..I couldn’t help but also started crying, kristin joined and i saw jerry trying hard to hold his tears but it flowed freely from his eyes..
We all surrounded him pulling him into a hug to comfort him..
The rain started pouring heavily down on us but we all stand in the middle of the garden crying and embracing braylen..
The rain drained us completely from our hair down to our toe..
Braylen’s face suddenly lit up in a smile and we also stopped crying..
“I love you guys,you are the best things that has ever happened to me” Braylen said holding our hands..The rain was still pouring heavily on us but we didn’t seem moved..
“I’m sorry i made you guys cry,i’m also sorry i made you guys worried” Braylen said..
“We understand your tears” Jerry said..
“We feel your pains cos we’ve all become one” Kristin said.
“Braylen, if there is anything more than tears,we will willingly do it for you” I also said..
We all smiled thrown into silence..
“Tree monster at your backs” Braylen said and started laughing running round the garden..
We ran after him,laughing and playing in the rain with our hair and uniform dripping wet..But do we care??

“I’m tired and hungry guys” Braylen said..
“Yes let’s go to the cafeteria before lunch break is over” Jerry said..
“Our uniform is dripping wet and we cant enter the cafeteria like this” Kristin said and i nodded in agreement..
“That’s true but am still very hungry” Braylen said..
“Let’s go to the school laundry to spin and dry our uniforms” I said..
“You know it’s only teachers that are allowed in the laundry.” Braylen said.
“No,that’s one of the benefits of being class prefects” Kristin said..
“Yes ! ” Braylen exclaimed happily and we all headed out of the garden..

“Guys stay at the door,let’s go in first then if we are done with ours,you can come in to do your’s” I said and Kristin and i entered the laundry room about to pull off my shirts;
“Ela stop,they are peeping ” Kristin said and my eyes went wide..
“You guys are crazy” Kristin said slammed the door on their faces..
We both shook our heads when we heard them laughing hard through the door..

We finished spinning and drying our uniforms before putting them back on..
“Guys you can come in” I said but the door didn’t open…
“Guys we are done…Come in” Kristin said but we heard nothing ..
We both went to the door and opened it but they weren’t there anymore..
We closed the door behind us and began searching for them..We were about to climb the stairs when we saw them sitting on the chair in the school corridor and..
“What ! ” I exclaimed..
They were eating the meal from my lunch box giggling..they still hadn’t noticed us..
“Ela isn’t that your meal?” Kristin asked..
“Yes it is” I replied and started barging towards them with Kristin chuckling behind me..
I stamped my feet in front of then with my arm folded under my breast feigning anger look..
” OMG it’s remaining little to nothing in my lunch plate” I thought..
They both glanced up and saw me,their eyes went wide already scratching their heads…
“You guys are to be punished severely for eating your class prefect’s lunch without her royal permission” I said still feigning the mean look..
“Ok we are ready to be punished but let’s finish the meal first” Braylen said and they both continued eating..
Kristin was laughing hard beside me and i also let out the laughter i was trying to hold…
“Seriously guys what do you want me to eat?” I asked..
“Sorry but when guys were taking long in the school laundry and braylen said he’s so hungry so we picked up your lunch box,brought out the meal and started eating..But braylen ate it first” Jerry said and Braylen gave him a like-seriously look..

“Guys we are also hungry,we have to eat” Kristin said.
“I’ve ordered lunch for the both of you” Braylen said and like magic we saw a lady working in the cafeteria bringing meals on a tray towards us..She handed it over to Braylen and left..
I stretched my hand forward to collect the meal from Braylen but he held it back..
“What again?” I asked hungrily..
“Hmm…we will also have small out of it” Jerry said..
“What !” We both exclaimed..
“Yes we are still hungry please” Braylen said and they both stared at us with puppy eyes..
“Awwwn…They look so cute” I said inwardly..
Kristin and i glanced at eachother…
“Ok” We both said sitting with them..
We all took the last spoon of the meal when we heard the bell for ‘lunch break over’ …
We all stood up going to the class..

“Braylen,jerry today is the sleepover” Kristin said..
“Ok am gonna pick jerry after i pick up my necessary things at home” Braylen said..
“Ok..Bye guys” We both said entering Kristin’s pink lexus..
“Bye” They replied entering Braylen’s car..

The driver parked in front of my house and we both went in..
We met granny sitting on the couch holding a newspaper..
“Good afternoon granny” We both greeted..
“Afternoon darlings,how was school?”
“Fine granny”..
“Granny i want to go in to change and also pick up some necessary things for the sleepover” I said and she nodded..
Kristin sat with granny on the couch and i went inside..
I entered my room and started pulling my school uniform from the door..I quickly entered the shower…
Pulled on my undies before wearing a black tank top with a red skirt..I re-brushed and re-packed my hair into the normal ponytail, i dropped the necessary things i would need for the sleepover into a medium sized bag..I carried it and looked around my room..
“Bye room,i will be back tomorrow ok?” I said before walking out of my room..
I entered the sitting room and met granny giving Kristin the cookie recipe..
“I’m ready” I said..
“Ok bye granny” Kristin said…
“Bye granny” I said hugging her..
“Bye darlings and make sure you don’t do anything naughty ok?” Granny said and we both chuckled going outside..
We entered Kristin’s pink lexus and the driver drove off..
“Sleepover here we come” I said excitedly and we both giggled…
