Elara’s POV
..

I opened one of my eyes and smiled,i don’t really get the reason i’m feeling happy.I walked to my cupboard and brought out my undies together with my school uniform.. I spread them on the bed and headed to the bathroom..I pulled off my pyjamas and had a quick bath,brushed my teeth and went back to my room in a towel…I dried my body and put on my undies followed by my school uniform..I brushed my hair and packed it in the normal ponytail.I wore my socks and shoes,carried my bag and headed out of the room…
I saw bread and tea on the dining table and went into the kitchen to greet granny..
“Good morning granny” I greeted.
“Morning Ara,you look exceptionally beautiful and happy this morning” Granny said facing me..
“Thanks granny”
She nodded…
“Granny i saw bread and tea on the dining table….”
“Yes you can eat that for breakfast,i’m preparing Camote (Sweet potato) for your lunch break in school” Granny said..
“Camote?” I asked excitedly..
“Yes”
“Thanks granny”
“Quickly go and have your breakfast so you won’t be late to school, camotes is almost ready i will pack it for you” Granny said stiring the camotes in the pot..
“Thanks granny but have you had yours? i mean your breakfast” I asked and she nodded…
I walked over to the dining,sat and started rushing my breakfast thinking about how to apologize to Braylen and Kristin…
“Ara, Granny called coming to the dining with my packed lunch..Make sure you apologize to your friends okay?”
“Yes granny,i will..
I emptied the tea cup and stood up,i collected my packed lunch from granny and pecked her bye…
“Bye” Granny said….
🍥AT SCHOOL🍥
I walked into the class and saw Braylen and Kristin sitted in their respective seats…I walked to my seat and sat,i looked at braylen then at kristin but they were both facing the front of the class….

Arrrgh,i sighed..How will i start…

“Hi” I said facing Kristin…
She looked surprised or should i say shocked…Staring at me..

“Hi Kristin,i said again smiling…Am very sorry for the way i had been behaving towards you,and i’m ready to be your friend” I said nervously hoping she won’t ignore me…
She screamed excitedly and jumped from her seat to hug me,i hugged her back and the whole class was staring at us..

“Am also sorry Elara for yelling at you” Kristin said still pulling me in a hug…
I nodded and we disengaged from the hug when a teacher came in…Kristin went back to her seat in smiles and i was also glad she forgave me…Now it’s remaining Braylen and i hope he forgives me…

“That’s Mr Michael,our new maths teacher” Kristin whispered to me smiling..
“Ohh..Ok” I replied and nodded..
The teacher started teaching and for the first time in the school,i stood up and answered most of the questions correctly and confidently..The teacher seemed impressed and i also saw most of the students faces lit up…Kristin gave me high five and we both smiled…

The teachers were coming in nonstop till lunch break so i didn’t got the chance to apologize to Braylen,i hope he will be at the garden…
“Elara,it’s time for lunch,let’s go the cafeteria. Kristin said.
“No Kristin,i said and shook my head..Nicky bound me from eating in the cafeteria”
“Oh! that’s true,am coming let me get my food from the cafeteria so we can eat together in the class” Kristin said about to go when i stopped her.

“No Kristin,she also bounded me from eating in the classroom”.
“What! Kristin exclaimed…Is she crazy? Then where the hell did she want you te eat” Kristin said with a frown..
“Actually i’ve found a better place to eat,you can go and eat in the cafeteria” I said with a little smile..
“We can eat together in the better place you found” Kristin said..
“I would have love you to allow you join me,but if Nicky finds we are eating together..You know what she can do?” I asked and she nodded..
“She’s a bitch,see you after break Ela” Kristin said and walked away..

Ela?
It actually sounds nice…

I also stood up and headed downstairs with my hoping to meet Braylen in the garden….

🌲At the garden🌲
I’m glad i met Braylen sitted in the garden with his back towards me.. I walked closer feeling nervous..

Braylen’s POV

I was relaxing in the garden listening to music with my headphone placed on my ears when i felt a tap on my shoulder,i turned and was surprised to see Elara looking at me with puppy eyes..
I removed the headphone still quite surprised..
“Hi Braylen” Elara said..

I nodded still not believing it’s Elara greeting me..
” Am so sorry for the way i had behaved towards you,please forgive me” She said
“Uh” I kept staring at her not knowing what to say…
“Elara” I finally voiced out..Hmm,i’ve forgiven you” I said feeling so happy within me,i had to resist the urge to pull her into a hug…

“Thank you” She said smiling..
“You can sit” I said and pointed to for her to sit on the grass beside me…She sat…

“Did Nicky also bound you from eating in the cafeteria?” She asked shyly opening her meal..
“No, i said with a smile..I love this garden from the first day i resumed Edron college,even if most students finds it old and boring.I actually finds it fun and beautiful,i love the scent of the natural flowers and also the cool breeze,i love a very silent place and the cafeteria is the opposite. So i found this garden on the second day of my resumption,it was since then i started eating my lunch.It’s a very good place to think…” I stopped realising i’ve said much…

“Wow,if there is anything i also love most; They are flowers” Elara said smiling.
“That means we have a thing in common; Flowers” I said smiling

“Yes” She replied and started eating her meal..

“Is that camotes” I found myself asking peering into her meal..

“Yes it is” She replied and continued eating..
“O..Ok” I said. Camotes is actually one of my best meal and it’s been long nanny made it and besides,this camotes in front of me is mouth watering..

I watched her throat moving as she ate the camotes and i felt the urge to ask her for it..
“Have it” She said stretching the camotes to me..

“Uh?” I asked.
“Have it,she said again stretching forward the camotes..
“Actually i’ve had snacks before you came in” I said.
“No,have it,i can see you like camotes and am willing to share it with you” She said
“Thanks” I muttered and collected it,i can’t resist it anymore…

She nodded and stood up walking round the garden picking and scenting the flowers..
I started eating it,and i must say it’s so delicious…I finished eating and saw her coming back with a pink flower in her hand..
“Thanks for the meal” I said and covered the empty plate and placed it in her lunch box…
She smiled,about to sit when we heard the bell….

“Lunch break is over” I said and stood up with a little frown; i actually want to spend more time with her….
She picked up her lunch box and we both headed out of the garden…
“Elara you can go on to the class,am feeling pressed. I said..
“Ok then” She said with a little smile and i watched her climb the stairs….
I walked towards the rest room….Yaay Elara is finally my friend. I thought grinning like an idiot😃
