My mom winked at me when wifey went inside
We could hear her wailing from the living room
I decided to play along
“Mama,I don’t want them to be around me,let them stay in the village,
Moreover,I never wanted the third pregnancy,
So I have two male son as far as I’m concern”
I said these words loudly
Mama went to our room door
It was slightly opened
Mama put her mouth at the opened place and said
“Sha go and bring them here,
And chase the unwanted visitor”
We both laugh silently
I was never okay with wifey’s behavior
Thank God mama came to my rescue
I entered the room
And wifey looked at me with teary eyes
She don cry,her eyes don bulge
“Eze,is it true,you have three sons in the village”
She asked
“Uhmmm,wifey,I was going to tell you…”
Wifey turned and sleep facing the wall
“Abi I should tell her the truth ni”
I thought to myself
I slept
The next morning
My wife woke up early and cooked
Mama came out of her room
“Good morning ma”
My wife knelt down and greeted her
Wawu
Mama was dumbfounded
I was too
Mama nodded
“Mama,I have placed water in the bathroom for you to take your bath,
I have also prepared your food”
She continued
My mouth was left ajar
Mama nodded
“Mama,im deeply sorry for yesterday…”
Wifey said
Mama nodded
Wifey went in
Mama turned to me
“Where is your wife,
This is not your wife”
I don’t know oo
