“Mia,what are you doing?” I heard Darrel asked and my heart nearly popped out of my chest.
I slowly turned to see him walking to me.

Damn!

“I..i..i it’s a beautiful night” I said with my heart beating fast.
“Ohh.. really? But i heard you talking” He said.
“Yeah…i was telling myself how beautiful the night is” I said praying Anne won’t make a sound where she is.

He stared at me for a while, looking like he doesn’t believe me.
I sighed when i noticed my forehead is starting to get hot.

“I didn’t heard you knock” I forced a smile.
“I did, severally but i guess you were engrossed in staring out at the beautiful night” He sighed.
“I guess so” I said.

“I’m here to have your contact” He said.
“That could have wait till tomorrow” I found myself saying.
“I know but it’s for your safety. That assassin do pop up at anytime” He said.

“OMG!” I gasped, faking huge fear.
“Don’t be scared,she won’t hurt you. I’m the one she’s after but in case you notice anything,you give me a call or message me instantly okay?”
“Okay” I said and grabbed my phone.

We exchanged contact while i kept feigning fear.
“Com’on don’t be scared okay? I never planned to scare you but i just had to make sure everyone will be safe”
“Okay thanks” I said.

“Are you starting to wish you didn’t apply for the job?” He asked and i shook my head.
“No..I’m not regretting that i took the job. I’m just worried for our lives” I said.
“It’ll be fine. Everything is gonna end once i capture the assassin”
“I hope you can do that soon” I said.
“Of course i will” He said.

“I will leave you to sleep” He said and started walking to the door, i walked after him.
“Goodnight” i said when he walked out of the door.
“Goodnight Mia” He said and i closed the door and bolted it immediately.

How could i forgot to bolt the door.
Now he’ll start suspecting my every move.
He looked like he didn’t believe what i said.

I turned and saw Anne,by my window,ready to jump in.
I sighed.

“Hey bestie” She said and jumped into my room.
She’s on her ninja outfit but she’s not putting on mask which i found risky.
She’s holding a large paper bag and i wonder how she climbed the wall with that.

“What’s up?” I asked.
“I’m fine,that dude is indeed smart” She said, settling herself on my bed.
“You mustn’t relax completely and try to keep your voice low” I said and she nodded.
“Nice room” She said.
“Thanks” I smiled and went to sit beside her.

“The house feels so boring without you” She said.
“I wish i can kill him and come home soon” I said slowly.
“Me too but boss knows best. So how was your stay here today?” She asked.
“Fine, incredibly fine. The gate keeper made my day” I said.
“Really?”
“Yeah and Darrel is also a nice person” I said and she sighed.

“What?” I asked.
“Nothing,i just feel like not leaving anymore. I want to be here with you” She said and i giggled.
“Com’on,three months is not far,just some weeks and I’m done”

She shrugged “Okay..i brought some of your wigs along too”
“Ohh.. thanks” I said and emptied the contents of the paper bag on the bed.

Boots,ninja outfit,wigs, pistols and bullets…

“Woah! I’m sure i won’t exhaust this bullets till I’m back home” I said.
“You might, you’ll need enough bullets to blow off Darrel’s Holden brain” She whispered and i laughed.

“Mia,is everything okay?” Darrel suddenly asked, startling the day living out of Anne and i.
“OMG!” Anne exclaimed and quickly stood up .

“I’m fine Darrel,I’m watching a movie” I said loudly.
“Do you have a TV in your room?” He asked.
“Geez” Anne trembled.
“Nah! On my phone” I said.
“Ohh…Okay” He said and i heard his footsteps fade away.

“Damn!” I sighed in relief.
“I need to go” She said and turned back to the window.
“Okay,bye” I said and watched her connect the rope.
“Bye” She waved and started sliding down the rope.

I watched her till she got into the car and drove off.

I sighed in relief and sat back on the bed.
I wish she could stay longer…how come Darrel hasn’t sleep yet.
He’s definitely a supernatural being!

I glanced at the content on the bed and smiled.
I need to hide them..

I opened an empty drawer and packed everything in it.
I locked it and held the key in my hand.

I walked into the bathroom and opened the cabinet.
I hid the key in there and made to have my night bath.

Minutes later,i crawled under the blanket and switched off the light.
I love to sleep in total darkness but here i need to be at alert.

I switched on the bedside lamp and closed my eyes.

⚔️Darrel’s POV⚔️

I opened my eyes and yawned widely.
I laid still in bed,i don’t feel like getting out of bed anytime from now but i gotta check if everyone is okay.

We’re all not safe in this house…
I sighed and then sat up on the bed.
I switched off my bedside lamp and glanced out of the window.

Nathaniel is at his duty post, obviously okay, looking as vibrant as ever.
Okay,i should go check on Mia too.

I stepped out of the bed in my robe and made for the bathroom.
I stood in front of the sink and grabbed my toothbrush and paste.
I started brushing my teeth.

Looking at my reflection in the mirror,i saw how disheveled my hair was.
I dipped my fingers into it and tried to straightened it..

I should know that won’t work,my hair is always in compliance with my comb or hairbrush but not my fingers.
I finished brushing and then rinsed my mouth.

I splashed some water on my face and then picked a hand towel on the towel rack.
I wiped my face with it before walking back to my room.

I picked my hair comb and combed my hair.
Looking a bit better.
I dropped the comb and slide my feet into my footwear,i tightened my robe before walking out of my room.

I closed the door behind me and made for Mia’s door.

“Mia” I called, while knocking.
I waited for a response but didn’t get one.
“Mia” I called, knocking severally.
Same thing!

OMG!
Has something happened to her.
I pushed her door opened and walked in.
She isn’t in her room and i can’t hear shower running.

I walked out of her room and glanced round the passage.
I noticed it’s looking clean and sparkly.

Wow!
She has started work already.

I smiled and hurried down the stairs.
I got to the living room and breathed in.

How come the living room is looking more beautiful this morning.
Mia cleaned it too?
I know it’s her job but wow…

Where’s she?
I need to commend her.

I heard some sounds in the kitchen followed by a delicious aroma.
“Umm” I smiled and walked to the kitchen.

She was backing me but i could clearly see how she expertly flipped a golden pancake on a flat plate,she added bacon and made to fry more.

“Good morning Mia” I said and she turned.
“Good morning” She smiled.
“How was your night?” I asked.
“Fine” She said.
“I can see you’ve cleaned the whole house,that’s so hardworking of you” I said.
“Thank you” She said and quickly turned back to the pancake.
Her long brown golden hair flipped in the process.

She was putting on a white tank top and pink knee-length skirt.
She has an amazing shape though.

“You’re making breakfast already,i should better go have my bath” I said.
“Okay” She said.

I washed the dishes in the sink after we were done having breakfast.
The dishes were few so i was done in few minutes.

I wiped my hands on a napkin and then walked out of the kitchen.
Darrel was in the living room working on his laptop.

“I’ll be in my room,call on me if you need me” I said to him..
“Do you wanna do something in your room?” He asked,not removing his gaze from his laptop.
“Not really” I said.
“Then sit here and watch a movie instead of getting bored in your room” He said and i glanced at the TV.
Fashion show was on display…i don’t really have much love for fashion.

“Don’t you wanna watch a movie?” He asked.
“I do, thanks” I said and sat my butt on the couch.
“Permit me to change the channel” I said, picking up the remote control.
“Of course you can,i actually thought you would like this fashion show. I thought all female like fashion show” He said.

“Nah, not all female..” I said and changed the channel to my favorite.

I switched off the TV and got up from the couch.
I slide my feet into my slippers.
I need to go take a nap in my room.
Darrel and Nathan already left for where God knows.

I got to my room and walked in, shutting the door behind me.

I sat on the bed and picked my phone.

A new message…

? Mia,you have an assignment tonight.
Check your mail for the necessary information.

?Boss

Wow!
What if i hadn’t checked my phone.
Well…there’s no time to nap anymore,i need to get prepared.

It’s night already…i bolted my door after we were done with dinner and i made sure everywhere was dead silent before i walked into the bathroom to grab the key to the drawer.

I unlocked the drawer and brought out the necessary things I’m gonna need.

I started getting changed into my ninja outfit.

I grabbed my wig and wore it over my hair.
My boots came next and then my mask.
I loaded my pistol with bullets and dipped it into my ninja outfit.

I grabbed the rope and walked to the window.
A car is parked on the street for me already.

I connected the rope to the gate and was about sliding down.

“Mia” Darrel knocked heavily.

“Mia” Darrel knocked heavily.

Oh..my..God!!

I blew out a furious breathe.

“Yes, what do you want?” I answered.
“Can you open the door please?” He asked.

Damn!

“I’m not dressed..i mean i’m not fully dressed. Please say whatever you wanna say” I said.
“Okay,fine. I’m about to go to bed and i needed to be sure if you were okay” He said and i sighed.
“I’m fine thanks” I said.
“Okay, goodnight” He said.
“Goodnight” I said and sighed in complete relief.

He kept disrupting and delaying my moves.

I made sure the rope was well connected.
I switched off the light and started sliding down with the aid of the thick rope.

I landed on my feet outside the gate and retrieved the rope.
It was folded neatly in my hand as i hurried to my car.

I checked the plate number and confirmed it was mine before opening the car door.
It was unlocked and the key is in the ignition.

I sat on the driver’s seat and closed the car door.
I twitched the key in the ignition and the car jerked into life.

I started driving slowly at first but the speed later on.

I parked my car outside the building I’m to assassinate a business woman named; Genevieve Ross.
She doesn’t live alone,she gat a gatekeeper and a house help.

I might just kill the gatekeeper if he proves stubborn.

I got down from the car and walked to the gate.
I knocked on it gently.
The gate opened and the gatekeeper appeared.

He gasped and quickly made to lock the gate but he wasn’t so fast.
I pushed the gate and entered quickly.

The gatekeeper rushed at me, trying to get me down with his weak punch.
I sent a flying kick to his stomach which made him collapse on the cold floor.

I shot his leg and hurried into the main house, ignoring his groan.
I walked into the living room and saw the house help holding a tray of glass cups,she was about exiting the living room when she sighted me.

She screamed in fear and the content she was holding fell, breaking into several pieces.
I got to her and made her unconscious by hitting her head with the butt of my pistol.

She fell to the floor,the broken glass tearing her exposed arm.

I glanced around and saw the stairs.
I quickly climbed it and pushed open the first door i saw.

Genevieve Ross was relaxed on the bed,busy with her phone and sipping her wine slowly.
Glancing at her room alone,i knew how wealthy she is.

She hasn’t noticed my presence..

“Genevieve Ross” I called and she glanced up.
“OMG” She screamed, holding tightly to her phone.

Sweat started trickling down her face…

“Hi” I said.
“You can have the whole money in my wardrobe” She said,in shivering voice.
“Why do people keep thinking i need money. I don’t need money. I’m an assassin!” I said.

“Ahh!” She screamed and started weeping.
I don’t have much time left..

I pointed my pistol at her and pulled the trigger.
Two bullets hit her forehead and that was the end of Genevieve Ross.
“Rest in peace” I smiled before hurrying out.

I got to the living room,the house help was still unconscious,she looks so young and looking at her brought back memories…sad memories..

I walked out of the house slowly.
I met the gatekeeper writhing in pain on the floor.

“You shouldn’t have tried to stand up to me” I said to him and walked out of the gate.
I got to my car and quickly got behind the wheels.

Mission accomplished.

I parked my car at a far distance from Darrel’s house.
I left the key in the ignition,grabbed my pistol and stepped out of the car.
I closed the car door and started walking to the house.

I tucked my pistol in my outfit and started climbing the building.
I’ve climbed this building severally but I’ve always headed to Darrel’s room,now to my room.

Things sure changes..

I got to my room and glanced around carefully before jumping into my opened window.
I sighed softly and closed the window,i drew the curtain closed too.

I switched on the light and sat on the bed.
I pulled off my mask and wig and then smiled.

I picked my phone up and quickly texted boss.

?Mission accomplished..

The car should be taken away soon.
? Mia.

I pulled off my boots and then got back on my feet.

I walked to the wardrobe,pulled it open and grabbed my pajamas.

Time to sleep.

??Next morning??

I already got up early to do my chores.
I was fixing breakfast in the kitchen when i heard Darrel’s footsteps.

He’s awake.

“I met you in the kitchen again this morning” He said.
I turned..

Damn!
He looks more cute in the morning with his disheveled hair and the white robe that’s always tightened round his huge body.

“Good morning” I said.
“Good morning. Do you wake up in the midnight to do chores cause i met everywhere looking so clean again” He said.

I smiled..”I don’t wake up in the middle of the night,i do wake up at dawn”
“Really?”
“Yeah”
“Please try to be getting more sleep okay? You can wake up at anytime to do chores” He said.
“Thanks but I’m used to it already,I’ve been a housekeeper for a long time” I said almost pinching myself.

“Wow! ,the guys will be here tomorrow. Make sure you demand for a huge salary okay? If they can’t afford it,I’ll pay it” He said.
“Thanks so much” I smiled.
“Its fine…So,what are you making for breakfast?” He asked.
“Bread and jam with coffee,do you want anything different?” I asked.
“No,I’m fine with that” He said.
“It’ll be ready soon. Kindly go take your bath” i said and he laughed.
“Okay ma’am” He said and walked away.

I smiled and turned back to what i was making.

We were seated in the living room, Nath joined us this time,he was keeping me busy with his talks while Darrel watched the TV.

“You shouldn’t have done that” I said to Nath, laughing hard.
“She would have spanked me on the butt” He said and i laughed more.

“Oh..my..God!” Darrel suddenly banged the table in anger, startling Nath and i in the process.
“What’s wrong?” Nath asked.

He was looking so furious as he pointed to the TV.

? GENEVIEVE ROSS WAS KILLED OVERNIGHT BY THE INFAMOUS ASSASSIN IN NEW YORK CITY.

“How can she go about killing people like flies! That’s so cruel of her” Nath said and i smirked.
“Of course it is. I swear down,I’m gonna make sure i capture her. How can someone take pleasure in taking people’s lives” Darrel said, fuming.

I shifted and sat properly on the couch.
I didn’t utter a word as i watched Nath and Darrel display their contempt over what i did.

“Mia, don’t you think this is getting worst?” Nath asked.
“Uh..yes it is” I said.
“I’m gonna put in more effort in capturing her and it starts from now” Darrel said determinedly,stood up and walked away.

I sighed.

? THE GATE KEEPER AND THE HOUSE MAID ARE RECEIVING TREATMENT IN THE HOSPITAL AFTER BEING FOUND UNCONSCIOUS…

Well…I’m glad they are not dead.

“What’s wrong Mia?” Nath asked.
“I’m fine…I’m perfectly fine” I forced a smile.

I smiled.

I just got Darrel Holden mail from Robbie’s laptop.
Mia can’t just be having fun in his house!
I will make sure she goes through difficulties.

I’ll be sending him the location of anywhere Mia wants to go assassinate.
I want to see how long she’ll keep defeating him.

Im damn sure he’s gonna capture her someday soon and throw her ass in the cell.

I laughed and bounced happily on my bed.

Images flooded my closed eyes, i kept turning and sweating in my bed as my words kept echoing in my ears.

‘daddy!’
‘please!’
‘daddy!!!’

My eyes popped open and i quickly sat up on the bed breathing heavily.
Sweat trickled down my face and i noticed my hands were gripping the bed sheet tightly.

Why can’t i just format this whole memory.
Why does it keep haunting me. Ive always tried to let go but it keep popping up.

I sighed and released my tight hold on the bedsheet.
Sunlight streamed into my room, making a line across my bed.

It’s morning already…i should get ready for chores..
I got up from the bed and stretched.

I walked into the bathroom and proceeded to the sink to brush my teeth.
I stared at my reflection in the big round mirror while i picked my toothbrush and paste.

I look horrible.

There are signs of sweat on my forehead and my eyes is not looking any better.
Well…after that nightmare,my bright eyes always turn dull.

I rinsed my toothbrush before applying some toothpaste on it,i started brushing my teeth, trying not to think about my childhood days..
Gosh!
I wish i was never given birth to..

I rinsed my mouth thoroughly after i was done brushing,i rinsed my toothbrush too and returned it to the cabinet.
I scooped some water in my palm and splashed it on my face,i did that severally until i was satisfied.

I wiped my face with one of the towels on the rail and then glanced back at my reflection in the mirror.
I look much better now.

I walked back to my room and packed my hair into a ponytail,slide my feet into my slippers and then walked out of my room.

I walked to the store and gathered the cleaning tools,i started my chores.

I walked back to my room to my room after i was done with the necessary chores.
I need to have my bath now, dress up and go make breakfast.

I picked my phone up and checked my mail for any message.

None.

I dropped it and walked to the wardrobe,i pulled it opened and searched for what to wear.
Darrel said those guys were coming today.
I wouldn’t want to look like a shabby housekeeper.

I selected a black short gown with little crystals all over it,there are white buttons at the front down to the waist line. It’s an old design but do i care.
I opened my drawer to select my undies.
I shook my head when i sighted my red panties.

What has Darrel caused?
Will i be able to wear that panties again?

I selected my undies and placed it on the bed together with my dress before walking into the bathroom.

I sat on the stool already clad in my gown.
I was combing my hair when i heard my phone beeped.

A message.

I stood up and walked to my bed,i picked my phone and clicked on the message.

Call me when you’re not with the bull dog.

I signed.

? Com’on! He’s not a bulldog’ I was about typing but decided not to.
I cleared the message and dropped my phone on the bed.

I walked back to the stool and sat down.

Darrel is our enemy but that doesn’t make him a bulldog.
Well…i would have also referred to him as a bulldog if i had not known him better.
He’s a nice dude.

I picked my hair band and packed my hair into a ponytail before making it into a bun.
I stood up and and grabbed a pair of white slippers from the rack.
I gat three pairs of slippers…

White,
Black and,
Brown.
I do stay indoor except at night and i wear boots whenever i want to go for mission.

I slide my feet into my white slippers and glanced at the wall clock.

Woah!
I hurried out of my room.
I need to start making breakfast before Darrel wakes up.

I descended from the stairs and headed straight to the kitchen.
I was surprised to find Darrel there already, backing me. He’s obviously making breakfast,plus he’s fully dressed.

Did i took long in dressing up?

Darrel turned as if already aware of my presence.
I got a full view of his outfit,white hoodie with dark blue jeans.
He doesn’t put effort in dressing yet he always look adorable.
His hair is styled differently and it gave his face a new handsome look.

He smiled. “I got to the kitchen before you this morning”
“Good morning” I said.
“Morning to you too” He said.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“Making breakfast”
“Oh..no! You shouldn’t do that,I’m sorry i took so long this morning” I said and made to take over but he stopped me.

“You didn’t take long, i woke up very early instead.”
“Really?”
“Of course”
“But you shouldn’t make breakfast,it’s my work and I’ll be getting paid for it. I shouldn’t share it with anyone” I said.

“You didn’t force me to. I’m doing it willingly” He said.
I sighed..”Okay,now I’m here,I’ll do the rest”
“Nah! I’m almost done” He said.
“No, please just let me help with something” I said.
“Okay,I’m done with the eggs and bacon already,that’s the teapot over there. You can make the tea” He said.
“Okay” I said and got to work.

“How’s the breakfast, delicious right?” Darrel asked proudly and i laughed.
We were both seated in the dining having our breakfast.

He’s good in other things but definitely not cooking.

“Why are you laughing?” He asked.
“This breakfast is not near delicious but you tried a bit” I said.
“Ohh…I’m always bad in cooking” He frowned.
“You tried,for a guy” I said.
“Really?”
“Yeah” I gulped my tea.

“I should learn from you but starting from today,I’ll be a bit busy” He said.
“The assassin case right?”
“Yeah,I’ve already created an office in the house” He said.
“Really?”
“Yeah,i transformed an empty room to an office, I’ll show it to you later in the day” He said and i nodded.

“You done eating? I wanna clear the table” I said.
“Yeah,I’m done” he said and gulped the remaining tea in his teacup .
I stoop up and cleared the table to the kitchen.

I started washing the dishes,i placed them on the drainboard after i was done.
I rinsed the cups and wiped them before placing them back in their space.

I walked back to the dining room and wiped the table clean..

I didn’t find Darrel in the living room when i was done.
He might be in his office, devising plans on how to capture me when I’m right here in the same house with him.

So funny…

I got to my room and sat on the bed .
I picked my phone and started placing a call across Joel.
I’ve missed him though,his delicious meals especially.

?Hey Joel” I said happily into the phone….

My sleep got disrupted by the knocks on my door.
“Come in” I said rubbing my palms over my eyes.
I was sitting up when the door opened.
Darrel walked in.

“The guys are here…oh,I’m sorry for interrupting your sleep. Go back to sleep,they won’t be leaving till mid-afternoon” He said and turned to leave.
“No..it’s fine,i was about waking up anyway. I’ve been sleeping for long” I said.
“Umm” He sighed.
“I’ll join them soon” I said.
“Okay” He said and walked out of the door.

I released another yawn as i stepped out of the bed.
The door suddenly opened again, startling me.

Darrel!

“I’m sorry but before you come downstairs, you’ll need to adjust your gown..up there” He said pointing to my chest.
I glanced at it and nearly gasped.
Three front buttons are opened, exposing a part of my left boob.

Damn!

I quickly adjusted the buttons in embarrassment.
Why is he still standing there!

“And your hair too” He said before shutting the door.
I sighed and walked to the mirror.

Damn!
This hair was in a ponytail before i slept..now look!

I groaned and grabbed my haircomb.

I decided not to pack it this time,i let it flow down my shoulders.

I slide my feet into my slippers and walked out of my room.
I descended the stairs slowly and finally got to the living room.

Three guys were seated on a couch,while Darrel sat opposite them.
He already served them drinks,they were chatting except one who looks sullen like he’s gonna burst anytime soon.

“Hi” I said and they all glanced up.
“Wow! Who’s she?” Edwin asked. I knew his name by the name tag on his shirt. He’s a CIA agent.
“She’s the housekeeper i told you about” Darrel said.
“Geez! I thought she was your girl” The second guy said. I glanced at his name tag,he goes by the name Luke.

Darrel smiled and motioned me to sit beside him.
I did.

“Why would you employ a lady as a live-in housekeeper?” The Sullen one said. He’s Steve according to his name tag.
“Why shouldn’t i ?” Darrel asked and i guess that rendered Steve speechless.

“Are you satisfied with how she works” Edwin asked Darrel.
“I’m more than satisfied” Darrel smiled.
“You’re beautiful..i mean,very beautiful” Luke gazed at me admiringly.
“Thanks” I said.
“How about we get to know each other better” Luke smiled.

“I’m Mia Cunnane…” I was saying but Steve interrupted me.

“I hope you did a background check on her before employing her,you can’t just employ anyone you want” He said.
“Of course i did and you can walk out of here if you wanna continue being mean” Darrel said.
“Like you own the house” Steve snickered.
“Ohh…” Darrel laughed. “If i should start talking about my owned properties in California,i bet you won’t remain seated there”

“You can go on and brag!” Steve said.
“Enough of this!” Edwin said.
I sighed.. it’s obvious this guy doesn’t like Darrel.
Should i just kill him..

“Mia,let’s discuss your pay” Edwin said.
“Okay…”

“Thanks so much” I said.
We just finished discussing my monthly pay.
Not that i need the money anyway but i had to act excitedly.
“I hope you’re satisfied with it?” Darrel asked.
“Of course i am” I smiled.

“Agent Darrel,boss said you should report to him over the findings you’ve made” Edwin said.
“Okay,i will” Darrel said.
“Are you guys leaving now?” I asked.
“Yeah” Edwin.

“Please wait,lemme quickly fix lunch for you” I said.
“With all pleasure Mia” Luke smiled.
Edwin hesitated before nodding.
“You mean,you both wanna stay for a so called lunch!” Steve said.

“You can leave if you want to Steve” Luke said.
“It’s just gonna take few minutes,I’ll be right back” I said and started walking to the kitchen.
“Do you need my help?” Luke shouted after me.
“No, thanks” I said.

They were leaving after eating delicious meal i made for them
“That was a delicious meal” Edwin said as Darrel and i walked them to their car.
“Thanks” I said.
“You are beautiful plus you cook delicious meals,will you please marry me in the future?” Luke asked and i laughed.

“Luke!” Edwin scolded.
“Thanks for the meal Mia, looking forward to more” Luke said.

They all got into the car and we waved them bye.
Nath opened the gate widely and we watched their car leave the compound.

I breathed out and glanced at Darrel who stood with his hands in his pocket.
“Steve sure doesn’t like you” i said.
“He doesn’t,he threatened me the first day i arrived” He said.
“Woah! don’t you think you should report this to CIA leader” I said.
“I understand him. Truly. I made them look incompetent by coming to their rescue” He said.

If Steve had been in charge of my case,he would have been a dead meat by now.

“They wouldn’t have hired you if he was competent”
“Of course,come let me go show you my office” He smiled.

“Okay. Nath, come over for your lunch” I said loudly to Nath who was locking the gate .
He ran over immediately.
I handed the packed meal to him.

He always refuses to join us at the dining, saying he mustn’t leave his post.

“Thanks Mia” He said.
“I’ll join you outside soon okay?” I said.
“Okay” He smiled and walked away.

Darrel took my hand and we both headed into the house.
