SARE by Olowojesiku Deborah Iyanu
Episode 16
PRESENT
As soon as Bimpe finished telling her story, she looked around and was surprised to see eighty-five percent of her audience on their knees crying. She beckoned to her husband to come give her support by holding her hands since she had been standing for over three hours telling her story.
As her husband held her hands, the couple both began to speak in their tongues and deliverance began to take place in the congregation. People were being delivered from depression, hurt, and all the things that held them bound and we were set on fire for God. Some ladies received the baptism of the Holy Ghost while others surrendered their lives to Christ. It was indeed a program to remember.
Done with the ministering, Bimpe appreciated the convener for the invitation and left with her husband. As she got into the car, a woman ran to their car wanting to speak to her. Luis wound down the window of the car giving the woman the opportunity to talk to Bimpe.
Woman: Thank you very much for telling us your story today, ma. My story is similar to yours, I was contemplating suicide before a friend invited me to this program. I have hope that something good can still come out of me and very soon, I hope to locate you with my testimony.
Bimpe: Oh, Dear, the good God perfect all that concerns you.
Bimpe watched the woman walk away with a huge smile plastered on her face. She was grateful to God for making her a source of comfort in life. If she was told she would be a source of encouragement to people, she would disagree because her past life didn’t look anything like it.
Bimpe: (to her husband) God is full of mercy.
Luis: Yes oh especially to those who will run to Him.
Bimpe: You are right. I am glad I ran to Him. I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t surrender to Him. And to think He gave me a sweet man after all that happened.
Luis: (blushing) He gave me peace as a wife. I am grateful to God for the peace of mind. I am a happy married man men mehn and to think you being married to me has opened great financial doors for me. I am privileged to be married to you.
Bimpe: Come on, I should be saying all that. You’ve always been an angel.
Luis: You have also been an angel. I love you, baby.
Bimpe: You know I love you more.
Luis: I have an idea. Since the boys are with their grandparents, going on a one-week holiday won’t be a bad idea.
Bimpe: Awwn, I can’t wait for that. More so, I have missed my husband greatly.
Luis: Where are you considering? Dubai? Paris? South Africa?
Bimpe: Babe, the cost.
Luis: Anything for my darling, you never can tell, we may be making baby number three there.
Bimpe: Luis??
Luis: I think Paris should be your choice.
Bimpe: Yes, I prefer Paris. About having another baby, I am afraid.
Luis: There is nothing to fear darling, it would be a stress-free pregnancy, and guess what? We are having a baby girl.
Bimpe: What?? Who told you that?
Luis: (winks) Trust the Holy Spirit.
Bimpe looked at her husband and smiled, she loved how he was able to get information about their family ahead of time. Before things happened in their home, Luis would have been notified by the Holy Spirit. Truly, he was the man of God her life and destiny needed, she planted a kiss on his cheeks and began to daydream about how sweet the one-week holiday with her husband in Paris would be.
