The word “Zoe” is the Greek meaning for the life, but not just any kind of life, the God-kind of life. Life in the Greek language has three different words for it. Bios, Psuche and Zoe. Bios is the life present in all living things, Psuche refers to the soul-life in which every human being possesses. Zoe however, refers to the uncreated, eternal life of God, the divine life that is uniquely possessed by God.
