I couldn’t concentrate anymore after receiving the call from my neighbor, informing me that my wife brought a man into our house. He even told me he was hearing sound which he was sure was coming from the sex they’re having.
It was the second time I was receiving such call from two different neighbors. My head was filled with anger. I would have leave the office at once if not for the proposal the CEO asked me to pull together for a contract we’re trying to secure.
Precious and I have been in the marriage for a year and two months, she was supportive and always motivating me. Even tho my salary of thirty two thousand naira was not enough to keep the family running,I always feel relaxed because I had her.
I thought she was the one for me and she wouldn’t do anything to hurt me. Even tho I own nothing, but I own her and that was enough for me.
I called her number but it didn’t go through and this made me more angry.
My eyes didn’t bother hiding my anger and all my colleagues did well in avoiding me.
I didn’t bid anyone bye as I took my bag and left the premises when it was four,our closing time.
I made a stop at a nearby market and brought a sharp knife, a small digger and a bottle of seaman before I head home.
” Welcome baby ” she greeted me as soon as I entered the house but I didn’t reply her. I dropped the things I bought on the table and sat down on the chair.
” What’s wrong” she asked me, noticing my mood.
” Why did you do it ” I asked her.
” What’s that babe ” she asked with an innocent look.
” Why did you not heed to my warning, how could you be so careless ” I lashed at her.
” I warned you to make sure no one see you when you’re bringing him in, how can you be careless after the first time ” I asked her.
” I’m sorry, I didn’t know that someone saw us ” she replied.
” You should have been careful, do you want to ruin everything at this moment ” I said to her with anger.
” I’m very sorry babe, what matters most is that he also disappeared like the other six when I use the charm to touch his head too, the seven men has been sacrificed, we’ll be wealthy and that’s all that matter ” she said trying to pacify me.
” But you should still have been careful, we’ve come this far and we can’t suffer any setback or leakage ” I said to her as I calmed down.

” Did you get the remaining things ” she asked me.
” Yes, they’re in there ” I replied pointing at the black polythene bag on the table.
” Okay, let me go get it ” she said as she exited the living room.
I took out the digger, raised the carpet up and digged the ground. She came back with the black pigeon and the charm she used on the seven male. I put the charm in the hole I dug, I slaughtered the pigeon with the knife I bought and made it blood dropped on the charm inside the hole.
I unsealed the seaman, we both took a short each in our mouth and spit it on the charm. A fire suddenly erupted out of the hole for some seconds, and by the time the fire was out, nothing was inside the hole.
” We’re rich ” I muttered happily as I kissed her.
