I and john continued our relationship despite what my mom and husband said, i don’t care all i know is that i won’t leave john, i started behaving rudely to my husband ,i kept finding ways to make him fight with me and maybe divorce me so i could be with john, then i made a plan.
“Rolake come here” i shouted as i called her.
“Yes ma” she answered as she knelt down.
“There is something, i want to discuss with you, and you must do it” i said.
“What is that ma? She answered.
” i want you to seduce my husband ” i said smiling.
“What ? Madam, no i can’t do that ooo, God forbid ” she shouted.
“You must be very stupid, i said you do something and you are saying you can’t do it, are you mad? I shouted angrily.
“Yes ma , i mean no ma, i can’t do that, me and oga that’s not possible ” she said.
“Arolake ,if you can’t do what i told you today when my husband comes back from work then i will be the one to sack you” i said angrily.
“Madam please, ok madam i will do it , please don’t sack me please” she pleaded.
“Ok, i am going out now, you must do it before , i come ,so i will meet you guys on it” i said with a sly smile on my face, if my husband sleeps with my housemaid then i catch them, then i will be able to divorce him, then i will marry john, i said in my mind happily.
” how will i do it madam? Arolake asked.
“What a stupid question Arolake, you are a girl, so you ought to know how to seduce guys, all the yoruba films you watched , where the housemaid will sleep their oga, use their tactics na” i said facing her.
” see, i am going out know, my husband will come back soon, i will be at the neighbourhood, i will come back soon, i must meet you guys on it, ok ” i said.
“Ok ma” she answered shivering.
“Dont worry , if you are able to accomplish the mission , i will give you hundred thousand ” i said smiling.
“Thank you oga, don’t worry, i will do it” she said bravely.
“Ok, be a good girl ” i said as i went out.
One hour later.
Are you mad? Someone shouted, i entered into the house with the hpoe of meeting my husband and my maid on the bed , but i saw was different they were in the sitting room, arolake was kneeling.
“What sort of rubbish is that how can you just enter my room naked? David shouted angrily.
“Babe what’s wrong? I asked pretending as if i don’t know what occurred.
“Babe welcome, could you believe , what happened today, our dirty maid right here , that was sent from the marine kingdom to destroy marriages, she tried to seduce me today, when i came back from work, i went into the room to off my cloth , then she came in naked trying to seduce me” he shouted.
“What? I shouted.
“Yes babe, the funniest part was that ,she said you were the one that that told her to do it, that was the dumbest lie i have heard of she must think am a fool” he said laughing. David she is saying the truth , i said in my mind.
“Arolake are you mad? How can you seduce my husband ” i said shouting as i pretended as if i was angry.
“But madam you were the one that told that”
” told you what? Arolake told you what” i shouted angrily as i interrupted her.
“See babe, there is no need to shout , i must not see her in this house again” david commanded. Arolake started begging and crying, but it were all in vain , my husband desicion was final. That how i implicated my maid.
“Mom , there is something i want to tell you” i said to my mum.
” Tell me shewa am all ears” she said.
” mom i am tired of my marriage, i want a divorce ” i said.
” God forbid, in Jesus name, that’s not possible, i reject that for you, marriage of four months 
, Are you serious at all? She asked angrily.
“Mom, i am serious, i am really tired of this marriage, it was not as if i really loved him, you were the one that forced me to marry him, and i am tired, mom i am not happy at all” i said.
“Oh , your father’s village people are really after you, we prayed for you to get married now you are married and the next thing is that you want to divorce your husband that good man, you must be out of your senses, when you said you wanted to discuss something with me , i thought you were pregnant, i was even happy,i didn’t know , it was foolish discussion, see adeshewa you can’t divorce that man ooo, you die there, over my dead body, you better go home and cook for your husband ” she said angrily as she walked. I have to divorce david , i don’t care all that matters most is my happiness.
“Shewa ,why are you moody today? John asked caressing my hand.
” i am not happy , everyone doesn’t want my happiness ” i said sadly.
“Babe, i want your happiness , your happiness is all that matters” he said.
” i know, but i have to divorce david , so that we can be together ” i said sadly.
“Shewa, you are all i need, i don’t care maybe you are married or not, what i know is that i love you, i care about you, since you told me everything on the phone, then i decided to find solution to your problem ” he said smiling.
“What is the solution ” i asked impaintently.
” i know one herbalist in our village, so i went to him and i told him about your husband , then he gave me the medicine that you will use for your husband, once you use it, he will hate you, and divorce you later, your love in his heart will be replaced with hatred ” he said smiling.
“Ha , i dont anything like that , anything diabolical or whatever ” i said as i rejected the offer.
” babe, see i really love you, i can’t share you with another man, i am a human being, see darling, this is the only way out use this medicine for your husband then he will hate you ,after divorcing him then we will get married adeshewa, you will be my lovely wife not his, think adeshewa think” he said as he held my hands, i don’t even k now what to do, but i really want to be John’s wife.
I later accepted the medicine from john cause i had no option, i decided to use it, but on my way home , i met a woman.
“Young lady don’t use that medicine for your husband it is dangerous ” she said looking at me, i was so shocked how did the woman know.
“Young lady, don’t use the medicine for your husband , it is dangerous” she repeated as she walked away. I was so shocked, but that doesn’t stop me at all , i must get rid of david, so i can be with john the love of my life.
” God, please show me a sign , whether i should use the medicine or not” i knelt down as i prayed to God.
” babe, did you also pray for me” he said smiling.
“Yes, i did” i said .
“So what was your prayer request ? He asked. Even i pray for you the only prayer is that you should divorce me, i said in my mind.
” i prayed that God should grant you long life in peace and wealth ” i said as i lied.
“Amen, thank you sweetie ” he said as he hugged me.
The next day.
On Saturday my husband was at hone with me that was when i decided to use the medicine, i woke up and went straight to the kitchen and began to cook.
“Babe, is my eyes deceiving me? Are you really cooking” he said because he was suprised.
“Yes babe, i want to change, i want to learn how to love you, so i am going to be a good wife as from now on” i said as i lied.
“Oh babe, i have been waiting for ages, thank God , i really wished that one day you will accept me truly, thank God you did” he said as he hugged me.
” Now go and freshen up, let me serve your food” i said smiling.
“Okay darling ” he said as he walked away excitedly. Then i poured the potion in his food and i mixed it together. Few minutes later he came down and sat on the dining chair.
“Babe why did you not dish our food together ” he asked.
“I have eaten my own portion before, so i don’t want to disturb you, i just to watch you as you are eating ” i said smiling.
“Ok darling ” he said as he began to eat .
“OMG, shewa this food is very delicious, i didn’t know you can cook like this” he said as he was eating.
“Yes darling, your wife can cook , i am so proud of myself ” i said arrogantly. Then we laughed together, i wish this is the last time i will cook for you, the person i want to be cooking for is john, i said in my mind. Then he finished the whole food , then suddenly he began vomiting.
“David what wrong? I asked, as i moved closer to him, i was so afraid, he fell down and started rolling on the floor.
“David please stop na, stop all this drama i am getting scared ” i said shaking, but it seems as if david wasn’t joking because, he was vomiting blood.
I had to call the gateman to help me, we carried david into the car and rushed him to the hospital, the nurses laid him on a stretcher and carried him into the hospital, i was shivering were i was sittted , i was so afraid, God please let david survive that was the only prayer on my mind.
” who brought the patient ? The doctor asked when he came out of the ward. The nurse pointed at me
“Yes i am the one” i said as i stood up. The doctor looked at me and shook his head.
“How are you related to him? He asked.
“I am his wife ” i said.
“Please follow me” he said, then i followed him and we went to his office together.
“We tried all we could ma’am , am sorry we lost him” the doctor said sadly.
” lost as how, doctor i hope he is save , tell me if he needs blood , i am ready to give him” i said .
“Ma’am , there is no need for blood, i am sorry ma’am , he is dead” the doctor. I was so shocked david is dead no that can’t be true, david that i talked and laughed with one hour ago that’s not possible. The doctor had to call his remaining family members from the list i filled, because i was still in shock.
The mourning was so much, i was just crying, was i the one that killed him, i hope the drug john gave me was not poison, i started having guilt feeling, i was afraid, the way David’s sister was looking at me was so suspicious , she was glaring at me, i was afraid to look into her eyes , i don’t know why. After one week the David’s family members wanted to bury him, but his younger sister refused that they shouldn’t bury her brother now, they should know what killed him. I was afraid because when she said that she looked at me.
“Arrest her she is the one that killed my brother” david youger sister said as she came with police officers . I was home mourning my husband when david younger sister came with officers.
“No, i did not kill my husband, sis in law what are you saying? I asked looking at her.
“Maam, you have to remain slient, anything you say will be used against you in the court of law, we have the evidence that you killed your husband, so move” the policeman said as he handcuffed me .
