Greg has never been this heart broken, he watched Sophie leave the house. Maybe its him, he did something wrong. He thought of running after her to ask her what he did wrong, but it would be childish of him, because she was already with another man.

In the living room where he sat he broke the remote in his hands, for 5years he has been driving Sophie, 5years of holding his feeling for her. Just yesterday that he thought at long last something was happening between them, He got thrown away? Its over he said to himself, his heart was heavy.

Sophie went out with her boyfriend Joe, even though she hasn’t seen Joe for 6years, she didn’t know why she called him. Where are we going to? she asked. I have this little house I rented, we would be staying there till I figure out something. Joe replied.

Thank you go coming to get me. Sophie said. Its no problem. Joe replied. Joe noticed how Sophie was unsteady with him.

Are you alright? Joe asked. Me, yah, I’m good, just lost my company and properties, that’s why I have been shaking, I really want to get back my properties. She said. its going to be alright. Joe said.

Meanwhile in the car, Sophie has been thinking about the previous night with Greg, but he was just an ordinary driver, I don’t have any feelings for him, its because I have stayed with him for too long, there’s nothing there. All I have to do is go away from him.

Is this the house? Sophie asked immediately Joe stopped the car in front of a house which was alone in a lonely environment. I love quietness. he replied. Just take your stuffs and enter the house, see you in a minute. Joe said and gave her the keys to the house. Joe waited to make a call as soon as Sophie went into the apartment.

Greg was still in his house thinking about why Sophie would just leave like that, then he heard a knock on the door. He was too upset to open the door, but then again the knock became persistent that he had to go open the door. It was Joy and Mabel. Sophie’s best friend.

Hey Mr handsome Mabel said immediately he opened the door and let them in. Where is Sophie? Joy asked. She left. He replied. Where to? Joy asked. I don’t know she left with Joe. Joe, light skinned with beards? Joy asked to verify. Yes. Her ex? Why would she do that? Joy asked.

Joy brought out her phone to call Sophie, just then a message entered the phone from Sophie, it was the address of the place she was with Joe. She just sent her address. Joy said. Alright. Greg said. Are you going with us or what? Joy asked.

She is okay, I guess she don’t need me. Greg said. Mabel and Joy looked at him in surprise. Really? Joy asked. Just then her phone rang. It was Sophie. Can you come over to the address I sent you? Sophie said with a shaky voice. It was like she was in a danger. It think Sophie is in danger. Joy said. Immediately Greg went to his neighbors apartment to borrow his car and he Gave him the car. They ladies came outside and entered the car. Greg drove as fast as he could to the address Sophie sent to Joy.

Meanwhile when Joe took Sophie to his house. Why are you punishing that young man? Joe asked Sophie. What do you mean punish? She asked him. You are pushing him away same way you pushed me away. He loves you and you know that. he told her.

I didn’t push you away, you traveled. Sophie said. That’s what you believed. Why don’t you want your self to be loved? Joe said. Not now Joe, I have a lot going on. She said. Then tell him you want to take things slow, rather than running away? Joe said. For all I know he might be a gold digger. Sophie said. Don’t be too harsh with your words. Joe said. Joe if you don’t want me in your house, you can as well ask me to leave. This behavior of yours, Arrogant, Not wanting to hear what others has to say, is what is pushing people away from you. Do you know that your staffs nick named you Miss Arrogant? Joe said. There was a bit quiet in the house. I have friends. Sophie said. You think? Joe replied.

That was when Sophie had to call her friends. They thought she was in danger. That was when Joe drove them to the address. Immediately they got to the apartment. Joy Knocked on the door and Joe opened. Sophie Rushed to meet them, then she saw Greg.

She paused immediately she saw Greg. You came. She said. Yah. I did. Mabel looked at both of them. Okay what’s going on here. Joe its been Long. Joy said. Yah I came. Greg said. I thought you were in danger. Joy and Mabel moved to Joe, they wanted to view the drama that would go on between the two. I didn’t know you cared that much. Sophie said. I do. Greg said.

I love you Sophie, I know you are my boss. But I can’t hide it anymore. Greg said. I don’t know what to say. she replied. You don’t have to say anything. He said. They both stared at each other for a couple of minutes, then they kissed passionately. After 1 minutes of intense kissing. They withdrew their lips and hugged. Thank you. Sophie lip told Joe. You are welcome Joe said.

Just then Sophie phone rang and it was her step mother Veronica. She picked up the call after she called the second time. I know how to get your company and properties back. Veronica said. Really? Sophie asked. Meet me at the house. Veronica said.

She hang up the call and Sophie screamed in excitement. I’m getting back my company. There was joy in the house. Joe went and brought wine; Sophie was celebrating with her friends then all of a sudden she collapse and fainted.

Sophie! Sophie!! her friends called but she could only hear that echo of their voices.
