Please read this if you have a covenant agreement with God that your marriage will NEVER fail:

One time my bestfriend Chocolate and I were ministring together in the city of Owerri. It was explosive, the atmosphere was electric as the power of the Holy Ghost filled up the room to the brim.

I had just finished ministering when Bestie came up to have her turn. She was in top gear, pacing back and forth the room releasing powerful utterances as the power of God was ministering to souls.

Then out of the blues, gbraaaaa! Something weird happened.

Babe left the podium where she was praying and started to walk towards me. I was standing at the minister’s corner of the church. At first I thought, “oh, she wants to come lay hands on me, okay, let me brace up to receive.” If that was the case then it wouldn’t have been a first, cos she has done that a lot of times during a ministration. But no, Aunty walked straight at me, leaned into me and whispered, “Babe, please can I remove my shoes?” ??

Wait, you will not understand this until I tell you that I begged her to wear those heels to the meeting, she wanted to go on some nice and comfy sneakers, but I insisted on the heels. Asking me if she can take them off and ministers barefoot sent me into a state of parripasu, whatever that means.?? Ha! For the first 5 seconds I was in a state of limpotic-eluelu, whatever that means again. I was just having a mixed feeling of shock, weirdness and disbelief. I mean, she could have taken those shoes off if she wanted to, why did she have to ask my permission? I don’t understand.

But guess what? I did not waste a thought, I just said “yes babe.” And right there infront of the whole congregation, I got down to help her take the shoes off myself. ?

Brothers,
Submission comes naturally to a woman who is confident in the man she is submitting to. I shared this story just to say this aloud!

She will ask your permission and regard your opinion as priority over hers not because she wants your approval to do it, but because she wants your connection.

She will listen to you not because she fears you with a phobia, but because she respects you with a covenant.

For a Godly woman, submission comes easy when she knows you are also being led by God.

In that instance I could have been so selfish, and so insensitive to tell her “no, leave your shoes on”. But I wasn’t the one speaking, the real person who she is submitting to spoke on my behalf – The Holy Spirit.

Aunties please, Submission is one of God’s strongest covenants in marriage, until you find a man who can lead you the way God wants you to be led, please, stay single for another month. Until you find a man who is consciously willing to let God speak on his behalf please wait another week.

It is easier to fan the flames of a man who is already burning!

If you find yourself struggling to honor his priesthood, it means you are under the wrong annointing.
