After Nepa (Funny Short Story) – Victor Firdance
So there is this light they call after nepa that uses a finger battery.
One is sold at #300 in my former area.
I bought 6 of them and enough finger batteries that’ll take me for a month.
Guys, follow up this secret if you don’t have fuel money like me.
Every night, I’ll ON one and keep in my bathroom, one in my kitchen, and 4 in my bedroom.
I lived in a spacious self-contained in my former compound so this makes the room so bright that you’ll think it’s nepa.
Sense will not k!ll Victor Firdance 
I didn’t know there was a lady in my neighborhood that felt I usually use solar because you won’t hear a sound of generator even though I have but light was always shining every night till morning even when there’s no power supply in the environment.
Even though I am a night crawler, I stay indoors more so I am always home and VianceTea is 90% operational online.
If you see me outside during the day, you go think say I be ajebutter because of how soft, fresh and fair that I am but na kpako levels we dey operate base on packaging. Shey you grab because e go better one day.
One day, while heading out to buy bread and groundnut with chilled pepsi so I can cool my temperature, she saw me, smiled at me, and said I smell wealthy. I responded Amen!
I thought she was referring to my cologne but then I was wrong.
She said to me, i can’t believe a young guy of your level uses solar in a self-contained that she’s impressed I am giving myself the best treat even as a bachelor.
My village people wanted to disgrace me with laugh so I just smiled, told her thank you and gave her a warm hug. She requested for my contact and went her way.
Months after, we fell in love oo.
When it was time for her to visit my house, I stopped using my solar energy. 
It is not Victor Firdance you will catch.
So after she came to my house, I had to stop using the After Nepa she assumed to be solar so I don’t fall my hands. I packed all and hid them somewhere.
I started using my generator day and night.
This is to tell you that it takes a lot to cover a lie even though she assumed I was some sort of a big boy using solar. I was supposed to open up though, but me, I lock up!
Since she was in the neighborhood, she visited frequently so I was careful o.
Our love got heated and we enjoyed each moment.
Men, you see women, fear them!
So, there was a day I was looking for a particular document that had to do with my eatery so she joined in searching for it because we started dating at the time I was building.
By this time, I had forgotten about the After Nepa and my mind wasn’t there at all.
So, my babe, while searching with me, saw the After Nepa she assumed to be solar where I hid it and kept quiet. She knew that was the solar I told her was under maintenance.
Shortly after, we found the eatery document.
We rearranged the house and while on that, my babe started smiling at me.
Being curious, I asked her why she was smiling but she continued smiling more before I joined her ignorantly.
Three nights after, my babe asked me when the solar was going to be ready that we’ve spent a lot on fuel. I looked at her and said I have not heard from the operators.
The next day, I was out for VianceTea delivery and my babe asked me to branch her pharmacy where she worked and get a parcel for her.
I went there and saw a big carton all wrapped and took it home. It was really heavy but my mind didn’t question it.
When I got home, my babe was so happy that finally, her parcel arrived from China but she got it for me and insisted I open it myself.
At this point, I started shouting for joy!
People of God, I opened the big carton that was so heavy and saw SIX NEW AFTER NEPA with my books and shoes which made the carton very heavy.
She hugged me and said baby, I got you the six solar energy since you told me the other one was under maintenance.

In milliseconds, we started laughing and rolling on the floor uncontrollably.
We laughed over it for one week!
We shared beautiful moments while it lasted.
