Practical day

Jerry’s POV

I stood up from my bed and yawned ,i checked the wall clock in my room; 8:00…
I better get under the shower…
I finished brushing and bathing and i walked back to my room with a towel tied around my waist..I opened the wardrobe to search for the cloth am gonna wear..I finally settled for a grey sweatshirt with a jean trouser…I dried my body before putting on my singlet and boxer accompanied by the grey sweatshirt and jean trouser..I stood in front of the mirror to brush my hair…I finished the dressing stuffs and went out of the room..I saw my breakfast on the table with a note..
My mum owns a little cafeteria down the street,so she normally leaves home early and i also go there after school then we will back at night together…

Note;
” Jerry,you can invite your friend over to the cafeteria after the practical,i kept the plywood in a polythene bag beside the couch..Bye darling”
I smiled and sat down to eat my breakfast,then i remembered the girl with the golden curls..Heard her name is kristin.
She’s so beautiful and i cant help but keep staring at her..She caught me and i quickly turned away feeling a little embarrassed…
I finished eating my breakfast and stood up,i wore my white snickers,tucked the address in my pocket and took the house key…I carried the polythene bag containing the plywood and headed out of the house…

Elara’s POV

“Ara” I heard my name still sleeping..
“Ara stand up and go have your bath. It’s 8:30 and you said your friend told you before 9:00” Granny said..
“Huh, 8:30?” I asked jumping up from the bed…
“Yes,go and have your bath” Granny said and left…
I stood up from the bed and opened my cupboard,i brought out a silky jumpsuit with flowery designs..
I spread it on the bed with my undies.. Before going into the bathroom…I finished bathing and brushed my teeth..

I walked back to my room and started getting dressed as fast as i can..The jumpsuit is a little tight on me,but i can’t change it cos it’s the best out of my clothes..The others are worn in the house…
I combed through my hair and packed it in my normal ponytail..I picked up my “friendship” Bracelet and wore it on my wrist smiling…
I showed granny the bracelet yesterday and she said it’s beautiful that Kristin is a very kind girl..And i can tell granny like Kristin even without seeing her yet..
I walked out of my room….And met granny already eating her breakfast on the dining…
“Granny why didn’t you wait for us to eat together” I whined.
“Ohh..Sorry Ara,sit and eat yours. I’ve helped you dish it out”
“Ok granny” I said sitting down…I finished eating and wore my old sandal…holding the address of Kristin’s house in my hand..
“Bye granny”
“Bye,make sure you concentrate on your practical ok?” Granny said..
“Ok granny.Bye” I said walking out of the door..

Jerry’s POV

I got to the house and knocked on the gate,the security man opened the gate…
“Good morning” I greeted..
“Good morning,are you jerry?” The security man asked..
“Yes” I said and he allowed me in..
Wow..This is a mansion..The house is very big and beautiful,painted cream with cool blue..I saw Braylen’s blue benz parked beside other cars..I saw a ten…

The security man gave me a cold stare and i quickly walked towards the door of the main house..I knocked and an old woman,not very old opened the door..
“Good morning ma” I greeted..
“Morning are you jerry?” She asked…

“Yes”
“Ok,you can come in” She said stepping aside..I entered and she shut the door..
The interior is more beautiful,the chairs and curtains are in the same colour..The marble tiles is so neat and shinny,i can see my reflection on it..
“Braylen,your friend is here” The woman shouted..

“I’m coming” I heard the faint voice of braylen…
“You can sit” The woman said pointing to a couch and walked away..
I nodded and sat,feeling like sitting on the couch forever..

I saw Braylen coming from the stairs,he smiled when he got to me,i also smiled and stood up…He gave me a little hug and we both sat down..
“Hope it wasn’t difficult locating this place” Braylen asked..
“not at all” I replied..
“What would you like to have?”
“Actually,i just finished having my breakfast before coming” I replied..

“Ohh..ok,is this the plywood” He asked opening the polythene bag i brought..
” Yes it is”
“Should we start the practical now,or you want to rest a little?”…Braylen asked
“Let’s start now” I replied almost eagerly..
” Ok then,let’s go break the bottles first” He said standing up and i followed him eager to get the practical started…

Elara’s POV

I knocked on the gate of the address Kristin gave me and the security opened the gate..

“Good morning” I greeted
“Good morning,you can come in. Kristin is already expecting you” He said .
“Ok” I said entering the compound…

Wow! I exclaimed loudly..

Kristin’s house is big and beautiful,painted white and gold,the cars are parked neatly under a very big shade..I saw a wide pool at the other end of the compound..
I walked to the door and knocked..A young lady wearing an apron opened the door..
“Good morning” I greeted..
” Good morning,come in kristin has been expecting you” The young lady said..
“Ok” I said and entered..

OMG !! This is paradise…

The sitting room alone will worth billions,the sitting room is also painted white and gold together with the couches and curtains..The couches are looking so soft…On the ceiling is a chandelier glittering with colourful lights..The furnitures are all sparkling..
“Ela, i heard and turned to see Kristin coming down from the stairs smiling,she’s wearing a white turtle-neck with a short pink skirt and also pink flip flops,her hair us bundled together and on her wrist is our “Friendship” bracelet..

“Kristin” I also called as she got to me,we hugged and sat…
“I’ve been expecting you” Kristin said..
” Sorry it was because i woke up late,am not used to waking early on saturdays” I said.
“Ok what do you care for?”
” Thanks but nothing,i’ve taken my breakfast before coming” I replied..

“Ok let’s go to my room” She said dragging me along the stairs.I followed her and can’t help but being amazed at the interior of the house..We got to her room and she opened the door..We entered the room and…Wow! This is a little paradise..

There is a little couch at the side of the well spread bed..A flat screen television plastered on the wall opposite her bed..A shoe rack containing different types of colourful shoes and also a wardrobe beside it…There is a shelf containing cosmetics with a big mirror placed in front of it…Almost everything in her room is in colour pink..
“Kristin, it seems you like pink alot”
“Yes pink is my favourite colour” She replied..
“Your room is very beautiful” I said still admiring the room..

“Thanks,should we start the practical now?” She asked..
“Ofcourse yes” I replied and she opened the little drawer attached to the shelf and brought out the straws…
“Can i get a scissors?” I asked and she nodded bringing out two scissors..
We sat on the bed gisting and playing while cutting the straws for the practical..

4:00 pm
( Braylen’s residence)

Braylen’s POV

We both sat on the bed exhausted after the practical. It was a lizard we constructed on the plywood and it’s looking so beautiful and neat..
“Jerry let’s go to the dining to eat” I said getting up..
“Actually my mum asked me to invite you over to her cafeteria after the practical if you don’t mind” Jerry said..

“Really?” I asked a little excited.
“Yes”…
“Let’s go then” I said walking to my wardrobe,i brought out a denim jacket,removed the one i was putting on before and changed into the denim jacket..

“Let’s go” I told jerry and we both headed out of my room..
“Nanny” I called on getting downstairs
“Yes”

“My friend’s mum invited me over to her cafeteria,i won’t take long” I said..
“Ohh…Ok bye then” Nanny said..
“Goodbye ma” Jerry said to nanny.
“Goodbye ma” Jerry said to nanny.
“Goodbye dear” Nanny replied..
We both went outside and entered my blue benz..The driver drove off with Jerry giving him directions..
I’m so hungry,i can’t wait…

4:30 pm
(Kristin’s Residence)

Kristin’s POV

We finished our practical laughing and playing,smearing gum(the one we used for the practical) all over our clothes and face..the little bird house is so beautiful..All thanks to Ela..
” Ela , am so hungry” I said sitting up..
“Me too” Ela said

“Let’s go shower and change our clothes before going downstairs cos aunt senora is gonna scream and run out of the house thinking we are something else” I said and we both bursted out laughing..
“Let’s go to the bathroom” I said dragging Ela along..

We got to the bathroom and pulled off our gum sticked cloth folded it neatly and kept it on the bathroom cabinet. I wore my shower cap and also gave Ela one,we pulled the “friendship bracelet and kept it on the sink..
We got under the shower and started bathing splashing laughing and splashing water on ourselves …

We finished showering and i gave Ela a towel,i also took one for myself and we both went out of the bathroom…
I opened my wardrobe and brought out two short gowns,it’s the same thing but the colour is different..

” Ela,i will go with the pink,will you be okay with the blue?” I asked..
“Ofcourse Yes” She said smiling..

We dried our bodies and applied lotion…We wore the gowns and it looks nice and simple,i gave Ela a blue flip flops to match with the blue gown she’s wearing and i also wore my pink flip flops…We removed our shower caps,Ela brushed her hair and applied the hair growth oil before packing it back in a ponytail…I also trimmed and applied the oil on my curls..We wore our “friendship” bracelet and we both stood before the mirror….

“Am i really the one” Elara asked gazing at her reflection in the mirror..

“Yes ofcourse,you are looking so beautiful” I said to her..

“Thanks Kristin,you are also looking stunning” she said and we both smiled..
We were about going out of the room when i thought of something..

“Ela, why don’t we just stroll to the cafeteria on the second estate,they have nice meals”..
“OK” Ela said and we both headed downstairs..
“Aunt senora,we are going to the cafeteria on the second estate” I said
“Okay kristin”
We walked out of the main house into the compound and the driver opened the door of my pink lexus..

“No bro dave,we aren’t going far. We are just gonna stroll to the cafeteria,eat and come back…The driver nodded and we both walked out of the gate…

We were playing and strolling getting uncontrollable stares from people..
We got to the cafeteria and entered,about sitting when we heard;

“Elara”

We both turned and saw Braylen sitting wi..with…
My heart did a double flip when i saw him…
