The next day at school
Braylen’s POV
My driver dropped me at school and i walked to my class,i sat and brought out my phone as usual,i was playing games and smiled when i remembered what happen yesterday after Nanny caught me in the kitchen….
I saw Elara walked into the class and went straight to her locker,she dropped her bag and sat down facing the front of the class,probably waiting for a teacher to come in.
Why is she so cold?
She cant even say “hi” she’s too beautiful to always be frowning..
“Hi, i heard myself say facing Elara,she turned to look at me and looked away…
Didn’t she heard?
“Hello” i found myself saying again..She turned to look at me and looked away again…
“What the hell” she definitely heard me but was only ignoring.
She hasn’t opened her mouth to talk since yesterday,even when i saw kristin talking to her..
Is she deaf?…No someone as beautiful as this cant be deaf and besides this school is definitely not for deafs…
But no girl has ever ignored me,i know how some girls would have jumped in excitement after i said hi,but she didn’t even seem moved…
“Who is she?” i kept thinking…
Nicky and co entered the class giggling…
“Hey Braylen” Nicky said and sat on my table.
“Hi” i said forcing a smile..
“Braylen you are looking more cute this morning” Nicky said smiling..
“Thanks” i said,i cant wait for her to get down from my locker….
“Nicky come and see this design,its so beautiful” one of her friends said holding nicky’s purple ipod.
I was glad when she stood up and went to her friend..
She was coming back to my locker when a teacher came in..I saw her dissapointed face as she went back to her sit…I was glad the teacher came in on time..
Elara’s POV
I heard a cool voice say “hi” and i cant help but turn..
It turns out to be braylen!
I looked away from without replying his greetings,still surprised he said “hi” to me…
“Hello” i heard the cool voice said again,i turned to look at him again and his cute face almost melted my heart.I felt like replying his greetings but i just cant…
Just then Nicky and her two puppies came into the class,i looked down at my locker to avoid meeting nicky’s deadly glare,she walked pass me with her hip brushing my shoulder roughly…
She sat on braylen’s locker and i cant help but steal glances at them,i saw braylen smile at what she’s saying and i felt a pinch in my heart.
“What!”
I definitely know what that pinch meant. It meant jealousy!
Why the hell would i be jealous?
Oooh, what’s happening to me?
Or…Better still, what’s braylen doing to me?
A teacher entered the class…And she taught us for 2 hours, i was already feeling exhausted and moreover the teacher or would i say the subject is very boring..
I was glad the teacher finally left,but immediately she left another teacher came in and they kept coming in nonstop till break..
At the cafeteria
Braylen’s POV
I entered the cafeteria and ordered my meal,i was carrying it out to the garden where i normally eat when Elara walked pass me with her lunch box in hand into the cafeteria..
I shrugged and went to the garden behind the school,i sat down on the grass and started eating my meal,the garden is so cool and silent,students dont like coming here because they think its old and boring but i find the garden most interesting,with the colourful flowers and butterflies and also with cool breeze always blowing through my hair…
Elara’s POV
I entered the cafeteria and found an empty table ,i sat down and started eating fast so i can go out of the cafeteria before nicky comes in but the cafeteria went silent and i know who just came in…..
