Braylen’s POV
My driver drove into the compound,i jumped out of the car and rushed into the house going straight to the kitchen,i entered the kitchen and saw nanny but i was too hungry to greet,i grabbed the first pancake and shoved it in my mouth,i was savouring the taste with my eyes closed when i felt a hard knock on my head.
“Ouuch” i said and opened my eyes rubbing the place i was knocked, i already knew who did it.
“Silly boy,you entered without greeting an elderly woman,and the next thing you did is to shove a pancake into your mouth..
“I’am sorry nanny, i was hungry” i said opening the freezer,and brought out a juice..
“Braylen dont tell me u didn’t eat at school today” nanny said.
i already know what will come next so i quietly grabbed three more pancakes with my juice and ran out of the kitchen…
“Braylen come back here,you haven’t answered my question” she yelled .
“Yes i didn’t eat at school” i yelled back from the stairs holding my laughter,i entered my room and quickly lock my door.
I dropped my bag and sat on the bed to devour the pancakes and juice…
I finished eating and went to the bathroom to shower,i changed into polo and a short….I percieved the aroma of puntas(mexican dish)
Damn!
Am still very hungry,i cant go into the kitchen for now because i know what nanny is gonna do to me…I heard footsteps..Nann
y is going back to her room.
I quietly opened my door and tiptoed to the kitchen,i took a plate and quicky dished out some puntas,i took a spoon and turned back to my room when i saw nanny at my back….
Damn! I’am dead
Elara’s POV
I got home and met granny sleeping on the couch,i pecked her and she opened her eyes,she’s a light sleeper.
“Good afternoon granny” i greeted .
“Ara” She called sitting up.
“How was school today?” she asked.
I thought about my experience with Nicky but i dont want to bother her.
“Fine granny” i said.
“Oh i didn’t see it at first…Your uniform looks nice on you” granny said
“Thanks granny” I said smiling
“Turn around let me see it well” granny said.. I smiled and turned around..
“Wow,so nice the shoes must be very costly,it looks so shinny and beautiful” Granny said.
“Yes granny, i really like it”.
“You should. It’s very nice…” Granny said.
I nodded and sat beside her on the couch..
“Ara how is the school?” Granny asked.
“Yes granny,its so big and beautiful” I said.
“Ara did you make friends at school today?” Granny asked.
I thought about kristin but cant tell granny about it,because i know she will definitely asked me to apologize to her and i cant,granny has always wanted me to leave my lonely state but i dont just want friends..
“No granny” I replied.
“Oh I know you will soon get along with people” she said
I shrugged and pulled off my shoes..
“Your meal is in the kitchen” Granny said..
“Ooh,granny you should’nt have stressed your self,you should have waited for me to come back from school and prepare it” I said with a little frown.
“No Ara,i know you will be tired by the time you are back,so quickly go into the kitchen and have your meal before it gets cold”
“Thanks granny” I said and pecked her before standing up and going into the kitchen..I ate my meal and went back to the sitting room.
I sat beside granny and we gisted till it was time to make dinner..
