Married To A Snake Goddess
Episode 5
Mike stood in the doorway of the bathroom, staring in shock at the enormous snake circling his baby. His breath caught in his throat as the creature’s red eyes locked onto his. For a split second, Mike froze, terror gripping his heart. But then, the sound of his son’s soft cries snapped him back into action.
Without thinking, Mike dashed out of the bathroom and down the hall to his room. His hands fumbled as he opened the wardrobe and pulled out the cutlass he had inherited from his father. It was old but sharp, and right now, it was the only weapon he had.
“I have to do this,” he whispered to himself, his heart pounding in his chest. “I have to protect my child.”
Cutlass in hand, he ran back toward the bathroom. The python was still there, its body coiling around the child, its forked tongue flicking in and out as if it were tasting the air, ready to strike. Mike’s stomach twisted, fear gripping him, but he couldn’t hesitate any longer.
With a cry of determination, he swung the cutlass down toward the snake’s head. The blade struck with a sickening thud, embedding itself deep into the serpent’s skull. The snake hissed violently, its body twisting and writhing in pain. Blood poured from the wound, splattering across the floor.
The snake tried to slither away, but it was too late. Mike had already swung again, the blade slicing deeper into its flesh. The creature’s movements grew weaker as it thrashed, blood gushing from the wound, pooling around the floor.
“Stay away from my son!” Mike shouted, his voice trembling with both fear and rage.
The snake’s red eyes began to dull, and its body convulsed one last time before it stopped moving. For a brief moment, Mike thought it was over. He exhaled, wiping the sweat from his brow, his heart still racing.
But then, something unbelievable began to happen.
The snake’s body started to convulse again, but this time, it wasn’t the thrashing of a dying creature. The scales on its body began to ripple, as if they were melting away. Mike stared in horror as the snake’s form shifted and shrank, its massive body folding in on itself.
“No… no, this can’t be,” Mike stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Before his eyes, the snake transformed. Its long, slithering body shortened, its scales giving way to pale human skin. Within moments, lying in a pool of blood where the snake had once been, was Linda.
Mike staggered back, dropping the cutlass in shock.
Linda lay on the floor, her chest rising and falling shallowly. Her hand clutched her neck, where blood was now seeping from the wound. Her face was pale, her once-beautiful features now twisted in pain and fear.
“Mike…” she gasped, her voice hoarse. “Help me…”
Mike stared at her, his mind reeling. She had been the monstrous snake he had fought to protect his child from.
His hands shook violently as he took a step toward her. “Linda… what?”
Linda’s body continued to weaken, her skin pale and slick with blood. But something even more horrifying was happening. The skin on her arms and legs began to peel away, as though it were shedding like a snake’s skin.
But Mike couldn’t move. His mind was caught between disbelief and terror. He watched as Linda’s human skin continued to peel away
After Linda skim had peeled completely off, mike saw…
