📖 PART 3📖 📖 THE OATH 📖

The lady’s name was Agatha.
And i fell in love with the lady, not knowing i was risking my life….

Agatha was so beautifully made, it was as if God took his time to mold her.
Her teeth in perfect shapes.

Her pillowy dimples showed when she smiled, and her dimples often showed because she often smiled.

Her height was perfect, not too tall, not short.
She was the size of Ini-Edo, an actress in the Nollywood industry.

Her skin was dark, shiny-dark. And she walked like a runway models.
Her hips rolling like an oiled beads.

Me and Agatha started to talk on phone, for days, for weeks and then for months. Our secret connection grew. Their love for each other grew.

But there was one thing I was forgetting, I was under an oath never to mangle with any other lady.

One day the thought of proposing to Agatha secretly, occupied my head to badly.
I was unaware that Vivian had mysteriously discovered my plan.
Probably, through means of witchcraft.

On the day I planned to propose to the beautiful lady, the proposal ring got lost.

I was very sure that i kept the ring in a private drawer in my office.
But the ring lost. Vivian’s handwork.

I also received a call from Agatha, saying that a woman called her on phone telling her to leave her husband alone.

I tried searching out for the number in her call logs later that evening but couldn’t identify any strange contacts.
I knew deep down it was Vivian’s handwork again.

Agatha was angry with me, “so you are married?”

At this point, i didn’t know how to explain, i simply told Agatha that i was not married. What was she talking about?

“Maybe the person called the wrong number” Agatha told herself.

That night in dream, Vivian seriously warned me not to try that none-sense with her again.
The nonessential and redundant act of trying to get myself another wife.

Vivian shouted “DO NOT CHEAT ON ME! REMEMBER THE OATH!” in that dream, and it sounded in my ears until i woke up.

When i woke up in the morning, i ignored the warnings, saying to myself that it was just a dream.

That same morning my mother called on phone and said
“How could you not get children when you are a successful man. You want people to start talking that you used your manhöod for môney rituals?” The old woman said, over the phone.

I later learnt that one of the ways to stop Vivian my wife from t0rmenting my moments with Agatha was by finding out a way to secretly escape to the far end of the country to establish a new life.

Later, Agatha called, telling me that she could not continue with our plan because something strange happened.

While She was finished dressing up to step out of the house, she saw herself totally nāked in the mirror…

To be continued….

Stay glue for the next episode.
