MARRIED TO MY GRANDMA’S GHOST – Lucy C Stories
Episode 1
After the death of Lucy’s grandmother, within some days, she started seeing her ghost every night whenever she attempts to sleep.
One night, she was done for the day and was about to lay her head on her pillow when a sudden strong breeze filled the room and her body became cool, she was sweating profusely initially but the sudden breeze cooled her body.
She loved the moment to the extent that she feels like the breeze shouldn’t stop because that night was really hot and the cool breeze decided to help matters.
Suddenly she felt like she was freezing as she jumped up from her bed and started shaking. She walked to her wardrobe to get a blanket but the cold got worse.
“Gosh! Why am I feeling so cold right now?” She asked herself as she rubbed her arms in shiver.
Suddenly the curtains started flying up and down, producing more cold breeze. “Arghhh! What the heck is happening, is anyone there?” She asked, still shivering but this time, looking around her room.
“Do not be afraid my dear,” someone suddenly spoke up and she recognized it to be her grandma’s voice.
“What? Granny? Again? Why do you keep haunting me?” Lucy asked in fear and the cool breeze suddenly came to an end.
“Why have you been turning down my offer all this while? Does it look like I’ll harm you or what? What do you even think about me?” Her Grandma asked and suddenly revealed herself to Lucy and Lucy shifted very far away from her initial position.
“Shh,” her Grandma came closer to her and Lucy tried slapping her but it didn’t work, she’s a ghost and it’s never supposed to work.
Goosebumps filled Lucy’s body as her heart kept beating so hard against her chest. “Granny, what haven’t we done for you? We gave you a befitting burial and everything was done properly. Why are you still haunting me? What exactly have I done?”
“You have done nothing dear,” her Grandma caressed her cheek and Lucy shifted her face.
“This is ev!l, you’re ev!l. I’ll forever h@te you for this! I don’t care if you’re de@d,” Lucy said.
“Shut up! Try to be respectful, don’t even think that you’re free to say anything you wish to me,” her Grandma replied and Lucy gasped. “Yes, I can harm you if i wish to.”
“But…,” Lucy tried to talk.
Her Grandma interrupted, “and again, shut up. Don’t say a word yet,” she ordered and brought out a ring from her invisible bag. “Will you marry me?”
“Granny, I can never marry a ghost and a female at that. Can you realize that I’m a female also? That’s never going to happen!” Lucy ranted and her Grandma cackled loudly like a w!tch.
Her face suddenly turned serious again like someone who never cackled. “I ask again, will you marry me?” Desperation was written all over her voice.
