Episode 5 THE END
It was a Saturday morning, normally Mr Lawrence doesn’t go to work on Saturdays so he was at home, he was having good time with his wife,they were discussing in the sitting room,he remembered what his friend told him.
“My love let’s get a house help..”Mr Lawrence said
“For what,why do we need a house help?”Mrs Joanah asked she was furious
“Because she needs to assist you”Mr Lawrence said
“Don’t I do my works myself,did I tell you that I need a house help”Mrs Joanah asked
“But honey at least we need to get a house help that will assist you now that you’re pregnant”Mr Lawrence said
“Don’t you know that some househelp are evils,oh I see you want to get a house help for your own benefit,she will cook and give you love portion that will make you chase me away,that’s not going to happen”Mrs Joanah screamed on top of her voice
“Honey I’m sorry you dont understand what I meant”Mr Lawrence pleaded
Immediately Mrs Joanah started crying,she climbed the stairs and went to the room,Mr Lawrence followed her,she entered her room,she dialed her mother in law number,it rang,her mother inlaw answered the call.
“Hello Mama”Mrs Joanah said as she was crying
Mr Lawrence entered the room,he saw his wife was on call,he waited for her to end the call before apologising to her
“Hello Joanah what’s it why is your voice like this”Her mother inlaw asked
“Mama it’s my husband oh,he wants to cheat on me by getting a house help,he will now be having an affair with her and soon he will chase me”Mrs Joanah explained
“Seriously,is he there with you”Her mother inlaw asked
“Yes Mama,let me give him the phone”Mrs Joanah replied she handed the phone to Mr Lawrence
“Hi mum”Lawrence greeted his mother
“Lawrence what I heard now,is it true that you want to get a maid”his mother asked
“Yes mum,so she can help my wife now she is pregnant, and I can concentrate on my father’s company”Mr Lawrence replied
“Hmmm that’s not a good idea,you don’t need to bring a house help”his mother said
“Alright mum I have heard”Mr Lawrence said and ended the call
“Honey I’m sorry for saying that, don’t worry is my responsibility to take care of you till you give birth to our baby”Mr Lawrence said as he petted his wife
“Okay”Mrs Joanah replied
“Clean your tears,my angel you don’t look beautiful if you cry”Mr Lawrence said,he helped his wife to wipe her tears away
“Thank you my love”Mrs Joanah thanked her husband and smiled
“But sweetheart try understand me alright”Mr Lawrence said
“Alright honey”Mrs Joanah replied
“Let’s go back to the sitting room, let’s buy more clothes for our baby girl”Mr Lawrence said
Mrs Joanah scan results shows, she is carrying a baby girl, that was why she and her husband ordered for baby girl clothes online.The delivery guy came on Monday and gave Mrs Joanah the clothes,she admired the clothes,they were beautiful,not only clothes they also bought other things like flask,Baby cream box which contains perfume,baby cream, powder,towel and baby wipes, they also bought many other things like baby hanger etc.
The 9th month time arrived and Mrs Joanah delivered a bouncing baby girl.the baby look beautiful like her mother.The doctor announced to Mr Lawrence the good news
“Congratulation sir, your wife has given birth to a bouncing baby girl.The baby and mother are fine”The doctor said as he handshakes Mr Lawrence
Mr Lawrence jumped happily,he rushed to the room his wife was,he kissed his baby girl on the forehead.
“Welcome my angel”Mr Lawrence said
The good news spread, Mrs Joanah mother was happy same too with Mr Lawrence mother,they were all happy
Mr Lawrence and Mrs Joanah dedicated their baby to the Lord and named her Ariella(meaning Lion of God).
