THE PREGNANT WIFE Episode 1 – Chidimma Lucky
Mr Lawrence and Mrs Joanah are newly married couples living in Abuja.Mrs Joanah was three months pregnant, when she started nagging and quarrelling her husband,she wasn’t a nagging type but her pregnancy made her to be so, before she got pregnant she was caring,she cook for her husband, and does all the house chores but now she was pregnant she do manage to do few works at home.
It all started one night Mr Lawrence came back from work and he was tired,he entered the room and saw his wife,she welcomed him.
“Sugar good evening”Mrs Joanah greeted
“Thank you Honey”Mr Lawrence replied as he removed his suit
Mr Lawrence went to the bathroom and freshen up, after that he put on his night wears,he didn’t wanted to bother his wife about food, he went to the kitchen and dish out food and ate,when he was done eating he went back to the bedroom
He entered the room and layed on the bed.
“Honey goodnight”Mr Lawrence said
“My sugar have you eaten”Mrs Joanah asked keenly
“Yes Honey”Mr Lawrence replied
“Wait you mean you ate alone?”Mrs Joanah asked
On hearing that the sleep that was in Mr Lawrence eyes left,he stood up from the bed to apologise to his wife
“Honey I’m sorry I didn’t want to bother you,I thought you’re tired that’s was why…”Mr Lawrence pleaded
“That was why what?…,do you know if I’ve eaten my dinner,you didn’t even care to ask your pregnant wife if she had eaten?”Mrs Joanah fired
“I’m sorry Honey,I didn’t know you haven’t eaten”Mr Lawrence replied
“I have not eaten yet,and I want you to serve me my own food”Mrs Joanah said
“Hmmm…”Mr Lawrence replied,he was tired
“What is it”Mrs Joanah asked
“Nothing,let me bring your food”Mr Lawrence replied and left the room.Few minutes he returned back to the room with a tray,he gave his wife the food she ate.
Mr Lawrence didn’t wasted time he just jumped back to the bed and slept off to avoid any disturbance from his wife.
It was early in the morning around 6am,Mr Lawrence woke up, he called his wife for them to pray but she was still deep asleep.
“Honey it’s morning already wake up,let’s pray”Mr Lawrence said
“It’s early I need to sleep more please”Mrs Joanah replied
