TANGLED WITH A MONSTER EPISODE 2 – Missing pen
It was a Saturday afternoon, by then everyone was out of the house to the farm. I picked up a bicycle and rode it to the stream where the trapped lady asked me to come.
**************
Upon getting to the river I saw her dressed on white gown. Then I could see the true beauty that she is. I walk close to her and held her hands.
I was still curious about who she really was and as if she knew of my curiosity she said to me before I could even ask. ” I come from the neighbouring village.”
While we were gisting I looked at her leg to recheck the wounds but they where all gone. I was terrified and wondered how a deep cut could disappear in less than 24 hours.
While we were playing I mistakenly touched her back and found out that there was something like a scale on her back.
I was definitely convinced that she was not an ordinary human, so I asked her to take me to her parents house but she refused.
I pretended everything was okay, then I asked her to join me to my house atleast to get to know my people. She saw no harm in it but gave me on only the condition that; I must keep water away from her.
I promised to do it even though I found it strange, “why would a normal human being seek not to get anywhere close to a water?” I asked myself silently. At some point I wanted to ask her the reasons but I never wanted to scare her away, so I kept mute
When we got to my house, every one welcomed her. Infact along the road no man could walk pass us without glancing at her, for she was a true epitome of beauty.
My grandmother after seeing her rushed inside and prepared her secret recipe ” pepper stew”. It was a stew only grandma was extraordinary good at in our family and we loved it so much.
When the food was ready Lydia didn’t know about the pepper so she joined me to eat the food. While eating I noticed her face changing reactions. I could tell she needed water.

I tried passing her a cup of water but she wouldn’t accept it. While eating we played all kind of romance with the food.
While trying to laugh at a joke I made, Lydia got choked by paper and started coughing real hard. I grow anxious and attempted to feed her water.
Lydia hit my hand away but unfortunately the water poured on her hand. Immediately that spot turned green.
I tried to look at it but she ran fast to the back yard. I checked the back yard and I figured out she was gone even though the house was fenced and no gate at the backyard.
