He got shocked when he saw the woman with his wife exchanging pleasantries with each-other excitedly

“Ahhhhh, Jesus Christ” he exclaimed shockingly

“Hope no problem Sir?” a Marchant that had been noticing his hide and seek curiously asked.

“Nothing” he said and moved away from him furiously

Adewale was unspecific about what he was supposed to do.

He waited a little to know what would end their undefined meeting

Adewale noticed there was an exchange of goods. The woman gave adewale’s wife a black polythene bag filled with only God knows and bade each-other goodbye excitedly

Adewale ran hurriedly to his wife. While running, he almost collapse on the provisions and goods arranged by some random traders in the market.

“Arike, Arike, who’s that woman that just left here now?” Adewale raised his voice at his wife.

“Honey, what is it? Why are you running? Hope no problem and besides, I thought you should be in your farm by now” she retorted surprisingly with high temperament

“Ah ah, Adewale, you need to calm down, no matter what it is the problem could be, you just need to calm down first. do you have any issue with her? She’s my friend and that’s all” she yelled

“Your friend?”

“Yes, she is?”

“You mean you’re a friend to this antēlōpe you called a friend?”

“Ehn… Antēlōpe” her face changed swiftly at him. There was a silent moment between adewale and his wife. She made a long strange and weird stare at Adewale

The whole market square became totally calm as they were watching the drama of the two couples

“Ohhh, so you know something about this, Arike..you know about that woman being an antēlōpe. Ohhhhhh, I knew it, there have been some secrets you’re been hiding from me” Adewale said
