SEND ME (BECOMING GOD’S Vessel) – APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN
A human vessel is someone who is willing to be used by God for whatever purpose He has in mind. Becoming God’s masterpiece is a process of allowing the Master Potter to mold us into His image producing a vessel that is useful. In this instance the vessel is a container, which is different from a utensil or an instrument. This vessel is meant to contain God. The potter in Romans 9 desires that the human, as a vessel, is to contain God himself.
God desires to gain man so that He can put Himself into man. God desires to have such a vessel that can contain Him and express Him here and now. This may sound very simple, but actually it is not simple. To pour water into a glass is simple because the glass has no will, emotion, or inclination of its own. Therefore we must empty ourselves, obey God, and consecrate ourselves to Him.
A VESSEL GOD CAN USE:
- Must be available and fit.
- Must be prepared unto every good works.
- Must also purge himself from ungodliness, you must separate yourself from anything that might compromise your testimony.
- Must be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
