Esther Final Part 4 – Emeka Edozie

I thought about how to make my wife apologize but nothing came to my mind until a golden opportunity presented itself.

I was resting on the bed while operating my phone because I was given a day off from work by my Boss.

My wife who was preparing to go to shop wanted to take her bath.

She removed her clothes and wrapped herself with her white towél as she entered the bathroom.

Immediately she stepped into the bathroom, the Staple of the door locked from the outside because of how hard she banged the door.

Whenever the door locks by itself, someone from outside must help to open it from outside or the person remains there.

I was still operating my phone when I noticed that she was pushing the door repeatedly from inside.

I acted as if I didn’t notice anything.

Soon enough,I heard her say.

“Someone should come and open this door for me”

I kept mute.

After about 10 minutes, she said.

“Come and open this door for me oo.how could you sit down comfortably pressing your phone when you know that someone is locked in the bathroom”,she yelled.

I just started singing a song.

After about 20 minutes in the bathroom, her voice changed.

“Baby, I am sorry. Can you come and open the door for me”, she pleaded.

I didn’t move an inch. After about 25 minutes, she started crying.

“Sweetie, I am so sorry for how I spoke to you that day. I am also sorry for not apologising whenever I do wrong. Please can you open the door for me”, she said.

I felt like I was dreaming.I never believed that Esy would ever in her life apologize.

I broke into laughter as I opened the door for her.

She jumped out and hugged me while kissíng me passionately.

“Honey, I am deeply sorry for whatever I had caused you”,she chuckled.

“Wait o, Esy, you apologized? Am I dreaming?Why did you decide to apologise?”I grunted.

I was still asking her questions on why she decided to apologise to me before she threw down her towel and pounced on me.
