That very evening, Flora has already packed few of her things, with her children own, while she also packed few of her husband’s clothes.. It’s still surprising to Mr Martins that his wife really had relatives in and she even knows the road to her village, but she lies to him earlier, she told him that her only families were abroad, and she got to know through some one, and that she wasn’t in a good relationship with them, so she will not invite them for her wedding, and the one that is still bothering Mr Martins now, though he has refused to believe that, is that the girl that always visits him at the office has the same shape like his wife, and when she touched his shoulder yesterday, her hands look exactly like that of his hand, the only difference is that there was no ring on her finger, because his wife always have her wedding ring in her finger, he has thought maybe his wife is possessed or she is not the one that is coming to his office, people might have the same features some times….. He was planning to take her and the children to one church that his secretary introduced him to, When he got there, the pastor told him that he won’t attend to him until he comes with his family, he already knew that his wife will not agree to go with him, but he has strategise a very good plan on how to bring her out of the house and take her to the church… But he was surprised when Flora told him that he will be taken her and her kids to her home town the next day, which is the same day he wanted to go with her to the church that his secretary had taken him to, in order to find solutions.. the one that is really annoying him and he is confused about it, is when Flora insisted that he must take them to the village, where by she has two cars of her own and she can drive very well, Mr Martins was just confused and doesn’t know what to tell her in order for her to change her mind, he has lied to her that he’s having an important meeting that day, but she told him that he was lieing, just like she was reading his mind, she told him that when they come back from the traveling that they can go to the church together, that was when Mr Martins understood that there was really something about his wife that he hasn’t found out.. he has asked her severally if she studied psychology, or anything related to reading of other people’s thought, but she ended up laughing at him and telling him that she doesn’t think such exist, he had asked her on one or two occasions if has a spiritual gift, but she ended up changing the topic immediately…. After so much argument between Mr Martins and his wife Flora about going to the church first to find solutions, before going to the village, since she has found out by herself that he had planned taking her to a church where he wants to seek solution, how she found out is still marveling Mr Martins because he is very sure he didn’t mention it to her, neither did anyone heard it when the pastor was saying it… Mr Martins later agreed with her, that when they returned from her village, that is when they will go to the church together… Early the next morning, they set out to Flora’s village, Mr Martins who was driving was feeling very strange that maybe something unusual might happen or something related to that, but the truth is that he was feeling uncomfortable, he will ask his wife if she is okay, because she was at the back sit with her children, but she always answered him that she’s very fine…. The drive to Flora’s village was taking almost four hours, but finally, with the direction of Flora, they got to Flora’s compound… When they got there, the first place that caught Flora’s attention was her grave that was situated at the front of their compound, Mr Martins who was watching her from where he stood was already feeling bad, he thought it was her mother or father’s grave, as he was about going close to where she stood, they heard a woman voice from the passage.. “ who has come to visit me today, without letting me know about the visit” the old woman was talking to herself while trying to close her door and see who drove into her compound, since her daughter was killed through raping by an unknown person which the police released because of bribe, though she always call fort her daughter to go and revenge every night when she’s alone, it’s only her nephews or nieces that comes to visit her, and they always inform her before coming, so she was surprised to hear a car horn in her compound… As soon as Flora heard her mother’s voice from the passage, tears flowed down to her cheeks, she has Missed that voice so much…, But she left where she was standing immediately, asked Mr Martins to get the children while she gets the bags from the boot….. .

“ please who are you and who are you looking for, Mr man?” The old woman asked Mr Martins who was carrying his two babies, while waiting for his wife to get the bags from the boot as she said, “ Good day ma, my name is Martins, I believe you are one of my wife’s aunt ma, it’s a pleasure to finally meet one of her relatives” Mr Martins said while going to hug the confused old woman, “ please,I think you are in the wrong place, am the only one staying here, and I have met with all my niece’s husband, and none of them is single, so I think you are in the wrong place my son” the old woman told Mr Martins, while also admiring the little kids he was carrying, she would have rushed to carry them, because they look very much like her late daughter Flora, tears tingled down her cheeks, but she quickly wiped it, so that Mr Martins won’t notice the tears.. “ I don’t think we are in the wrong place ma, my wife was the one who directed me to this very place, and she went to get the bags from the car boot, I don’t even know what is keeping her, Babe!, Babe!” Mr Martins was calling Flora but there was no reply, he decided to go to the car boot only to find out that there was no one there, he was surprised, he searched for her every where, but there was no one there,the bags were still in the boot, he was shocked to his bone… “ Mr man where is your wife that you said directed you to this place?, I told you that you have missed road… because I know all my niece’s husband’s, but I don’t know you, so just call your wife… But wait Mr man, who is even this your wife, I thought you said she went to get the bags from the car boot, why is she no longer there” the old woman who was now confused and curious to understand what is happening asked the confused and scared Mr Martins.. “ yes ma, my wife was the one that asked me to drive into this compound, and when she came back she went straight to that grave there, I think that was where her dad or any special relatives was buried.. then when she heard your voice, she asked me to carry out our babies while she brings down our bags.. but I don’t understand the reason why I can’t find her any where again… Or is it that am I dreaming, babe! Babe!!! Please if this is a prank stop it, you are scaring me please, just stop,” Mr Martins was saying, thinking that his wife was just trying to prank who so ever the woman was to her … “Wait, you said she was standing at this grave side?” The old woman whose curiosity was growing more, asked Mr Martins… “yes ma, that was the first place she went to stand, immediately she came down from the car, I was going to console her because she was crying, before you started walking out, while she rushed to get our bags.. but why she is not here is what I don’t understand…” Mr Martins said, already tired of the prank he thought his wife was playing on him…. “ you said she went to that grave and was shedding tears?” The woman asked… “ yes ma, I think that was were her beloved one was buried” martins answered… “ please what is this your wife’s name ?” The woman asked… “ My wife name?, Why are you asking, I thought you said I missed road?, So why asking about her name?..Mr Martins answered the woman, he was already tired of the game that is playing right now… “ just tell me your wife’s name, i might be of help to you infact come in, come and have sit, this kids looks stressed out, I think you guys are coming from far” the old woman told Mr Martins…. Mr Martins went in and sat on the chair that was in the corridor, while the woman sat at the other end, watching Mr Martins while he gives his children water, because it was really a very stressful day and sunny day too… “ so are you ready to tell me your wife’s name, maybe I can help you locate her family, since its seems she went out to get something without telling you and you are lost, but if I may ask you, Are you legally married to this wife of yours?” The old woman asked.. “ ma, I’m very confused..it’s been upto forty minutes now, that my wife just left I and the kids here, in a very strange compound, or is she planning to kill me?, Because I don’t see the reason why, she said she’s going to bring down our bags, and left without even telling me where she was going to.. even the kids are very hungry, had it been that I knew before now, I would have not come along with her, after all she has two cars and she can drive very well, the reason why she asked me to drive her here, is what I don’t still understand.. Not only that she dragged me out to an unknown village, she also went out with out even telling me where she was going to” Mr Martins started explaining to the old woman, because he was very angry and frustrated at that moment.. he couldn’t control his anger anymore… “ but if you are legally married to her, you should know her village of course, so why are you confused?” The old woman asked him again, since it’s seems he wants to skip the question.. “ I am legally married to my wife.. she told me that she doesn’t have any one in her village, no uncle, no aunt, that the only Aunt she has is in abroad, and that she’s not in a good term with that her aunt.. So what we did was only court marriage, Because she even declined white wedding… But because of the love I have for her, I obeyed her and succumbed to her wishes, even when my family was against it, because as the first son that IAM they wanted a very big wedding for me, but I declined their idea, all because I wanted to please my wife… Not after my babies one year birthday, she said that she wants to visit the village and that am going to drive her to the village.. and I left my work to this place.. now she has left me stranded, I will be very very mad at her, when she comes back” Mr Martins said to the old woman.. “ But which girl will behave like that nah, what is your wife’s name?” The woman asked him again.. “ my wife’s name is Flora, and am sure she’s from the village, because that is where she told me already, but why she’s still left her phone inside the car and went out, is what i don’t understand.. “wait, you said, her name is Flora? And that she was the one that asked you to enter here…and you said she went to stand at that grave side immediately she came down from the car?” “ exactly ma, do you know her, though she told me that her father is late,and she doesn’t know where her mum is…so I guess that grave belongs to her father, though I was about asking her before she left to get the bags”.. “ What is your own name , if I may ask? “ my name is Martins Philips, the MD of one of the biggest company that deals with oil…” Martins replied, feeling on top of the world as he introduces himself.. “ okay, sorry, am asking you much questions…my son, pls can I see your wife’s picture ” the woman asked him politely… “ sure ma, here is my phone, she is on my screen” Mr Martins handed his phone to the woman.. “ Bloooood of Jesus” the woman scream and almost dropped the phone, but martins was quick to catch his phone.. “ ma are you okay, why are you screaming” Martins asked the woman, who has started crying already… “ Mr man, are you sure this is your wife..? The women that was passing by that heard the old woman screaming and rushed in, asked Mr Martins after they have seen her pictures and even wedding picture on his phone.. While Flora mother was just speechless, she was crying rolling on the floor, that Mr Martins has come to make mockery of her predicament, she was asking him, who sent you to come and remind of my pains, pains that am trying to let go, because it’s weighing me down everyday.. “ Madam, please can someone tell me what is happening here, why is she saying that am reminding her of her pains.. all because I showed her my wife’s picture… Why has Flora decided to embarrass me in this manner, why will she just bring me here and leave me stranded” Mr Martins who was confused was saying.. “ ahhh, Flora my daughter, my enemies has come to remind me that y this Úou left me all alone in this world, what have I done to deserve this, why this kind of pains, Flora why did you leave me all alone, in this evil world, ewoo, heeeyy, who did I offend, who did I offend, Flora ehh, mma nwam (my beauty) they have come to remind medhd again ohh,they have come to open up the wound again oh” Flora’s mum was lamenting while people where trying to calm her down “please, what does she mean by I have come to remind her of her pains.. please i just came here with my wife, am not even from this village, it’s my first time coming to this place” Martin explained to the women and men that has gathered in the compound.. “ Are you sure, the lady on that phone screen is your wife?” One of the women asked him again.. “ madam, I have answered this question more than ten times now… She is not only wife, she was the one that brought me here, just that she went out, I don’t even know where she went to, you see this babies that am carrying, they are our kids, I don’t know why you people keep asking me this question all over again, if any of you saw her, please tell me, let me know if she is okay or not” Mr Martins said.. “ we Know the reason why we are asking, to be sure, so that we can truly show you where she is, because had it been that you were not dressing well, o would have said, that you are having mental disorder, though there are mad people that is still dressing responsible.. but follow us, we want to show you something…
