Two months later, Mr Martins was hosting a party in his company, they were celebrating the termination of the ghost that was tormenting him..
Then that they went to Mr Pablo’s village, after Martins settled the juju priest for asking him questions, he was told by Mr Pablo’s mum that all the juju priest has asked him to bring, should be settled by money, and Mr Martins paid over one hundred thousand, which after that, the juju priest brought a fowl, he made some incantations and after that, he used the fowl to put on Mr Martins shoulder, after some incantations, he used his hand to strangle the fowl, after that he asked me Martins to go back that his case is settled.. Mr Martins was very happy, he gave him another one hundred and fifty thousand naira for appreciation.. the juju priest asked them to go, that the ghost will never torment him any longer.
When they got home that night, Mr Martins felt relax, he said in his mind that since those things he saw in the bush didn’t harm him, that means it will be hard for him to be killed by evil spirits.
The next day, they set out to leave, he gave Mr Pablo’s mum the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand, and also promised to be visiting her, the woman was very happy, she danced and danced, she also blessed him and bade them safe journey… Mr Martins also appreciated Mr Pablo with some amount of money for helping him seek solution for his predicament..
So after the two months of no ghost disturbing, no spirit opening his compound gate for him, no eerie feelings when he is in his compound or any strange woman visiting him.. he decided to celebrate it with his workers, still on the process he gifted Mr Pablo a brand new car, the journey that they made was a secret between the both of them, no one from the company or even his wife Flora knows about the journey that they made,
Mr Pablo was very happy, he appreciated his boss severally and promise to remain loyal to him…
At Mr Martins home, his two kids, Judith and Justin,Mr Martins and Flora kids, they were growing normally and healthy, they were about nine months, and they were already trying to stand by themselves, but what marvels Mr Martins is how his wife was actually coping with the two kids, doing the house chores, cooking and also making sure everywhere is neat, though he do support her whenever he comes home early or when it’s weekend, and she also goes to her three shops she opened in different locations to check how her business was booming, and it was really progressing and with the people she employed to manage the place, they were doing well and she always appreciates them very well anytime she visits them..
Mr Martins has begged her to carry a house help, but she will never accept, she will always tell him that no one is to be trusted, so it’s better she do her things by her self and have peace of mind…Mr Martins gave up and decided to help her when ever he’s chanced…
Mr Martins parents were visiting his house the next week, since he has been begging his wife to go and visit them abroad but she said no, she only talks to them whenever he calls them on video call, that is the only place that they always see her face, though she calls them on phone maybe four times in a week..
Flora made sure she prepared everything for her in-laws visitation, though her time is almost up, but she will make sure that she doesn't do any thing that will arouse suspiciousness From her in-laws..The next week Monday, Mr Martins parents arrived, Mr Martins went to the airport and picked them up, when they arrived at Mr Martins house, they were welcomed by his lovely wife Flora,she was very happy to see them, and they were also happy to see her and their Grand children,
After the have settled down, she served them food, which they confirmed that she was very good in cooking, they had a very cool time with their son and his family…
Two months later after the visit of Mr Martins parents, that they spent two weeks in a very cool way, everyone was happy, and Mr Martins mum was a lovely woman, which made Flora to cry in ward sometimes, especially whenever she sees Martins and his mum having a good time like a mother and her child should, Flora always feel bad, because some one deprived her and her mother that very opportunity, she will cry in the bathroom while allowing the water to wash away her tears, but there's nothing she could do, the did has been done, but she is going to make him pay for what he has done to her.....
Mr Martins went to his office that Early morning, that was two months later, when he opened the door, he found someone cleaning his office, he was angry because normally his office is always clean before he resumes work, and the strange thing is that all his workers were at their duty post, so when he met the girl, he felt like maybe his manager has employed another worker for cleaning because it was the receptionist that does the cleaning before, but he instructed him to employ another person for cleaning, in order to make the work easy for everyone, and since they were having huge contracts this days, that he will be able to pay everyone..
“ hey, you, why are you still cleaning up my office by this time, and by what time did you resumed work today? Mr Martins asked the lady that was cleaning the floor, but she didn't reply nor even look at him because she was backing him, and the lady has the same shape like that of Flora his wife, Mr Martins thought, but he waved the thought away, because he just dropped her at her shop before coming to his office, since her car is being serviced.
“ do you want to loose your job, am talking to you and you are ignoring me, where's your manners" Mr Martins told the girl who still didn't answer him, instead, she walked to his bathroom in order to keep the mop and bucket there, still didn't show her face..
Mr Martins who doesn't react fast, he went to his sit and sat down, then called his manager to his office..
“ what type of person did you employ as a cleaner, some one who doesn't have respect and manners, why didn't you send her to me before she started work" Mr Martins asked Mr Pablo angrily, but Mr Pablo was very surprised, because nhe didn't employ anyone, infact he just finished an interview section with three ladies who applied for the job and he has not employed any one..
“Sir, please I don't know what you are talking about, what girl and what cleaner are you talking about, I just finished interviewing the people that applied, so I don't understand, or have you started hallucinating?" Mr Pablo asked his boss, who was actually confused...
“ the lady am talking went into the toilet, I believe she's still there trying to clean the toilet sluggishly" Mr Martins said, pointing at his bathroom..Mr Pablo was more confused, he went to the toilet and opened the door but no body was there,
“ sir, but there’s no one here nah, what are you talking about, you are scaring me again” Mr Pablo told Martin’s who was more shocked and scared at the same time because he was very sure he saw the lady, but when he went to confirm if Mr Pablo was joking with him or he is serious, but when he opened the door, truly no one was there, he had goose bumps immediately, he was speechless, he looked at Mr Pablo, and Mr Pablo also looked at him…
“ some is wrong, I’m very sure I saw a lady here, what is happening” Mr Martins said..
Mr Pablo looked at him, he went into the bathroom, check everywhere, but no sign of a human being there..
“ sir I will be in my office” Mr Pablo said and went out…
Immediately Mr Pablo stepped out and closed the door, the bathroom door opened and slammed back..
“Who is there?” Mr Martins asked with a shaking voice, but no one answered him, as if that one wasn’t enough, the shower started rushing, he quietly peeped through the opening on the bathroom door, he saw another eyes peeping him too, and the eyes was red as if the person was crying..
Immediately Mr Martins gently left there, he picked up his car key he tried opening the door, but it was shut…

“ some one help!!!! Who is there, please help!!!” Mr Martins continued shouting while trying to open the door, but the door wasn’t opening, he turned his back and saw the lady standing at his back, but her long hair covered her face, he was almost loosing his mind before some one pushed the door opened for him, Mr Martins didn’t even look up to see the person that opened the door for him, he just rushed out, running to the managers office, he opened the door, but no one was there,, he was looking around, trying to catch his breath, as he was about sitting down, the door opened, and Mr Martins jumped up from the sit, about running to the managers bathroom, in order to hide himself, but he was stopped by the manager, who was the person that opened the door for him to come out from his office, but because of the way he ran out from his office, he didn’t look at the person’s face instead he ran to look for the manager…
“did you see the girl that I told you about?, She was standing at my back and she locked the door” Mr Martins explained to his manager Mr Pablo.. who was very confused at the situation that his boss into…
“ sir, please calm down,am very confused because, when I checked your office, I didn’t see any one, what is really the problem, even the door that you said was shut, it was just one hand that I pushed the door, and if opened… Sir you are really stressing yourself over nothing…” Mr Pablo told Mr Martins, trying to calm him down, but Mr Martins was sure of what he saw,
“ stop making me look like am insane, I knew what I saw, I’m very sure the door was locked while I was trying to open it, so why are you talking like am having mental issues, when I’m very much fine…. Infact I need to go and clear my head, I might not return back to the hospital office, just make sure everything is fine okay…” Mr Martins told Mr Pablo and he left the office..
When Mr Martins got home at night, he was about coming down from his car in order to open the gate, but the gate opened by itself, Mr Martins drove in thinking maybe his wife was the one that opened the gate, but when he came down from his car, every where was very quiet, but that eerie feelings was back, he looked around, he looked towards the security house side and saw the light flautuating, he tried to put himself together in order not to collapse out of fear, as he was about going inside, their door that usually used to be shut opened by itself,he looked around and the house seemed quiet, he walked to their bedroom after checking up on his children who were sleeping comfortable, the next day will be their one year birthday, after he finished pecking them on their fore head, he left to his check for his wife, because he didn’t see her in the bedroom, he found her dressing the table for their dinner, after their greetings and hugging, he went back to have a shower, as he was bathing, he made sure to remove whatever that happened at the office and in the compound from his head, but immediately he closed his eyes to wash his face, he saw a man, struggling to rape a girl, and the girl was asking for mercy, the Vision was very blur, so he couldn’t recognize the face of the lady, her shouting was echoing as if she was in the same bathroom where he was bathing, but if he opens his eyes, everywhere will be quiet… Mr Martins has been passing through this very thing since four days now, and when ever he wants to talk to his wife about what he’s facing, he will be scared because he doesn’t want her to know about the evil things he did when he was still very young..it bothers him if she can cope and forgive a murderer like him..
During dinner that very night, he made sure he ate to his satisfactions, after they had finished eating, he helped his wife to clear the dishes, while she was arranging the remaining food inside the fridge, he was washing the plates, the wife wasn’t surprised, that was how they always work together, especially when he’s about to tell her what will get her angry..
After the clean up, Mrs Flora was about going inside when Mr Martins called her back..
“ honey please come and have a sit, I want to tell you something” Mr Martins pleaded with his wife..
“ am sorry dear, I don’t want anything that will spoil my mood, because through your facial expressions, it’s something bad, and today is our babies birthday Eve, I don’t need anything to spoil it for me, why don’t we leave it till tomorrow evening, after the birthday please”? Mrs Flora said to Mr Martins who understood what she was saying, he nodded and she went to their room to have a rest, it has been a hectic day, she was the one baking the cake for her children birthday, though it’s not for many people, it’s just she, her husband and her workers that will be attending the birthday, then her in-laws will join them through video calls, they have already sent gifts to the little babies and Mr Martins has gone to receive it from the airport, but they have not opened the gift yet…
The next day was the birthday, Mrs Flora and her husband woke up as early as they could, they carried their babies and wished them happy birthday, Mr Martins also invited his workers, though the wife never accepted at first, but after much persuasion from Mr Martins, she finally accepted.. through it really brought a huge misunderstanding that even made Mr Martins to ask his wife, if there was anything she is hiding from him, because he doesn’t understand why she doesn’t allow people to know her, she is always hiding, she won’t corporate with other people, it’s just she and her children Everytime, he complained that she is always indoor after she has visits her shops, the don’t go out on a dinner date as a couple, or even other pleasure places that others are looking for the opportunity to go, but she has refused to visit any of them, the worst part of it is that even to visit him in his office is a problem, now for them to even have a large wedding ceremony, she had refused, he respected her decision, but for this birthday party, the birthday of his first fruits, his staffs must attend, Mr Martins had said to Mrs Flora, while they were arguing who and who will attend the birthday party…
But the reply that Mrs Flora gave to Mr Martins after the argument, is something that Mr Martins couldn’t even understand after he has been thinking about it.. Mrs Flora had answered him, that very soon, he will understand why she doesn’t associate with people, and if he doesn’t know, he was the one that caused it..
Mr Martins has been paralyzed by that reply, he has been asking himself if he has offended her in any way, or Maybe unknowingly…
At around evening, people started coming for the birthday.. firstly it was the staffs from Mr Martins company, before staffs from Mrs Flora shops started coming…
Flora has arranged everywhere, decorated them, while her chief manager was cooking in the kitchen, while some of her staffs that was there since morning were serving drinks to people that were coming..
At 6: 30 PM, the party started, a big screen was there which Martins parents and siblings were connected to, in order to see what was happening from abroad…, The people later presented their gifts to the children, which their parents Mr and Mrs Martin’s appreciated them with so much gratitude…
There was alot of foods, drinks, snacks, they all are very well and satisfied, after all it was there boss’s house, so they all felt comfortable and Mr Martins tried to be happy around them, not letting what he was facing recently to show in his actions.
At night, after the birthday party, Mrs Flora was very exhausted, but she tried her best to Clean up everywhere, with the help of her husband and some of her workers who offered to help…
The next day, Mr Martins asked his wife to sit down after she was done with her normal morning chores..
He told her that there something bothering him, but he doesn’t want her to get scared that is why he has been keeping it to himself…..
