Many men are suffering from verbal abuse from their spouses.
Words gets to men easily especially when it’s coming from someone they have emotional connection with.
Words as simple as…
“Is that how your mates behave or do?”
“And you call yourself a man”
“Go and see what your mates are doing outside”
And so on.
They did not look harmful right?
But as simple as they look to you, it has sent many men to depression, anxiety attack, even suicide.
But sadly, the society did not see the harm in this because it is said to a man and it doesn’t involve physical bruises or pain.
You have forgotten that when the mind is badly butchered with words, it affects mental health and those that did not have a strong mental health end up in the mess they know nothing about.
We are not paying attention to this because we believe women are diverse in nature, they say anything when they are angry, they say anything when they are on their periods, they misbehave when they are hurt, but ignore the person at the receiving end.
The effect of the Words on men and the aftermath.
This is one of the wars men fight but won’t come out to tell you so as not to be called a simp or tagged “not man enough”
Remember that when these men are badly dealt with by a lady, another lady is going to end up with him.
It’s like digging a hole for your fellow woman to fall into.
