Something was missing,something was wrong,am going crazy day after day,night after night,i was becoming sick even in good health,i laugh when am with the family but once am in to sleep i cry my bulbs out,they were turning red each day and night,i dont know who to tell what’s wrong with me or what to do,when am in my room alone all i do is drink malt,lie on my bed,talk to myself and smile or laugh like a madman once i imagine that awesom moment,u know the moment i mean! Moments yet to come,my step mom is begining to get bothered even my dad and step siblings but i cant tell anyone what my pains are,at a time my dad began to think he had offended me by getting another wife and this was really affecting him but that’s not true,am even happy for him that he married again but my problem lies with my step brother isaac (observer) i dont know wether he would get offended if i let out what’s bothering me.i just have to move on but have tried but it didnt work out and now i eat less and sleep less infact i forget myself always,oooo God stop asking me what is the cause,stop please stop,if i tell u the cause u would call me a madman,a greedy guy or a fool but i cant help it i cant,hw can i when i dont even have control over it but a man must be a man no matter what,a man must be a man even in death the only place i know a man can never be a man is in hell o,u must cry and shout like a woman o.
Step Mum:my son am sorry it wasnt my fault and i never meant to make u a shadow of urself,u are a nice man,u helped me before and even connected me to ur father,not only that,u also took my son as ur own self,seeing u sad makes me cry,i want us to be happy like before(she was crying) believe me i see u as my flesh.now i have filed for a divorce,i want to divorce ur father and go away with my son isaac so u can stop being sad,believe me when i say am truely sorry and i told ur father from the on set not to marry me(she kept sobbing,then put her hands on my shoulders)it shall be well with u my son,u shall be greater than u father and ur name would be heard all over the world
Me: (i wanted to say something but i couldnt,only tears came out of my eyes,i was too lost,so mad,foolish,stupid and weak,i am a confused healthy but sick man,i just watched her live my room sobbing and i was crying myself,the man in me was gone and only one thing can take the man in a man and that thing is….{inbox me to know or wait till the episode it would be revealed} i tried to call out to her but only air came off,her words touched me but she isnt the reason for my pain)…i the great daniel,son of kybee,the only guy that formed a one man squad had suddenly become a weaklin.my room door burst open,i looked up and saw my little angel,my step sister,abeg dont ask me her age,i have lost count of her age in this my present condition but she is now a teenager,i love her so much because she is too smart and out spoke.
Josey:big bro why are u crying,i have never seen u cry,did ur girl breakup with u? oo big bro she isnt worth ur tears na,nah naija be dis o no be america so no turn am to america o(she joking said trying to make me laugh)
Me:what do u mean?
Josey:ah ah,na only america girl or boy go breakup the next time nah cry or u go hear say one of the don relocate or kill him self na(smiling)
Me: (begining to feel happy some how) so what of naija?
Josey:if na naija na dat same dey the boy go get job or win bet naija then in two months time the girl go invite am come her wedding:

Me:seat beside me let me tell u(she did) there is this issue am having……so dear that is it

Me:how would u achieve that,i dont want to hurt senior bro isaac and beside u are too young to do anything

We both rushed down to my father’s room and met my step mother seating on the bed with her face buried on her hand and crying
Me:am sorry ma,u aint the cause of my moody attitude,please stop crying and dont leave(she pretended not to notice us and keep crying)
Josey:mother if you leave everybody in this house would follow u and u know what that means so please brighten up
Step Mum:then why would he suddenly become a shadow of his self,why would he suddenly become a sadist just after i married his father
Me:no mother dont say that,u are not the cause and would never be,dont worry i would tell the family why during lunch with the help of josey
Step Mum: (smiles and wipe her tears)so josey u have been gossiping with daniel,just dont worry i would not get u chocolates again(she joked)
Josey:hahaha then u would buy me a car(she joked back).

during the evening time,lunch was set and trust my family when it comes to food,we eat together expect if anyone travels or if one is sick.
It was a large dinning table,large enough to contain the seven of us and to some extra ass lolz.we all ate in silence till the meal was over,plates packed off and the table mat cleaned,mind u we have maids.then josey started as planned
Josey:bigger bro
Observer:yes angel
Josey:if a brother of urs falls inlove with ur gal what would u do?
Observer:broke his head ofcourse,why would a brother of mine fall for my girl
Josey:let asume he wasnt aware of it earlier

Step Mum:am begining to smell love in the air,abeg who is she?
Me:i know have been acting strange for some time now but i just have to come off it because my brother here obser..oh sorry isaac is already in love with her and i sincerely apologise
Dad:i have never heard u talk of a woman before daniel so who is this girl u both are dying for(observer’s mouth was already wide open)…
Step Mum:yes who is she….there was silence in the room as observer looked confused and i looking shy then she broke the news
Josey:mum,dad,her name is nancy the girl that testified in the interest of big bro in the court
Observer:hahahahahahahaha,wait o u mean nancy? Nancy is not my girlfriend and u know that,my girlfriend’s name is stella and am even planning to bring her to see u guys
Me:u mean u aint dating her?
Observer:yes am not

Dad:hmmm so a woman had been eating up my son’s heart?
Step Mum:i want to see this woman
Dad:yes bring her to me
Observer:but dad there is a problem
Dad:what’s the problem?
Observer:i havent seen or heard from her ever since the end of that court case….quickly my mood changed again as everyone went silent.

That night was hell for me,i couldnt think straight nor concentrate,to sleep was war for me.no position i stay was of comfort to me,seating on the bed was something else and standing was another thing so i just kept walking to and fro in the room taking glasses of water like a toad.this girl has stolen not just my heart but the whole of me.the night was so slow,seem like the clocks aint clicking,my mind wasnt mine,i remembered that i had earlier collected her number from observer,i picked my phone and started dailing her line but it wasnt reachable but i continued trying.morning finally came afte what seem like enternity,i quickly dashed to the bathroom,had my bath and brushed my teeth with extra care,i tried her number once more but it was switched off,i kit up and troop off my room bagging the door behind me,straight into my car and i drove out of the compound and zoomed off to search for my nancy.
I searched and searched for her but couldnt find her,i even went to the school to check but there was no sign of nancy.after everything i drove home weak,hopeless and helpless,i opened my door and fell flat on my bed,then my door cracked opened and my step mother’s voice came
Step Mum:have u found her?
Me:not even a sign of her
Josey:are u sure u checked well?
Me: (sat up right with my frustrated self)what sort of foolish question is that eh?
Step Mum:josey i dont want to hear ur voice again.dan pls take a rest and calm down,its obvious u didnt sleep last night because ur eye balls are swellon
Me:thanks mum
Josey:emm,me that is just trying to help out.ok oo…..walks out of my room with my step mum.i laid back till i slept off****
i wokeup the next morning feeling strange but new,i opened my door and saw my dad passing
Me:good morning da
Dad: oh my able son,how are u
Me:as u can see dad,am fine
Dad: oh that’s good
Me: dad this one that u are smiling even where u are not supposed to smile,i hope all is well o and by the way aint u going about ur businesses today?
Dad: (smiles)dani u amaze me,well i wont be going anywhere today,isaac would be bringing his wife to be to the house to introduce to the family,we all would be having breakfast together
Me:hmmm nice but if it were to be me i would prefer it to be during dinner
Dad:let’s not argue over this,everyone and their own ways
Me: ok dad let me freshen up before joining u guys
Dad: ok…walks away. I went back inside my room,freshen up and was dressing up when a knock sounded on my door
Me:yess.who is there?
Voice:the family request ur presence at the dinning room
Me: ok after u dear…i knew that would be one of our maid.i troop off my room to the dinning where i met the rest all seated and smiling
Me:nna where is obser…sorry where is isaac and his bae?
Dad:seat down first befor before u start asking questions like jamb official
Me: (sat down)
Step Mum: here they come…we looked up and saw them,the babe was indeed an epitom of beauty,what are my even saying,i mean she is beauty herself
Dad:who is the girl with u
Observer: dad u are so much in a hurry,lets eat first(smiles and started walking close to seat with his bae following behind already feeling embarrassed
Dad: (with anger and authority)i said who is she?…i turned and looked at my dad,he had turned wild
Observer: (stopped smiling)if u insist,she is the…
Dad:the girl u want to marry? (dad interrupted)
Observer:yes dad
Dad: never! U wld marry her over my dead body because u wnt have my blessing…dad stuned out angrily
Observer:wha wha why dad?…..i looked at the girl,she was shivering like a leaf as we all stared at her in shock.now the big question is WHO IS SHE??
