I blinked my eyes,yawned and sit up on the bed..I look round the room and my face lit up in a smile..
I’m now living in my father’s house with my granny who i’ve always known to be my Nanny…And also a beautiful sister who i’ve always yearned for and lastly my Elara…Without her i don’t think my happiness will be complete.
I will go and visit my parents today after school,today is their court judgement and we are all going to be present at the court..
I love them even if they are not my biological parents,they took care of me till date,they foot all my bills right from when i was a kid..It’s just so sad to see things turn out this way..
But am so happy to have met my real family…I have to hurry to the bathroom cos we are all going to school together..

I opened my eyes,sitting up from the bed..I heard the shower running..
‘Oh..that must be Ela’ I thought and rubbed my eyes..Stood up from the bed and walked to my wardrobe. I brought my School uniform and undies,laid it on the bed…
Pulled off my pyjamas and tied a towel around my body patiently waiting for Ela to be done..
She came out few minutes later..
“Hey Kristin,good morning” Ela said smiling.
“Ela,good morning” I said returning her smile..
“Hurry and have your bath,we have to be ready before Jerry gets here” Ela said and i nodded walking into the bathroom..
I closed the door behind me and had a quick bath,i brushed and walked back to the room..Ela is already dressed in her uniform,she’s wearing our ‘friendship bracelet’ her hair is packed in two ponytails and her chocolate skin glowed even without apply body lotion..
I must say Ela is very beautiful..
“Will you stop staring and get dressed” Ela said..
” Huh? Ofcourse i will..But i must say my brother is very lucky to have you” I said and her cheeks turn red..
“Ela you need to stop blushing yunno” I teased…And she pushed me playfully,we both fell on the bed laughing..
I quickly got dressed,trimmed and oiled my curls,i applied body lotion and passed it to Ela,i wore our ‘friendship bracelet’..Socks and pulled into my shoes..
We carried our bags and headed out of the room…

We got to the sitting room and met Jerry and Braylen already dressed,seated on the couch staring into Braylen’s phone..
“Hey guys” We chorused and they turned..
“Hey girls” They chorused..
“We are ready,let’s move” Ela said.
“Ok” They said and stood up..We bid the grannies ‘goodbye’ and left..Dad isn’t around..But he left a note that we should take his lamborghini to school..
We entered the lamborghini..Braylen and Ela in the front seat, Jerry and i in the back seat..
Braylen turned on the ignition and drove out of the compound..
I kept giggling at what Jerry was telling me..
“Jerry don’t do anything naughty with my sis ok?” Braylen said looking serious but we all know he’s joking so we laughed..
We entered the school compound and Braylen parked in the school parking space..We all got down and the gaze of the entire school was on us..We walked to our class..

We entered the class and they all went silent, ohh..now i remember we are the school prefects plus it’s been long we attended school..
We walked to our seats and sat down..
“Hey guys” We heard and saw Nicky standing in front of our desk smiling..I looked surprised but i noticed Ela wasn’t as surprised as i am.
“Hey Nicky,how are you?” Ela asked..
“Am good,hey Kristin” Nicky said and i stared at her not believing the mighty Nicky could be this calm and even greet me..
Ela nudged me to reply her greeting and i did.
“Hey Nicky” I said with a small smile.
She also greeted Braylen and Jerry,they also looked surprised but replied her anyway..
“Guys, please am so sorry i know i’ve behaved real bad to you all..Please forgive me,i’m now a changed person” Nicky pleaded looking at our faces..
“Really ?” I asked and she nodded..
“Wow” Jerry said..
“OMG nicky” Braylen said with surprise..
“Yes guys,we all have to forgive her,she’s now a changed person” Ela said and we all nodded..
She really doesn’t look like the bad Nicky,she isn’t chewing gum and her face is also free of make-up plus her two puppies are not with her anymore..
“Nicky i forgive you” I said..And i was surprised she hugged me..
“I’ve forgiven you” Jerry said and Nicky pulled him closer to join in our hug..
“I’ve forgiven you” Braylen also said and also joined in the hug..
“And you know i’ve forgiven you long gone but i will forguve you again” Ela also said and we all smiled..She also joined in the hug..
The students started whispering,..
“Omg Nicky is really changed”
“I love this”
“They all look happy together”
“I wish i was in their midst” …The student mumbled and we all laughed..
We sat down as soon as a teacher entered..We had our normal classes before we went on break..

We walked to the garden after we ordered our meal,nicky also with us..She told Ela to resume eating in the cafeteria but we told her we had a better place that she should also join us and she did.

We all entered the garden and a ‘wow’ escaped my lips..I never knew the garden was as beautiful as this..The student says it’s old and ugly,that’s the reason i never visited the garden but they are wrong cos this is paradise..No air is as cool as this..
I’m so happy they all forgave me and even invited me to eat with them in the garden..I’ve decided to cut ties with Rossi and Ronni cos they won’t help matters..I’m glad with my new choice of friends..
We all sat on the grass forming a circle,our meals in front of us. We started eating…
“Do you guys remember tree monster?” Braylen said holding the laughter that was about bursting out..Jerry and Kristin also laugh but Elara pouted her lips and sent them a look..
I looked confused..
“Nicky can you believe Ela still believes in tree monster….” Kristin told me the full story and i can’t also help but laugh..
Ela stood up with a frown and started hitting us playfully,we stood up running round the garden in laughter and she kept running after us..
We fell to the grass exhausted..I never knew being friends with them will be this fun..It’s obvious Braylen and Elara are dating,i’m surprised i didn’t feel jealous when they kissed…I now realise i don’t love Braylen,it was all lust and infatuation simply because he’s cute..
I know Jerry and Kristin are also dating each other..I should better accept Ryan’s proposal..I met him in the shopping mall, he’s also very cute,he will soon be transferred to our school just because of me..He asked me out,i said no but he’s still insisting..I also like him and i know how happy he will be when i accept his proposal..
‘Awwn my Ryan’ I thought blushing..
We finished our meal in chatters and laughter…We played till the bell sounded and we all stood up walking to the class..

School is over and we are all standing beside the lamborghini..
Nicky has left with her driver after saying she will come visit us at home..
“Hello granny” Braylen called into his phone.

“Hey guys,granny said we should all meet at the court,she said she’s on her way to the court with dad and Ela’s granny..” Braylen said and we all nodded entered the car..
We entered the court and sat down,granny,braylen’s granny and Braylen’s dad are also seated..
Braylen’s adoptive parents,the principal,miss vivian and Tina are standing behind the court huge desk…We are all waiting for the judge’s judgement..The judge is also seated on the normal high seat..
“The Gregors and the principal are charged for the murder of The Wentworths many years back..They are found guilty and the justice for a murderer is that they will also be executed..But my judgement is based on the pleading of the Gregors lawyer so this is my judgement ;
The Gregors and the principal of Edron’s college is sentenced to life imprisonment” The judge said and the court room went silent.. Braylen is already sobbing and his adoptive mum is also crying loud..His adoptive father and the principal cried silently with regret on their faces..
“And as for this two young ladies” The judge said referring to Tina and Vivian..
You are both sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for getting involved in the kidnap of Elara Wentworth and Nicky Carter which is a great crime…” The judge said and Tina started crying..Miss Vivian wore a mean look but i know she’s deeply affected..
It’s just a pity..
“The Gregors should hand over the five companies they forcefully collected from the Wentworths to Elara Wentworth who is the rightful owner of the companies…
That is my judgement !
The judge stood up and walked into the inner chamber..
“Court !”
The police stood up to usher the criminals out of the court but Braylen rushed towards his parents with tears in his eyes..
He hugged them tightly..
“Mum,Dad i will miss you” He said still crying..
“We will miss you too son” His mother said in tears..
“I will always check on you ok” Braylen said cleaning their tears while his kept flowing..
His parents nodded and hugged him tightly..
“Elara we are sorry about the murder of your parents,i’ve told my lawyer to hand over the documents of your dad’s companies to you” Braylen’s dad said and i nodded with tears blinding my eyes..
His mum told me to come closer and they both pulled me in a hug begging me to forgive them…I forgave them,hugging them tightly…
“Please can we all have the last hug” Braylen’s mum said and granny,nanny,kristin,jerry and kristin’s dad joined in the hug..
We hugged and it took the last strength in some people not to cry…
It’s just so emotional..
“Please can we leave now” A police officer said and we parted from the hug,they led them away and Braylen can’t stop crying…Even i, couldn’t hold my tears..
We got in the car and kristin’s dad drove..
We got home and entered the house, Braylen walked to his room and locked himself in..We heard him crying from the door…We tried to make him open the door but he didn’t..
We all sat on the couches in the sitting room looking moody.

Aunt Senora finished preparing dinner but Braylen still didn’t come out, kristin,jerry and i went to his room..We knocked but he didn’t open the door..
“Braylen it’s okay we are all here for you” Kristin said through the door..
“Braylen please open the door” Jerry also said..
They were expecting me to also say something but i surprised them by singing..I’ve always kept my sonorous voice a secret but with the situation of things i just have to. for braylen’s sake..I learnt the lyrics of drake’s song ‘Nice for what’ I planned on singing it for him tomorrow which is saturday but i guess i will just do that now..

I continued singing sonorously with my eyes closed,i didn’t notice the people at my back..
His door opened and i opened my eyes,he stood right there with a smile on his tear-streaked face..I felt butterflies when he pulled me into a hug and kissed me deeply…
I heard clearing of throats and i turned back and saw Kristin’s dad,nanny and granny…
Really ?
Have they been here since?
I felt my face flushed..
“Omg Ela you gat the best voice” Kristin said..
“Wow your voice is beautiful” Jerry also said..
“Yes am glad i have someone who can use her sonorous voice to make me happy whenever am sad” Braylen said and pecked my cheek…
“Awwwn” I blushed..
“Elara we have to sign you up for musical classes” Kristin’s dad said..
“Yes ofcourse” Braylen’s granny said..
“Yes my Ara gat the best voice ” Granny boasted,playfully hitting her palm on her chest..
We all laughed..
“Thanks everyone” I said smiling..
“Now let’s go have our dinner before the two old grannies collapse” Braylen joked and we all laughed descending the stairs to the dining..

We finished eating and Jerry called his mum and told her he will sleepover at our place…
We spent hours talking before we switched off the sitting room light,we switched on the dim ones and walked to our room..
Braylen and Jerry entered Braylen’s room and kristin and i also entered kristin’s room after saying our ‘good nights’ .
I waited for Kristin to sleep off and i started composing a song for tomorrow….
I spent half of the night composing the song and i was so happy it turn out well..
I slept off in the middle of the night feeling very happy and fulfilled..
