28minitues after Jimmy &his colleague had left, Mrs Daniel was still worried, lost in deep thought.
“I just don’t know what would happen if I don’t find my daughter ” was the thought that trouble her mind then Suddenly her phone buzzed .she discover it’s her daughter calling after checking. Her body trembled, she shouted calling on her husband who was in the room, trying to figure out what next to do.
“darling! darling !tinu is calling! “
Hearing this, Mr Daniel rushed down there immediately.
“Now all you need to do is.. Calm down.. Pick the call and… Remember to put the call on recording ” Mr Daniel said to his nervous wife and she nods then picked the call.
“Hello tinuke! “she said as she picks the call.
An unknown voice speak out “Madam your daughter is fine with me and I’m hoping she could spend 10more years with me ” he cackled.
“Ahhh! Pls sir don’t do it that way! What do you want from us? ” Mrs Daniel pleaded as she asked.
“Now talking! All you need to do is cooperate with me and no one and your husband try something stupid with Me hunn. I already know your husband is smart I know you’d already got our conversation on recording but that don’t freak me all I have to tell you is within fifteen minutes you’re going to receive a message, oh! Don’t be too scared it an envelope, read the content and do as it says bye! ” he hung the call
“Hello! Hello ! Pls can.. Can.. I.. I.. Speak with my daughter Pls.. Plss!…? ” she pleaded but no reply, he’d cut the call.
She threw threw herself to the ground immediately and start to weep profusely.
Mr Daniel moved closer, held her tight and calm her down nothing is gonna happen to Tinuke.
“Did I just heard him say… An.. Envelope??” Mr Daniel asked as he sat her down on the couch.
“We both heard that! ” she brawled as tears rolled down her cheeks
Mr Daniel picked up his phone and called Jimmy right away. He informed him about what had Just happened and Jimmy to be there before the mentioned time.
They both waited roaming about in the house, no one could even step out. They keep praying Jimmy arrived before they receive the dangerous envelope as they call it.
In 15mins time, Jimmy is not around and they’re yet to receive the envelope.
“What’s happening?? ” Mrs Daniel asked her husband but Mr Daniel couldn’t comprehend what’s going on.
“I think we… ” he was about to say something when the door bell cut him off
“Ding! Ding! ” it’s rung.
As they heard the bell, their heart jumped. They checked the wall clock it’s 20mins after the expected time.
Mr Daniel boldly walked up to the door and open.
He found no one but the envelope as expected.
He was doubtful of picking the envelope from the ground but Had no choice than to pick it up to know his daughter whereabout.
As he went back in, open the envelope, the door bell ranged again .
“That’s Jimmy! “he said.
As he open the door, it was Jimmy actually he gussed right.
Mr Daniel showed him the envelope as he walked in. Jimmy sat down on the couch, inspect it before He asked him to open the envelope.
Mrs Daniel was nervous and the same time curious to know what’s in the brown envelope but to their greatest surprised it’s a flipped paper.
Mr Daniel unfold the paper to find a symbol of a dried skull skeleton with a chipped chin with bones showing a cross sign and anchor 💀.
“Jesus! What’s this? ” Mr Daniel screamed nervously.
“I can’t just comprehend what’s in this paper “Mr Daniel answered confusingly.
Jimmy looked the paper and voice out
“here’s a cult symbol but… “
“Cult? Jesus! What’s cult symbol doing in our house ? What’s our business with fraternity and.. ” she interrupt.
No one put an answer to her question as everyone remain silent and dazzled.
It’s the heavy knock That sounded on the door broke the silence
“Jesus they’re here! ” Mrs Daniel exclaimed try running to her room.
Jimmy also didn’t hesitate before pulling out his gun from the back of his trouser to pull his trigger and.. Fire at anyone who had come to attack them.
Mr Daniel was the only one who’s ready to die since his daughter is still missing.
He walked up to the door and open.
