THE EVIL TEDDY Episode 7 – The Mystery Man
Eddie got up from bed when it saw Lilley’s chest rising and falling , as she slept , he walked to Lilley’s door , and turned the knob , the door creaked open , it went down the stairs quietly , so as not to wake anyone.
When it got to the living room , it sneaked pass Michael who was sitting in front of a television, Jessica was sleeping her head rested on her husband’s lap . Michael felt the breeze from Teddy on his body . “Excuse me babe .” He said getting up , he followed the sound to the kitchen .
utensils fell , he was going into the large and dark kitchen to see who was there. the chefs had gone home , it was one A.M he didn’t expect Martha or Rachel to be down at such a time , he wondered why they would be sneaking around .
He tried to switch on the kitchen light , but the switch was iron strong. he tried but the light didn’t come off , he turned on the light of his phone , Eddie was hiding behind the door , with a sharp cleaver , a kitchen knife with a very broad body like a note book , the bright stainless cleaver twinkled in the dark.
It waited patiently for Michael to get close enough for the knife to chop off it’s head .
“Rachel! Martha!” Michael kept calling as he slowly worked towards were Eddie was hiding with red burning eyes , his calls woke Jessica from sleep . Eddie had raised the knife to cut Michael when Jessica call made him turn to the living room .
“Baby you’re awake?” He kissed her , helped her up from the couch . “You don’t have to stress yourself,now that you’re two .” Jessica playfully pushed his face away . “Come on , we are no longer in our twenties , you’re wetting my face with your kisses .” Jessica said he chuckled .
“Your grandmother’s reincarnation has gone to bed , so I can kiss this girl anyhow I like . oya come let me carry you .” He said and lifted her from the ground , Jessica put her arms around his neck.
“So why were you shouting , you woke me and junior up .” Jessica said . “Well I thought I heard somebody run into the kitchen , I thought it was our domestic help .” He said as they climbed the last step.
“Martha and Rachel are sleeping downstairs, why do you think they would be the ones?” Jessica said .
“Maybe am just too imaginative .” The door creaked open as he carried her inside the house and dropped her on the bed , he kissed her stomach . “I love you so much Jessica , you came and blessed my life , gave me a beautiful daughter and now our son is on the way .” He said , Jessica put her hand on his mouth .
“She might hear you. she’s finally having a good time since that girl died , I felt guilty for having relieve that the girl is no longer around to bully my daughter.” Jessica said . “Uhmmm I can’t blame you , she was really a bad girl , she didn’t deserve to die in such a horrible way , but she was such a wicked girl . Am happy Lilley is her happy self again . We should wait a bit before we tell her .” Michael said Jessica agreed they both got into bed after night prayers .
“Goodnight babe .” Jessica said
“Goodnight sweetheart, dream of me .” Michael said kissing his wife , she pushed his face away .
Their neighbor’s dogs were barking erratically , Eddie had climbed over the fence into the neighbor’s compound ,cutting off the electric fence , the dogs that were let to roam free in the compound , grabbed Eddie and began to dragged it on the ground , Eddie grabbed one of the dogs and dragged it into the swimming pool the dog struggled to get away , Eddie pinned it down as water bubbles rose to the surface of the dark water , when the dog stopped trashing Eddie rose to the surface , and climbed out of the pool ,the second dog began to cry running around the compound , Eddie went after it .
The dog ran around the big compound , Eddie used supernatural powers to chase after the dog , it finally grabbed the dog , they fought the big black German Shepard dog , with golden under belly fought Eddie to a standstill , tearing off Eddie’s left hand , Eddie managed to drag the dog down the pool .
they sank to the ground , Eddie drown the second dog and climbed out of the pool , it picked its severed hand , and made it’s way out of the gate , it destroyed the padlock and went out , running all night to the Jabi lake , it went to the mall , with a big iron bar it hit the glass door of the mall , after climbing the barb wire fence , it avoided the light .
it burst into the shopping center , which was empty of humans, the security men were all sleeping, it walked up to the store and broke the door , not minding the security camera everywhere.
It went to the shelf were Lilley had picked her from , it dragged another replica, the light in the mall exploded as soon as the blood girl came out of the Teddy , she was so angry her eyes were burning red ,like the embers of hell. The break in , into the toy shop made the alarm system in the store to go off , the security men woke up and began to run to the source of the noise .
The ghost of the white girl had turned into a white smoke like substance and had entered into the eyes of the Teddy.
the men entered the room , Eddie got up , and stared at them angrily , the men were frozen with fear , when they saw the claws on the fingers of the Teddy , it stood the height of an old years old .
“Where are you running to ?” Eddie asked , when it saw the men slowing back paddling. “You came to arrest me , take my hand .” Eddie extended it hands in front of them. The men turned and began to run
Eddie Chased after the men five of them all struggling to go out in the same direction , the door became too small for them . It dived on the back of one of the men and wrestled him to the ground , Eddie tore open his scalp , and peeled off his skin from his head , then grabbed the eyes of the screaming man and pulled it out of their sockets,while the bleeding man writhed in pains .
The other men ran to go and call the police men on night duty , they came with their riffles ready for action , they walked slowly , going to the direction the terrified security men had directed them , no believing that an ordinary toy could kill a grown man , Eddie was walking on the roof above them , far from the ground when he had allowed them enter a passage with a closed door , it dropped from the roof and landed on the ground behind them .
“Looking for me ?” Eddie said in a deep male voice , they turned to the teddy with a burning eyes , they immediately let flying lead bullets into the body of the Teddy bear , Eddie Laughed as the bullets knocked him the bullets knocked him to the ground , it got up effortlessly , and would be knocked to the ground again , it continued until the men ran out of bullets.
“Is that all you can do ?” Eddie asked with a sinister laughter , it launched into the air , it sharp clawed fingers sank into the neck of one of the police men and tore open his jugular veins , the police man held his bleeding neck , while his colleagues escaped for their lives ,the man stumbled down on his knees , before he collapsed to the ground dead , blood was spreading around him on the dark corridor .
Eddie ran out of the mall , Gideons house was not far from the mall , it climbed the fence , with a stone it smashed the room Of Gideon’s room , the boy jumped out of bed wondering what had made such sound , with his clawed fingers the Teddy climbed the wall to the third floor window , it had thrown the stone from the ground .
Gideon saw an entity that looked like a giant stuffed toy breaking open his glass window . “Mum! dad… Mum! Dad!” Gideon cried as Eddie landed in the dark room with burning eyes . It grabbed Gideon by the neck and flung him at his shelf , the shelf crumbled on impact.
“Mummy! Mummy!” Gideon cried Eddie grabbed him with one hand and began to hit his head hard against the wall as the boy screeched in pains.
His parents and siblings had gotten out of bed when they heard his cry for help , they rushed to the door , fortunately it was open the parents barged into the room , it was too dark for them to see anything , while his mother was trying to turn the light on , they saw the two red eyes , a force like a pressure pump blew them out , and flung them against the corridor wall .
The door forcefully got shut , and the knobs turned around and locked itself . Eddie scratched Gideon’s face with it’s sharp claws as the boy cried .
it hit Gideon severally against the wall , the boy could no longer fight , he was bleeding from the nose , barely hanging on to life , the teddy lifted him , with one hand by holding his pajamas. “This is for going near my Lilley! She’s mine! you will die! where were you when I killed Shirley and Oma! now you want to steal her from me! You have to die!” Eddie hauled Gideon like trash out of the broken window , the boy disappeared into the darkness outside, it jumped out of the window .
The door Gideon’s family were trying to open were thrown open before them , Gideon’s mum was in shock when she saw her son’s blood all over the white tiles , Gideon was no were to be found . When they saw the bloody and broken glass window the parents were in shock , they ran downstairs to go and check what horror awaited them .
