I ducked her advances as she got close to me and I slid under her tail and I felt the tip of it touch my face. I felt a sting in my face as I stared at her not wanting to back down. I feel lots of pain cursing through my body but I tried hard to be strong and not be a coward.
I knew that if I act like a coward then I would give her lots of space to humiliate me. I knew that she was the one who was making all this and I knew that I won’t be able to stand her if she continues like this. I had knew that if I stay in my merman form then I wouldn’t be able to fight her at all. I knew that if I don’t fight her then I would be considered as a coward.
I knew that I had to do something about all this. I knew that this would get hard if I tried to fight in my human form but how will I be back to my human form. I knew that if I was to change into my human form then I would be at disadvantage if I was to fight the evil man which was terrorizing the Pacific kingdom. I knew that I would fail the Pacific. They were all good people captured between all this commotion. I felt more than excited to know that things would soon start working my way if I was to defeat her.
I knew that if I was in my merman form then there would be lots of things I would learn from this evil mermaid. I stared at her with my eyes pinned on her body not wanting to loose distraction. I knew this was my only way out so I knew that I have to trend carefully.
I stared at her as I watched her twirl around and I felt the water behind me move like she had done. I made a mental note to try that later. I saw how she controlled the water with her fingers. I knew that if I was still in this merman form then I would be able to do this.
Soon I felt the water behind me gripped me thightly on my neck. I felt like I am being suffocated for so long. I felt like I was carrying loads which contained hundred bags of cement. I felt my hand heavy for me to let loose from the grip. My hands was around my neck trying to touch the invisible hands which was chocking me but to my own utmost surprise my hands passed through the water. My eyes were wide open as I tried to think of a way to get myself out of this mess.
“You can never get out of this, you would die soon and victory would me mine just like your name Twirly,” I heard her said and I clenched my fist tightly while struggling with the invisible hand. I felt a little hope in me that I would still survive but I myself knew that my chance of survival is only 0.1%. I knew that it’s either I loose my life or escaped all this but I knew that there was no way that would happen. I had made up my mind to never give up.
I knew that it was pointless struggling to break free from the invisible grip. I knew that I had to do something or I would be dead in the next minute. I knew that it will not be easy to do that. I knew that she would want to see me give up but I won’t give up.
I knew that I have to clear a sort of distraction from my mind and that was what I did. I took in deep breaths which entered my grills. I could feel the calmness of my mind and I was less bothered by what’s happening. I followed Liray’s way in which she did the water formation and I focused it on my neck, and I also tried to do another one which would be directed to Liray. I concentrated even though it’s hard.
I successfully did what I had wanted even though it was in the last minute. I felt a smile spread on my face as I now know one of the things I’m capable of doing. She did hers with her body while I did mine with my heart. I knew that whatever she do now I would have to do it till I’m able to do it more than her. I knew that I have to play around with her to learn more from her.
She doesn’t know what is going to come their way. I would extract my revenge from them all by using Liray. “Arrg, you used this against me, you won’t know what would come your way,” she said as she break free from the water. I was amazed that she broke free from it earlier than me.
I saw her summon a chair which look like rock and then she sat on it. I stared at her curiously wanting to know what she was up to. I knew that whatever she want to do that it would be more dangerous than all that I have faced. I knew that as I countered the attack then I would face more dangerous things. It would be like the levels of a game who would keep on getting hard.
I suddenly felt myself being strangled from behinds and I turned to find the same invisible hand but this time the hand seem more invisible than the others. This one hand can’t be seen clearly, it was almost like the water than the trail was lower than that.
The trail was faint and I knew that it was the handwork of Liray. No one needs to tell me that because I knew about that. I grabbed the hands and I twisted it with all my strength and I was glad that my hand didn’t pass through it. I threw the hand across the room and then I was able to see it clearly.
The hand was from that of Liray and I stared at her in confusion. I stared at where she was before and I saw her sitting there with her eyes closed. I knew that the Liray I was fighting was fake. I was confused not knowing what to do and I got distracted by that. I didn’t know when the clone of Liray got to my back until I feel her strangling me. I tried to break free but I was unable to do that. I tried harder but it seems like the more I try the more she thightened her grip on my neck. I could feel the air in my grills blocking and before I knew what was happening. I feel her snap my head.
It has been days since I have been in this hell hole and I must admit that it was tiring and it also looks like I’m being trained by Liray but I knew that I must not let my guard down. I knew that she might have been doing all that just to make it look like she is helping me but since she had told me her real intentions then I knew that she is right with all that.
She has been fighting me with all she gets and she was using her powers to make me back down but as soon as she try one of her powers I also did. I had figured it out that whatever powers she posses is also in me because I’m a golden tailed merman just like her. I made sure that I try what she do in another dimension that will surprise her but she never gave up till now and I’m glad for that.
“I must say that you are such a good learner, you seems to learn whatever I do quick and I’m glad that I’m the one who taught you all that,” Liray said after our fight and I stared at her confusedly not knowing what to do. Does she meant that she is my teacher but how come I don’t know. I don’t know what to say or do. I felt like all my strength has been dried off me. I could feel the soreness of my body.
I felt like I have been hitted by a big train. “What do you mean by that, you evil mermaid” I growled angrily as I stared at her. I couldn’t believe that she would say all this to me after all what she made me pass through and I think I know the reason she was doing this. She is doing this all in the name of letting me leave her without harming her. I knew that this must have been her trick and I would not let that happen.
“Believe me or not I’m saying the truth. All what I had said to you in the beginning are all nothing but lies which I cooked up to trigger your emotions. I had hoped that you shouldn’t attack me on impulse but I also hoped that you do. Do you want to know why?” she said with a dramatic pause and a sinister smirk was morphed on her face.
I glared at her face with so much anger knowing that she must have wanted to play with me again but I knew what to do. I won’t let her play with me this time so I would finish her once and for all if she ever try that.
“Uch, I forget that you wouldn’t want to know but nevertheless I would tell you the reason” she said and she teleported just beside me. I close my eyes gently while listening to her heartbeat. She seems more than calm than when we were fighting and I knew that she might be up to a trick. I listened carefully while trying to decipher what her next line of action would be.
“That was because I wanted to beat the hell out of you even though you are my trainee but you were lucky to know how to take care of your emotions. I must say you did well out there,” She said and she wanted tapped my shoulders but she couldn’t because I teleported away from her just at the nick of time when her hands would hit my shoulder.
I pinned her to the to an invisible wall made by me but she easily broke free from it and she smiled at me. The looks on her face was like that of an exited person.
“I can assure you that I meant no harm, I was only doing my duty. I was told to train you for your mission by that superior of both merman and mermaid creator. I choose this kind of training because I figured it out that it would make you want to keep on living. You are the first person I was to train, and you should be happy that you had a great teacher like me or aren’t you happy?” she mused as she stared at me.
I looked deep into her eyes and I knew that what she was saying was true. I saw that she was saying nothing but the truth. I felt the blood in my body system went dry. I couldn’t believe that it was all false. I had thought that I had been betrayed by Arielle and Maria but I was wrong. It was all Liray’s fault but I knew that I wouldn’t have been able to train like this if not for what she had done.
“Are you telling me that my parents are also part of the plans?” I questioned curiously while staring at Liray hoping that she would tell me that they were part of the plans but what I get as her answer left me drained emotionally. “No they aren’t, they did all that out of thier own wish and accord but you shouldn’t worry because it was nobodies fault” Liray said and I felt the tears that I have been trying to hold in fall freely.
