Three months had passed, her tummy was showing. Jenny caressed her tummy and smiled, “baby Brandon Jr. Mommy is going to protect you. You are here to stay and nobody will take away your right not even your uncle and aunty. Grandma has always helped us and you need to help her when you grow older, that is,” she paused, “if she is still available and well. It’s time to eat, and do you notice lately Mommy has been eating much. Hmm, it proves you’re growing,” Jenny said to her baby in her tummy then stood up to eat. Her mother’s dishes were always the best. She learnt a lot from her mother’s cooking and that was what Henry loved and missed now – her cooking.

Entering his kitchen, Henry went towards the pot on the gas stove. It was empty. He reminisced about how well Jenny do cook. Patty was on a business trip and she won’t be back till a month past. He placed a pot of hot water on the gas stove and brought out noodles to prepare. He remembered well, when Jenny do prepare noodles. He smiled, then laughed, he bit his lips and brought out the tears. It’s been 7 full months since Jenny left and he haven’t heard of her. Even Patty doesn’t communicate with her. Her voice, how she cooked although Patty could cook, it can never be like Jenny’s. Their mother had actually taught them well. He watched as the water was boiling, Jenny was putting in the noodles and stirring it gently and covering it. Then she turned and looked at him smiling while asking, “why are you looking at me?” Henry was at lost for words. “Just remember not to overlook me in the future,” she said and then went out of the kitchen. Henry was grinning until he realized that the pot which contained water was nearly empty and there was no Jenny in the kitchen nor parlour.

The fashion company that opened four months ago was really stunning the crowd. It had different designs every month and their models were top models. Their brands were released to the public very limited like 7 to 10. They made wristwatches as well as toys for children. The company was really booming and the name was Brandon Jr. Wears.

“I love this dress. It looks good,” Patty said while strolling down the counters in the store she was shopping in. “It is expensive,” she whined checking the price tag.
“Of course, it is from one of the famous newest designers in our country. Brandon Jr wears are top notch,” one of the sales attendant said.
“Brandon Jr!” Patty exclaimed. “That name sounds almost like the famous Henry Brandon,” she joked. The sales attendants laughed. But was it a joke?

“Our president really has products worthy of capturing the public eyes just as she had done months before,” Judy was saying to Henry at a conference meeting. “She will like to invest with you,” she added.
“Sure, I have seen all your designs. They are really top notch and good. I love the company name, Brandon Jr. Wears. Sounds like my surname,” he joked.
Judy smirked. Don’t you know it’s your company? She said inwardly. I am really waiting for a good show!
