MARRIED TO MY TEACHER
Episode 9
Life at the university was not an easy task at all. At first, I was not able to cope but when I thought about my family background, I decided to try my best no matter the circumstances and obstacles that try to block my way to success.
I was facing many challenges and temptations from school. Among which was that of Ms Dina. This woman was old enough to be my mother and she kept luring me into something I knew will torment my life. At first, I took her as my mom because she was my Lecturer but everything turned out negatively. She threatened to fail my course if I refuse to lay with her.
I thought she was drunk when she first said that because, I never imagined that someone that’s old enough to be my mom will persuade me to commit such atrocity. But she kept on persuading me.
It seemed I was out of my mind because Dina was a woman that most of the lecturers were scared of, she can do and undo things that were beyond human imaginations.
I decided to avoid her but, she kept on following any step I took. Things were getting out of hand and there was nothing I could do. Not as if I was the only man in the school, nor the most handsome student. It seemed she only wanted to frustrate my life.
Most of the lecturers were against me. Maybe Lizzy lied to them concerning me. I almost left school because my spirit was weak but I said to myself ” the devil is a liar. ” I called on the name of the Lord Almighty to please deliver me from the snares of my enemies and he heard my prayer.
One Tuesday morning, we heard that Ms Dina was driving to school when her car step on a mud and it splashed on a man standing by the road side. Unknown to her, he was a Police chief Officer. The man complained that at least she would have stopped the car to apologize but before he could complete his sentence, she slapped him. The man ordered for her arrest and she was arrested immediately.
After the charges in court, she was signed 2 years imprisonment.
I thought I was the only one Ms Dina was frustrating. But guess what? I was surprised when some of the guys were celebrating for their freedom since the Delilah was taken away.
The rest of my days at the campus were awesome without Ms Dina.
I graduated successfully from school.
My siblings made a very big feast for me and they were doing very well in their businesses.
During my stay in school Michael got married to sister Cynthia. How their love started was unknown to me but I knew that our family were bonded together strongly in marriage. Because probably I was going to Marry her Niece.
After my service and practicals, Mr Dennis ( my boss) called me to the company for some interview. When I got there, I saw many responsible men sitting on the administrative table, and I was asked to join them.
” He is indeed good for that position ” one of the men recommended focusing on my direction. ” So Mr Dennis, this is the young man you told us that he is coming to represent you right “, the other man asked and his answer was yes.
After they interviewed me, Mr Dennis signed me as his representative since he was old enough for retirement. I was given a 3 bedroom flat with a Toyota Camry.
All those while, Lizzy never left me, she kept supporting me. Even when it seemed all my hopes were gone.
We planned our wedding together and with the help of my in-laws, families and friends, everything went on well.
My marriage with Lizzy is the best thing that thing that ever occur in my life. Because having her by my side makes everything -100% difficult. The almighty God changed my life from 0% to 100%.
I thanked him and I will keep on Thanking him for bringing Michael into my life because without him, I wouldn’t have been able to meet Mr Dennis neither my belove wife, the mother of my kids.
God is indeed merciful to those who serve him in spirit and in truth.
