Nina left the hospital to Joshua’s place.
Joshua is not at home,she decided to prepare his favourite food for him.
Later that afternoon, Joshua returned back home,Nina went to meet him.
Nina: I have been telling you I have something to say for almost a week now
Joshua: you have something to say indeed, you want to tell me how you got pregnant for another man
Nina: please let me explain everything to you but first come and eat.
Nina went to the kitchen to bring food for Joshua.
Nina: dear, please come and eat,I promise to tell you everything.
Joshua: don’t you dare call me dear.
Nina: I know you are angry but please eat first,I will tell you everything.
Joshua refuse to eat, Nina decided to take the food to his room
Nina: take your food please.
Joshua took the food from her,he took it inside the toilet,pour it inside and flush it away.
Joshua: Nina I never knew you are this evil,I thought you love me?so all this were lies.
Nina: Joshua I love you so much and I still do
Joshua: so you have been sleeping around all this while, no wonder you never allowed me to touch you. The dots are now very clear.
Nina: I haven’t been sleeping around, please calm down let me explain to you please.
Joshua: haha, I’m a f00l for standing here,I can’t continue listening to your n0n.sê.nse
Joshua left his room and went out of the house.
Nina said to herself, his anger is justified, by evening I will talk to him.
Joshua return late in the night,Nina who waited for him to come back home, quickly rush to him so they can talk but Joshua is not ready to hear her out.
He locked his room from inside.
It’s been two weeks, Joshua refuse talking to Nina,it’s beginning to make Nina depressed.
She decided she would leave the house and return back to the village,where she is staying before.
That morning Joshua left for work, Nina wrote a very long letter explaining everything about her involvement with mercy and how all the money came about.
She drop the note on Joshua’s bed.
She pack all her things and went back to the village.
When Joshua returned back from work that day,he notice Nina isn’t at home. Maybe she went to get something outside.
He off is clothes and went to the bathroom to shower,he opened the walldrope and find out Nina things are not there.
He rush to the other room she like staying,her things were not there also.
He check all the rooms but she is not in the house.
He went back to his room,it seems she move out of here.
He decided to lay on his bed,then he saw the letter.
He took the letter and read it,when reading the Letter he was sweating profusely.
Nina did all this for me, yet she didn’t tell me, my God what have I done.
He pick up his phone and called Nina but she didn’t pick.
It’s late already,I can’t go to the village today by morning I will go there.
That night Joshua couldn’t sleep,he was restless. He want the time to move fast so he can go meet Nina.
The next morning,he drove to the village to meet Nina.
He manage to get to Nina on time, because she is about to leave for the hospital.
Joshua entered inside the house and hug Nina so tightly
Joshua: I’m so sorry my love, you went through all this for me,yet I hurt you.
I’m so sorry baby,you should have discussed it with me first before agreeing to ma’am mercy. I wouldn’t have allowed you to do it
Nina: dear I’m also sorry for not discussing it with you,I know you won’t agree. We needed the money and also I wish to help her fulfill her dream of becoming a mother
Joshua: I know something wasn’t right,so much money for 200 paintings. I’m so sorry dear,I promise to stand by you, I’m sorry for hurting you.
Nina: I’m sorry too
Joshua: I love you baby
