🌲 LITTLE SOFIA 🌲 EPISODE 8 🌲

I raised my head up but fell unconscious from terror of what I saw.

I tried to open my eyes but my visions where blurry but I could hear faint voices, although I couldn’t say for sure what I was hearing but I could tell it was a female voice.

I tried to stand up even though I couldn’t feel my body, but then a soft and gentle hand held me on my chest and I could hear her faintly saying;

” Mr Richard you have to rest, your safe now”

Immediately I felt a pinch on my shoulders and then a deep sleep envelope me, that I fell into the depths of sleep.

Hours later I woke up and immediately someone touched my arm with two hands.

“Sir, how are you now” the person said.

I turned and stare at her, it was sherry the south African girl who worked as my secretary. I was weak and hungry that I couldn’t say a word, I only made a faint smile.

“You must be hungry ” she turned and checked in her bag, bringing out a flask and opened it and began feeding me it’s content which was spaghetti and chicken stew. “Sir what happened, what led to you fainting?” She asked, with all keenness .

I was about answering her when the doctor walked in with a report or a blue file in her hand. She cleared her throat before making the announcement that I was drugged with “Psychedelics”, it’s a type of drug which causes one to see, feel and hear things that are not real.

But I and sherry was shocked at what the doctor was explaining. Sherry asked me who must have drugged me but I didn’t even reply her since I was lost deep in thoughts.

“Ma’am, so your saying the attack from my late daughter was all my mind tricking me?”I asked.

“Yes Mr Richard, none of it where real…. you must calm down and think who must have drugged you and why. Good day sir, if you need anything you can ask any of the nurses.” The doctor said and took her leave.

“Sir! Who is the cause of this?” Sherry asked.

“I don’t know, I haven’t done any wrong. Why all this, even though, why don’t they just kill, me.” I replied her.

” Sir! Who ever did this only wants you to suffer, did you in any way hurt your wife, or harmed her ?” Sherry asked, with a suspicious look.

” Nope why do you say so” I retorted.

“It’s just that after you fell unconscious I called your wife and immediately she heard of your condition she laughed and ended the call ” Sherry said.

It was the next day, early in the morning, sherry slept by me while sitting on the chair. We were both asleep when the police banged into the hospital and dragged me to the station.

At the station, I was bitten mercilessly and was accused of using some one for ritual. I tried to convince them but no one heed.

It wasn’t till in the evening that day that sherry returned to the station with my lawyer. They where the ones who forced the police to explain exactly my crime
