“Sade is nobody, she’s just a new girl and the secretary to the DFA, i just met her today and that’s all, by the way, why are you asking sef?, is there any problem? I queried.
” not at all, the way you both were smiling when I saw you in the afternoon made it looked as if you’ve known one another for ages.” She said.
Suddenly we heard a shower on the roof, I rushed out to check what it was and alas! It was rain, wind blowing heavily as it meddled with sands and dirt, I ran back inside.
“its raining heavily outside Bukola are you sure you’ll be able to go home in this rain?” I asked rhetorically. The expression on her face showed that she was happy it was raining and that would be an excuse for not going home.
“I will have to wait for the rain to stop before I set out, unless you want to send me home in this heavy rain” she replied looking straight into my eyes, leaving confusion in my heart.
It was 9:30pm already and still raining as if the heaven just started emptying all the water in its dam.
I couldn’t say that she should be going home in the heavy rain neither can I send her home after the rain because I know how Fagba road could be when its rainy and how scarce and expensive transport would be.
“You might not be able to go home tonight because of the level of this rain, and how the road used to be when its raining” I said cautiously.
“I know, I just want to hear it from you” she replied and I was surprised at her response.
“Can I have something to put on from your clothes? She asked” i handed her a tees and a nicker, she collected the tees, ignored my nicker and reach for one of my boxers.
“Will you be comfortable in that? I asked, she replied, of course I will. She pulled her clothes right in front of me, her cleavages stared at me, my heart started beating fast and I was wallowing in shyness and confusion simultaneously.
She noticed my reaction as she was putting on the tees, I threw my face away.
“Stop being childish” she said,moved closer to me, wrapped my hands around her and whispered faintly into my ears.

I was shocked because I never expected it, I unpinned reluctantly and she pulled it out from the front, her tits stood up for challenge, I left for the bathroom to do nothing as I was wondering what she was up to.
She called out “Yemi what are you doing in the bathroom?” she asked.
” I’ll be out in a minute” I replied with a loud voice.
I came out after a while and she was already in my boxer, lying on the bed with her phone. She was looking fresh and calling, i stared for a while before i regained consciousness, I sat at the edge of the bed and started pressing my phone too.
Why did you distant yourself from me? Move closer now.
She moved closer to me, dropped her phone and leaned on me, she place her right hand across my neck and robbed my chest with the other hand, her succulence on my body was comforting and nature was already setting into my system, I tried to breakaway but it was like getting glued more, the room was filled with perfect silence as the only sound was the fingers of the rain beating the drum of the roof, she rested her head on my chest and muttered in words I didn’t understand.
“I need to pull off all these clothes and shower before coming back to bed” i asked politely before breaking away from her”
” I wish to shower too but its already cold” she replied.
I pulled off my clothes while she went back to her phone, she placed the pillow against the wall and rested her back on it, making her sitting down and watched me as I pulled my clothes, and left with boxer only.
Her smile made me know she was up to something as she couldn’t stop staring at my southern zone.
I left for the bathroom and had my bathe, but all that was going through my mind was what was she was trying to do, I had the idea of what her obvious intentions were, but I couldn’t solve the puzzles of why, I didn’t even ask her out.
I stayed under the shower for a while before leaving for the room, she stood up immediately she saw me and gave me a hug.
“I like your body” she said. I chuckled.
Thank you and we both went back to the bed. I was feeling cold already so I ran under the duvet for rescue and she joined me.
She jumped on me, pulled off the tees she was putting on and joined me under the duvet, she romanced my body with passion written all over her, she went south with her hand and stroked it hardly, my sun had already risen to its full glory, but my heart was obstructing the light from shining through to illuminate my feelings, she moaned continuously in pleasure, she pulled off and was already naked, she held me down and was about coming up on me when I stopped her.
“You know we can’t do this, I iiii…you” I stuttered
” what! Are you saying you don’t like me? Are you saying you don’t have any feeling for me?” She asked angrily.
” See, I like you as a friend, and I respect you as a friend too that’s why I tell you everything, you are intelligent and smart and I love us being friends, please try to understand me Bukola”, I pleaded.
She looked into my eyes with here teary eyes.
“You always tell me I am beautiful, Yemi, you always cherish the way I dress, you give me attention, you show your care and protection, are you telling me you are doing all these because you see me as your friend?” she poured out and started crying.
“i am sorry, I meant no harm, that was my little way of caring for a friend, and i didn’t mean to play with your emotions, I am so sorry Bukola”
She wiped her tears, and laid on my chest.
“Yemi, OK we are friends now accepted, but not tonight, it starts tomorrow. I want you to make love to me tonight…”

I was in a meeting with my boss when my phone rang, I ignored it, the call came through the second time.
“you can pick your call” said my boss.
“Hello sir, my name is Gabriel, I am calling from ministry of Land Bureau, I just want to inform you that the process of allocating a land for your project is ready, and a plot has been allocated to you, could you please schedule a meeting so that we can go there together to see if its going to be suitable for the project” He said.
” Ok, thank you sir, can I get back to you on this line?” I asked.
“Yes sir you can”
Expect my call any moment sir, thank you for your efforts, Bye”
I explained what the caller said to my boss and she advised I contact the necessary personnel on time so as not to delay anything, I contacted my committee but only one of them was available and we agreed to meet with land bureau by 12 noon, I called Mr Gabriel back to inform him of the latest update, I contacted ministry of works as well as ministry of housing to make their architect and builder available for the inspection.
Bukola flashed through my mind as regard what happened last night and this morning, I dialed her number but she wasn’t picking up, I dialed it several times, it was still the same, I sent her a message.
“Hey baby, why aren’t you picking my calls, hope you are fine? Lunch by 2:30pm at the usual place, see you there”
Yet no reply and that was unusual of her.
I was working on a computer I brought from the office of logistics when Sade walked in.
“Good morning engineer, could you please help me with my computer? Its not displaying and the DFA gave me some works to do.”
I chuckled. “A computer was given to you yesterday and its not displaying today, what have you done to it?” I asked jokingly.
“I didn’t do anything, but it fell on its side this morning when I was trying to arrange my table” she explained as we both headed to her office.
I smiled, “and you said nothing”
I opened up the system and noticed the RAM had fallen from its slot, I fixed it and coupled it back, then it came up back to life.
“Waoh! You are indeed an engineer, thank you, I like your wrist watch, she said”
“Thank you”
“You look good, the guy is really taking care of you”I teased her.
“which guy, I am taking care of myself, no one is taking care of me, and before I forget, my birthday is next week Thursday but i will celebrate it on Saturday, I am inviting you, hope you will be there?” She asked
“Should I take that as a mere conversation or an invitation?” I quizzed.
She rolled her big cat like eyes. “Invitation of course, or I am not in the calibre of your kind of ladies because I saw the way that Lady in Land bureau looked at me the other day I was escorting you to your office” she said.
I started laughing.
“Its not funny, she thinks she’s tough uhn? Or she thinks she can keep you to herself only, lets not diverse, are you coming?” She asked.
“Hmmm….I can’t really say for now, it depends on my schedule, if I am available I will definitely be there and if I am not, I will surely make it up to you some other time. I said.
” I was expecting this, If you wish to be there you will surely make time, except you have a date with boo, boo should let the booless enjoy other people’s attentions na” she said.
I started wondering where the gut and confidence suddenly came from. She was bold and she curled her body seductively as she speaks and her eye balls kept sending a signal. Okay, let’s do this.
” I will try to be there, is that OK by you now?” I asked.
“yes!” She exclaimed.
“I have to go back to my office; I have a lot of work to do.” I said and was about leaving for my office, she faced me and rested her succulent massive bosoms on me.
“Thanks for fixing my system, you can chat me up when you are bored, she reached for my pocket, brought out my phone, punched in her digits, dialed it and returned it back to my pocket. Her hand crawled on my thigh.
” I have to go now”
“Sure you should”
I was on my way to my office and kept wondering what her intention was, but no matter what it was, I am enjoying it.
I was in my office when Bukola’s message came in.
” I am not seeing you today, enjoy your lunch”
“But why is she doing like this?” I wondered..
Few minutes later, Mr Gabriel’s call came in to inform me that he was on his way to the site, i dropped the call and called all necessary personnel that was supposed to be at the site with us, we eventually converged at the location.
“This site is too small for the proposed plan made for the facility” said the architect.
He brought out the proposed plan and showed it to Mr Gabriel.
“You have to allocate another Land to us or probably one of the old offices around us could be renovated to suit the project”. I explained.
“That would be a nice idea, we were contemplating on the building beside the car park when Bukola’s call came through, I excused myself and walked few feet’s away from them to pick her call.
“I don’t want to keep malice with you and i don’t want to keep any grudges against you, I will see you at lunch”
She dropped the call. I was so excited; at least, she’s going to see me. We inspected the building and the architect confirmed it will be fit for the project since its an abandoned building and its more closer to the ministry than the land.
“I will have to go back to the ministry to inform the PS of Land bureau for approval and also work on the allocation processes before work can commence on site”. Mr Gabriel explained.
“We will be expecting feedback from you, thank you everyone for coming” I appreciated everyone and we all departed to our various offices.
I was on my way to my office when I noticed it was some minutes to 2pm, I changed my direction and headed straight to where we do have lunch because I wouldn’t want Bukola to get angry for being late.
I got there right on time and she showed up few minutes later, she sat opposite side without saying a word, she frowned and acted as if she didn’t know me.
“Hi pretty” I stretched my hand forward anticipating she would accept it. She looked at me in a funny way that a stranger would know she wasn’t happy with me. I smiled and pulled back.
“What will you like to eat?”, I asked but no word came out. I knew her favourite to be chicken and chips, I ordered it and ordered same for myself. We ate without saying a word to one another.
All effort to make her talk went futile, so I decided to ignore her too, I paid for the bill and stood up.
“I am going back to my office, I have a lot of work to do and a lot of people to meet too” I explained and headed for the door, suddenly, she stood up and held my hand, her eyes were teary, she wore a sad face.
“Are you okay?” I asked anxiously. “
I love you Yemi despite the fact that you only want friendship, please I want to be your girl, please” she said.
Message kept coming into my phone, I brought out my phone and saw messages from Sade, they were not words. They were pictures of her cleavages peeping out of her loosened buttons.
She captioned it with.
“You want these? Come get them sweet boy”
