Hillsong United of Hillsong Church, an American gospel music group, released an ocean song known as “Spirit lead me.” Hillsong’s “Spirit Lead Me” is a fantastic song that will bless your soul.
Hillsong is a massive gospel music soloist whose resume wouldn’t be complete without thanking God’s grace as a blessing, as spirit directed me to drop this well-known and career-changing song.
It was released as the second and final single from their third studio album, Zion, on August 23, 2013. Taya Smith sings lead, and the song was written by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, and Salomon Ligthelm, with Michael Guy Chislett handling production.
At the 2014 GMA Dove Awards, the song won several major categories. It took home the awards for song of the year, “Contemporary Christian Performance of the Year,” and “Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year.”
Hillsong United was named “Artist of the Year” and “Worship Song of the Year.” It can be difficult to maintain our faith in God in some circumstances. When things don’t go as planned in life, or when there appears to be no way to solve an issue, it’s natural to begin to doubt and distance ourselves from what we know to be true.
But, as this song reveals, when we allow the Lord to lead us via his spirit, our trust is infinite and without bounds. We all have times when we are overcome with sadness, suffering, and grief.
We may not know how to comprehend our emotions, let alone convey them to our Heavenly Father, during these times. The Holy Spirit can intervene on our behalf and transmit our feelings to God.
In addition to intervening on our behalf and guiding us, the Holy Spirit can also lead us if we let him. The Holy Spirit is God since he is the third member of the Trinity. Many people are unaware that the Holy Spirit is God; nevertheless, he is.
