TEMI 2 Episode 19 All About True Love & Betrayal
“Hello mom” Lance greeted as he threw himself on the nearest couch at sight. It was an hectic day as usual. He had deliberately receded from Derick’s case and sequestered it from the prying eyes of his colleagues right from when he knew the killer was still a life a saver. Actually his life saver. The burning antipathy he had for him had shifted to sympathy and pathos. Atleast for a young man who was impelled to becoming a killer out of his complaisance and was now on the run to just save his a.ss from being scourged all because he never wanted to kill again.
“I need your help on this” he heard his mother speak. Yes her mother
was nurse Tracy. The woman that saved Temi from shadows of death at
childbirth. Tunde had paddled her to travelling abroad after delivering
Temi to him. He had wanted to make the escape a secret one reason he
instructed her not squeal to anybody and had prepared her travelling
documents.
Nurse Tracy travelled indeed and met Lance’s father at the US. The man
that later died of cancer living Nurse Tracy as single mother of one.
She returned to Nigeria recently only to meet Tunde threatening. She
got to know later how Tunde had turned Temi to a daytime killer. That
didn’t go down well with her and decided to avoid Tunde like plague. But
was astonished when she got a heartrending picture message of a young
boy captioned ” Save Temi before he dies”. The message got her befuddle
because she had never met the child right from the day she rescued him,
25 years ago. But later felt elated when knowing his son could help.
Atleast he is a detective.
“I need you to help me find this person son, he needs our help” The
older woman talked as he fed Lance’s queer eyes with the picture and
with the caption boldly written atop.
“Waiit mum.. Where did you know Temi” Lance blurted with surprise.
“ohh! Great do yo know him ?” Eliza’s respond turned out to be another question for his son.
“Of course mum.. This was the guy that saved me the other day. He came
to rescue me” Lance poured out more and more. He explained everything
that had happened and how they escaped to a far village.
“Good you know all these son.. I don’t know what this message mean but i
think he is in a kind of danger.. I just need to meet him. I,need to
see him now” Nurse Tracy cried out jiving about. She couldn’t decipher
the kind of danger on edge for Temi was but was sure would pick clues
immediately she set his eyes on him. Or probably she had derived clew on
judging from what his son narrated but just didn’t know the next step
to take.
“Son we need to get to that village first thing tomorrow morning” Nurse Tracy said….
