**NEXT DAY**
”Why did you quarrel with Natasha?” Mr. Kole asked Anita who stood before him looking a bit angry
”I guess that question should be referred to Natasha” Anita said pointing at Natasha who stood besides her
”How dare you reply me in such manner” Mr. Kole barked at Anita standing up
”What gave you the guts to quarrel with my P.A” Mr. Kole barked the more
”And what gave you the guts to think you can substitute me for another girl” Anita barked back at Mr. Kole
”What??” Mr. Kole asked surprised at her reply. Natasha stood in shock as she looked at Anita and Mr. Kole
”I’m supposed to be what she is now but you think you can shift me aside and bring her” Anita continued
”This is just the beginning Chief. I will deal with her!” Anita said and angrily walked out
”Anita! Anita!!” Mr. Kole shouted her name severally but Anita never answered him
”hmmmm..” Mr. Kole exhaled heavily
”Don’t mind her my dear” Mr. Kole said turning to Natasha
”She is just angry” He added
”But she is threatening me Sir” Natasha said not feeling comfortable anymore
”Don’t bother yourself with that. She is just angry. You can go now” Mr. Kole said and Natasha left. Few minutes after Natasha left the office, Mr. Kole’s phone rang
”Hello..” He said
”Alright, I will be there” He replied to the caller with a smile. He picked up his car keys and left the office

”I never believed you will come back” Mr. Kole said to Jasmine as they walked into the hotel room
”I had to Sir, the contract is just too big to let go” Jasmine said and sat on the bed with the files she was holding in her hands.
”Yes dear, so where do we start from” Mr. Kole asked falling on the bed also. Jasmine smiled at him. Mr. Kole drew closer to her and tried romancing her but Jasmine refused him
”Not so fast Chief” Jasmine said
”Why?” Mr. Kole asked
”You have to sign these first” Jasmine said showing Mr. Kole the documents
”Are you out of your mind??!” Mr. Kole asked Jasmine
”How do you expect me to…” Mr. Kole tried shouting at Jasmine but Jasmine kissed him and began to romance him.. On this he lured Mr. Kole into signing the first document..

Kehinde was the only one in the complex that hot afternoon. Adesua went to a friend’s birthday party, and others in the complex went to work. Musa the gateman was busy sleeping on duty while Abigail was behind the house washing her clothes. Soon enough, there was a car horn outside the gate. Musa woke up immediately and opened the gate. Betty drove in with her black range rover sports car. She wore an all black attire. She came down from her car and flinged her car keys. Everywhere was so quiet. She walked into her apartment thinking she was the only one in the complex. As she tried to undress, she viewed bulb lights from Kehinde’s apartment.
”I guess it’s his wife” Betty said to herself and continued with what she was doing. She had her mind running about in thought.
”Even if it’s the wife, I will just greet her and go” She concluded and wore a flying slight transparent yellow gown and walked towards Kehinde’s apartment.
”Yes, I’m coming” Kehinde’s voice echoed as a reply to Betty’s knock on the door. Kehinde opened the door immediately, on seeing Betty his mind skipped
”H..h..h..i.. Hi” He greeted stammering
”Hi” Betty reciprocated
”Can I come in?” Betty asked
”Errhmm.. Sure.. Of course you can” Kehinde said and allowed Betty in.
”Seems your wife is not at home” Betty said
”Oh.. Yes, she went out” Kehinde replied and walked away to get Betty a drink
”So, why are you here?” Kehinde asked Betty
”To check on my neighbour of course” Betty said and picked up the glass of juice Kehinde has already poured in for her. The television was on, silently they watched the television for few minutes, Betty’s eyes never left Kehinde. Soon enough her eyes caught with Kehinde’s eyes and she cut it out immediately
”Do you need anything?” Kehinde asked
”Eerrhhm.. Yes” Betty said
”Alright.. What is it?” Kehinde asked and Betty starred at him
”You.. I need you” Betty said and walked towards Kehinde. Kehinde was surprised at what she said and gulped out his eyes
”You must be kidding” Kehinde said
”You, I’m not” Betty said finally in front of him
”I need you inside of me” Betty said
”Alright, I know you are joking so go and sit down” Kehinde said and immediately, Betty unzipped her gown and it fell off her body leaving her naked on pants and bra.
”What are you doing. You better stop this!” Kehinde said with a more harsh voice
”Don’t you like what you see.” Betty said romantically touching herself. Although Kehinde was attracted but he held himself
”Come and take the pie” Betty said opening up her pants dragging Kehinde to herself. Kehinde resisted her but she was persistent. Just then, there was a knock on the door and both of them starred in shock..

The room became very quiet and the breeze of confusion blew in it. The hard heart beats of Kehinde and Betty was heard.
”You are a bitch!” Kehinde said to Betty who quickly picked up her gown..
”Good afternoon Sir” Abigail greeted Kehinde as he opened the door
”Good afternoon my dear” Kehinde replied
”What do you want” Kehinde asked
”Nothing Sir, I be dey hear noise and I think say nobody no house na em I say make I check” Abigail said
”Alright then, you see, I am at home” Kehinde said
”Ook, but madam dey?” Abigail asked further
”No.. I am the only one at home” Kehinde said
”Ook nah.. I just say make I check” Abigail said and left the door but
her eyes was still glued at the door. Kehinde closed the door
immediately and Betty came out from where she was hiding
”Now get out from this place” Kehinde ordered
”Take it ea…” Betty tried to say but Kehinde barked at her
”I said get out!” Kehinde said with a loud voice and another knock was
heard on the door. With the anger in his heart, Kehinde thought it was
Abigail
”I thought I told you to go away!!” Kehide barked as he opened the door,
but all his anger and harsh voice diluted immediately he saw Adesua
standing in front of him.
”Dar..Darl..Darling.. You are back already” Kehinde said but Adesua
starred at him saying nothing. Adesua was speechless as she saw Betty.
She pushed Kehinde out of the way slowly and walked towards Betty.
”Ooh… Errhm.. Sorry, I guess I will be going now” Betty said and walked out.
”I can explain everything” Kehinde said immediately Betty banged the
door behind. Adesua said nothing but tears rolled down her eyes
”It’s not what you think dear, I…” Kehinde tried to explain but Adesua pushed him away
”I don’t blame you at all.. What do you take me for?” Adesua barked at Kehinde
”I went out and you found it as an opportunity right?” Adesua said looking at Kehinde
”She just came and…” Kehinde still trying to explain
”I don’t want to hear anything” Adesua barked at Kehinde
”Well, no problem.. I know what I am ging to do” Adesua said
”Just keep your explanations to yourself” Adesua said and angrily walked upstairs leaving Kehinde who didn’t know what to do..

Abigail ran out to the gate clapping her hands and laughing as she ran into Musa who was coming out from his room..
”Abigail.. Which kind thing come be this one nah” Musa said a bit angry
”My friend shut up!” Abigail said to Musa
”Olodo… You no know anything” Abigail added
”You tatafoo.. Aproko..” Musa said to Abigail
”Which one you come carry come today” Musa asked Abigail and sha sat down stretching her legs..
”Big things Agwan my man” Abigail began
”Talk jare.. I no get time for this your gossip this afternoon” Musa said
”Oga Kehinde and Sisi Betty wan try do kerewawa but madam Adesua catch them!” Abigail said
”Kawaiii!! Walahi, this is a lie” Musa said jumping up
”You think say I dey lie??” Abigail said
”I dey back yard dey hear the thing na em I say make I go check, I knock
na em oga Kehinde open door, Betty go hide.. As I comot na em madam
Adesua enter” Abigail said
”Oh.. Boy.. This one don pass gobe ooh” Musa said
”How em come take explain nah” Musa asked
”Na me you dey ask that one.. I no know nah.. But I sure say better fight go roll” Abigail said and stood up
”Where you dey go?” Musa asked
”My post nah.. Gate na my post?” Abigail asked Musa
”Na so your case dey be” Musa said
”No be you talk now say you no get my time.. Make I dey go nah” Abigail said and hissed..

”Hello.. Natasha” Mr. Kole said from his cell phone
”Come to my office now” Mr. Kole said and dropped the call
”Good Morning Sir” Natasha greeted as she entered the office
”Morning my dear” Mr. Kole reciprocated
”Why are you proving so stubborn” Mr. Kole asked
”How Sir?” Natasha asked as a reply
”You have refused to give me what I want from you” Mr. Kole said
”Sir, I can’t do that which you are asking me to do Sir” Natasha said
”Ehee.. Then I will have to cancel your contract” Mr. Kole threatened
”No Sir… Please don’t do it Sir” Natasha pleaded
”Then do as I asked you” Mr. Kole said
”Sir… I.. I will think about it” Natasha said looking depressed
”You better do” Mr. Kole said and Natasha exhaled
”Sorry Sir, I will be going to Lagos today to get some of my things Sir” Natasha said with a soft look
”You better don’t miss work tomorrow” Mr. Kole said with a harsh voice
”Thank you Sir” Natasha said and left the office

Adesua was still having matters with Kehinde. Despite the fact that
Kehinde kept pleading and explaining, Adesua never listened. Kehinde
then decided to give her some time to calm down. He tried doing many
things to make her happy. Although Adesua was harsh with Kehinde, she
knew that Betty was the cause of everything and that Kehinde is a good
man..

**EVENING SAME DAY**
Natasha rushed in to the gate of the Estate as she was coming from Abuja just as she told Mr. Kole
”Arhh!! Madam, welcome ooh” Musa greeted
”Musa, how are you?” Natasha asked
”Madam, I am fine ooh, you just leave us ooh” Musa said smiling
”Not really my dear.” Natasha said and gave Musa some money
”Madam, thank you ooh” Musa thanked her ans she walked briskly to her apartment.
”Hello dear” Betty and Queency greeted Natasha
”Good evening” Natasha greeted as they walked towards her
”Why are you rushing like this?” Betty asked
”Ooh.. I need to hurry up and gather things so as not miss the early morning flight” Natasha replied
”Always rushing and running, don’t kill yourself ooh” Queency said and Natasha smiled
”Anyways, I will come and see you later” Betty said and Natasha walked out…

”See this babe ooh!!! Who told you to come back?” Clara asked Natasha as she entered the apartment
”Girl, leave matter ooh” Natasha said dropping her bag and opening her wardrobe
”What are you doing?” Clara asked
”I need to put up some things” Natasha said
”What about the stuff you told me about?” Clara asked
”I just can’t do it my dear. And he is planning to destroy my career because of it” Natasha said
”What?? Babe, wake up ooh.” Clara said
”You better wake up, after all you will enjoy it” Clara said but Natasha looked at her
”Clara, I cannot give away my dignity because of a mere job. Never!” Natasha said to Clara
”Then, what do you intend to do?” Clara asked
”Nothing” Natasha replied not looking at her
”What do you mean nothing?” Clara asked standing up from the bed
”He didn’t create me.. God will give me another job. I don’t care. My pride means a lot to me” Natasha said and Clara starred at her
”Hmmm.. Sister Mary, better don’t run back to me crying ooh” Clara said and sat back on the bed but Natasha didn’t say anything to her.. After few seconds, Clara broke the silence in the room
”I will be going for a show tonight.. Suite yourself” Clara said and walked to the bathroom tying a white towel aroung her chest
”Alright.. Take care” Natasha said and concentrated on what she was doing..

**6:30 AM The Next Morning**
Natasha woke up immediately, said a little word of prayer and began to prepare for work
”Jeez.. I’m running late” She late looking at the time. She washed her mouth and took a glass of wine, she left the remaining wine in the cup on the table of the parlour and rushed to take her bath.. In few minutes, she was done, without making up she rushed out to the parlour with her bags.. She tried taking the remaining wine but left it there and rushed out not closing the door as Clara was not yet back..
She hurried out of the gate with her car and drove to the air port.

”Are you sure she has not left?” Queency said to Betty who wanted to go and see Natasha as they were close friends
”Babe, I promised her I will come. Let me just go and check” Betty said
”Leave her nah, Let her go.. I am sure Natasha is still around” Phina said to Queency and Betty hurrirdly walked out.
On getting to the door of Natasha’s apartment, she knocked but everywhere was silent.. She held the handle of the door and it opened up..
”Ooh.. Thank God, I knew she was still around” Betty said and walked in calling Natasha’s name. She entered the parlour and saw the wine on the table
”This girl eeh, always rushing. See as she left the wine on the table open” Betty said and took the wine
”Hmm.. Red wine.. My favourite” Betty said and drank the wine still calling Natasha’s name thinking she was still at home…

Natasha luckily got to work early enough.
”Good Morning Anita” She greeted but Anita didn’t reply her
”Please why not stop this quarrel my dear” Natasha said walking towards Anita’s table
”i have nothing to do with Mr. Kole. Truly, he has been wanting me to sleep with him but I refused. Why can’t you believe me” Natasha said
”What??” Anita exclaimed
”You are a joker..” Anita said
”Please dear. I really do not have anything to do with him” Natasha added
”It’s alright.. I have heard you..” Anita said
”So, have you forgiven everything?” Natasha asked
”Not really because I don’t believe you yet” Anita said and hissed. Natasha smiled
”Good Morning Anita” Natasha greeted again
”Good Morning” Anita replied not looking at her
”Is Mr. Kole in his office?” Natasha asked further
”Yes he is, taking his morning tea” Anita said and Natasha smiled
”Let me go and see him my dear.. Anyways thanks for understanding me” Natasha said and walked into the office of Mr. Kole.. As she walked in, a loud scream was heard from Mr. Kole’s office that made all the workers to rush out and run into Mr. Kole’s office..

Clara came back to see the door opened, with sleepy eyes she walked in and found Betty laying lifeless in her room and she yelled for help
