MITCHELL POV
Still in his arms,We mingled ariund,I could barely concentrate
All I kept thinking about was the kiss he gave me a while ago
Agreeing to play the part of the real Mitchell till she comes back doesn’t mean that he would be kissing me how ever he likes
I won’t let that happen,Not now or ever,I thought as I smiled at the men he was introducing me to me
“Finally your going for it your Majesty,I hope you don’t go astray again cause your bride to be is very beautiful”The man said giving me a smile
“Don’t worry minister John, My future bride have finally made me realise what am missing and am sure that for a very long time,I will be contented with just being with her” Luis responded and I found myself starring at him
Some how I felt that he meant what he was saying but he couldn’t mean it right?
The one who he meant those words for were for the real Mitchell right?
I must have a word with him and tell him not to treat me in the same way he would treat the real Mitchell
After all she is his real bride and if I hadn’t opened that darn book,she would be the one here with him.
A while later while every one was relaxed and enjoying the party,I pulled him off to the balcony
“We need to talk Luis”
“About what?”he asked
“About us”
“What about exactly?”he asked, pretending not to know what i wanted to talk about
“About the cuddles and kisses,Is it really necessary?”I asked sheepishly
“If we want to make every one believe that your Mitchell,We have to”He replied starring out at the sky
“But you promised me,You said there won’t be kisses and touches”I replied remembering the deal we both had in his study some few days ago
FLASH BACK“Just give me back the book and let me leave”
“That won’t be possible,I gave the book to Max to help me keep it in a safe place and he has gone back home to visit his family”Luis replied
“Then call him! Make him tell you where he left the book”I retorted angrily
“You see Max is some one who believes in telling you things face to face,He would rather say it to your face than to say through the phone and when I gave him that book,I made it clear to him that it was very important to me and if I called him now to tell me,He wouldn’t tell me,So it’s better we wait for him to come back’
“Your just lying right? Your trying to keep me here on purpose”I said feeling frustrated already
“No am not,Look Mitchell all am saying is that you wait,Wait till the real Mitchell comes back”
“But I have to leave so she can come back “
“That is what you believe Mitchell but we don’t know how that book works,For all we know the real Mitchell might be some where” he said standing up and walking towards me
“Then let’s wait for her,I can’t marry you,You shouldn’t have said yes to her father”
“But I did that only because he threatened to take you away and if the real Mitchell had been here I would have done the same thing”he replied
“You see Mitchell, You made me realise how much I love Mitchell,I mean the real one,I played with her heart a lot and i regret it”He continued
“So what you are saying now is that you love Mitchell”I asked
“Yes I do and when her father had come threatening to take you away,I could only say yes,To stop him from taking you away*
“But am not her and it’s me he is taking away”I said
“I know,Your the Mitchell here for now and once he takes you away there would be no chance of you returning to your world so the real Mitchell can come back”
“Your right! You do have a point”I said
“So you have to stay until Max returns to tell us where the book is and while you are still here,You can keep on acting as the real Mitchell and you would have to marry me too”
“So I must marry you and wait diligently for max to return from his holiday to tell us where he kept the book and then I leave so the one you love can come back?”I asked
“Yes Mitchell,You would have to do all that and I promise,I won’t kiss or touch you,The only one I love is the real Mitchell not you”He said making me remember how I was looked over by the other guys
“Fine,It’s a deal,I will pretend to be the real Mitchell,go to the engagement party,Get married to you and when max returns you let me leave”
“Its a deal Mitchell”He said giving me a smile………….
END OF FLASH BACKJust remembering what I agreed to do days ago made me sighed heavily
I turned to stare at the man who had suddenly grew silent beside me
“Aren’t you going to say some thing”I asked
“I know I promised you that they won’t be kisses but we have to if we want to convince everyone”he said
“But Luis……”
“Just bear with it Mitchell,Bear with it for a while more as soon as Max return,You would be going back”He said
“So I would have to bear with your kisses too”
“Its not that bad though?”he said giving me a stern look
“It isn’t but it doesn’t feel right,Mitchell is the one you should be kissing not me,So it would be best if you don’t kiss me at all”I said
“So your problem now is the kissing part?”
“Yes it is,It’s bothersome Luis,Don’t do it again,Please”I said and walked off heading for the ladies room
Telling him to stop the kiss is all because of the strange way I feel around him and whatever that might be,I don’t want it to grow into something
He loves The real Mitchell and am just here for the mean time
I just can’t wait until Max returns,So I can leave
LUIS POV“bothersome,My kiss is bother some,The nerve…..”I muttered angrily
A lot of girls would die to have me kiss them and here was one that I freely gave my kiss and she threw it back on my face
If it wasn’t because she was the one I liked,I would have stopped everything myself and send her away
Why did I have to fall for her,Why couldn’t it have been the real Mitchell
Just so she could stay,I lied to her that I was in love with the real Mitchell
Unknown to her she is the one I love,I don’t know how it began but all I know is that am in love with the fake Mitchell
Why did my stupid heart have to choose her,I thought angrily
Max call came in at the right moment
Making sure that she was fully gone,I answered the call
“Your Majesty,I called to tell you that I will be coming back tomo……”
“Dont,Don’t come back tomorrow”I said quickly
“But why your Majesty?”
“It’s because I say so,Enjoy your holiday and don’t come back until I say so okay”I said and cut the call
Max arrival was the only thing keeping her here,Once he arrives and she leaves,I will lose her for good and I don’t want that.
So if she is married to me and I manage to seduce her and if luck is on my side,If she gets pregnant, she would have no option than to stay here with me and that would certainly make me very happy
